Clove gently bandaged Clove's wound, applying ointment they had recieved as a gift.

Rue was watching Katniss suspiciously. She likes Cato! I can't team up with her like that! I'll probably be betrayed!, she thought. Grabbing her backpack, she disappeared into the woods.

"Thanks. How do you feel?" Cato asked, touching his large hand to her forehead, checking for fever.

Clove stretched her hands lazily. "I'm fine! The ointment works!" she replied.

Katniss sighed and looked over her shoulder to se Rue was and she though Of course! I wish I died! I bet they all wish me dead! Then she grabbed her pack and raced through the woods, not caring where she was going, she just wanted it to be over. WHy tease myself with the though of winning?! I'm just going to die alone in the woods! No one will care! Poor Prim...Gale....Gale.....I'm sorry, I'm so sorry but you need to take care of Prim and my mom.....she though sadly as she raced down to the lake, ignoring the tears running down her face.

Cato heard footsteps and stood. "Be right back." he whispered to Clove. He then raced off, sword at the ready. He then slammed into Katniss. "Woah!" he bellowed in surprise, falling on his butt.

Clove chased after Cato, her eyes widening when she saw Katniss.

Katniss was knocked to the ground and she looked at Cato and she spat "Great! Just great!" there were tears running on her puffy swollen eyes and then she turned around and bounded away, deep into the woods.

Clove spat onto the ground angrily. "She's gone!"

Cato raised an eyebrow in confusion. "What in the world?" he whispered to himself. He stood and ran after her. "HEY, what's wrong?" he called.

Clove sprang after her brother.

Katniss looked at back and yelled "Get away from me! You just want to kill me!" then she shot up a tree and sat in the higher branches, quietly sniffling but holding back her tears.

Clove wavered slightly. "Kill you? But we have too! There's only one victor!"

Cato raised an eyebrow again. " Why are you crying?" he asked.

Katniss looked down and growled " Just go away! If theres only one winner which one of you is going home CLove??? You or Cato? Atleast you know you get to go home, live the life of ease while me family starves for decent food!" she growled bitterly and then she huddled up and silently cried because her family wasn't going to survive with out her, mom was to wrapped up in her makebelive world while Prim was too young and fragile.....my death is death for them too.....if only mom cared about Prim and I.....

Cato's eyebrow's creased. "Between me and Clove, Clove will be going home." he replied. "But, I refuse to kill you."

Clove snarled to her brother," Cato! This is a trick! Don't believe her! She's trying to distract us!"

Katniss pulled her legs up tighter and spat "Clove, I don't lie when I'm about to be killed by a ruethless crazy killer named Clove!" then she shaikly stood up, her tattered bloody body shaking and then she hissed " Leave me alone! I'd rather die alone in a ceve, bleeding to death!" then she was leaping from branch to branch.

Cato layed some medical supplies down next to a tree. "Alright. Treat yourself soon." he said, grabbing Clove's hand and leading her away.

Katniss leaped from ranch to branch looping back, they were gone. Katniss struggled down the tree to the medical suplies and with a sigh she gather them up and stuck them into her pack along with her bow before she headed down to the lake, praying they weren't there. KAtniss dropped to her knee's and grabbed a handful of cold water and ripped of part of her shirt to soak up her blood. Then she splashed some cold water onto her face then flopped down into a patch of Cattails that hide her comepletely and she fell to sleep.

"Cato! What were you doing? Helping someone who might kill us in the end!" Clove snarled in outrage.

Katniss heard her and then hissed quietly "They won't need to worry about me killing them....Ijust give up..." then she stood up and walked away from the lake.

Clove was fuming with rage. "We could have killed her and you helped her instead!"

Katniss sighed and cried in silent agony "What is going on here?! WHy am I not dead?! Why is Peeta dead?! WHY?!" then she limped into a tree where a boy stalked across the ground below her, no doubt going for CAto and Clove. Then she yanked her bow from her pack and shot him in the back, he screeched in agony for a long moment for he felll to the ground dead. KAtniss leaped to the ground and stole his pack and ripped out my arrow before his cannon boomed and echoed just like his scream and then she was charging through the woods.

Katniss leaped into a tree and lay where two branches met..soon the athem played to show who was dead...eight left now...
