Katniss sighed before she looked at Rue and siad "Well you're not much of a talker are you Rue?" then she peered over the edge, not being able to stop herself from worrying over Cato, she kept leaning over to make sure he wasn't hurt or bleeding to death. Then she thought Why should I care about that crazy murderer?! He's....he's....do I like Cato? Even though his crazy sister murdered my friend???!!

Rue gathered some berries and pressed them into Katniss's palms. "Here, eat these," she said as she popped one in her mouth.

Cato grinned triumphantly as he pulled out a needle and string. "This might hurt a little." he said. He started sewing her up. His belly growled. "Are you hungry,Clove?" he asked, wiping her wound clean.

Katniss shook her head and stared a the berries before asking "WHat are these? I've never seen them before...." then she noticed how Rue ate them and if they were posinous she wouldn't have aten them.

Clove gave him a good-natured jab in the ribs. "Of course!" she grinned.

Cato chuckled. "Let's see what grub we've got." He pulled out some beef jerky and bread.

Katniss sighed before she murmured to Rue "We better move before they find us!" she grabbed her pack and moved silently through the tree's.

Rue nodded, leaping silently through the trees.

Clove grinned. "We've got loads of food!"

Cato ripped open the jerky and immediatly started gobbling it down. He left half for Clove.

Clove grabbed the other half thankfully. Just then a cannon shot was heard and a picture of a boy from District 7 showed. She grinned. "9 more to go!"

Katniss grinned and looked at Rue and smiloed before she said " I might get killed for this..." then she stalked back over to where Clove and CAto were and she sent Pinecones raining down on them before she and RUe were sprinting away.

Cato flinched as his bare back was scraped by pinecones.

Clove shrieked, throwing a small sharp rock onto Katniss's head, knocking her out at the impact.

Katniss gave a sigh before she leaped fro branch to branch, her body torn and bloody but yet still as strong as ever. Then she leaped from a tree to a large oak, her hair glinted in the sun as she bounded after Rue.

Foxface sat in a tree, eating a small apple, her eyes narrow and she kept looking behind her.

Cato sighed. "We need to get headed toward the lake. The sun will be setting soon. He repacked their things and helped Clove up.

Katniss lead Rue down to a small stream and then growled "I wish this was over..." then she sighed "Rue, I take the first watch, hear, you can have my sleeping bag..." she dugg in her pack and yanked it out and gave it to Rue before she leaped into a tree to keep watch.

Cato stopped by a stream. "It's getting dark. Let's stay here for the night. Here's your sleeping bag. I'll keep watch." Cato said, handing Clove a plush black sleeping bag. He settled by the stream, staring across the water.

Rue nodded at Katniss gratefully." Thanks..." she whispered, snuggling into the sleeping bag.

Clove shook her head. "I'll stay watch too."

"No. Rest." Cato ordered, laying out the sleeping bag for her.

Clove replied," But you're injured!" She pointed at the gash in his leg where Katniss had shot an arrow through.

Katniss smiled from the tree watching the rosey sky vanish into a deep beautiful purple. Hmmm.....Cato and Clove hadn't made there move yet.....maybe she just might have a chance of winning...maybe....

Katniss sighed and though I wish they killed me....maybe then I wouldn't suffer in a long horrible death.....Why didn't CAto kill me?! I mean why?! WHy didn't he kill me???
