The Hunger Games Cats

Katniss growled at all of the Capitol cats. Her and Peeta had gotten in a fight, so she left him. She turned to Gale, and he said, "And you thought I was heartless." One of them got to close, and she clawed at her ear. The cat flinched and ran the other way. She screamed above all the crying, "You will pay!" Her claws dug into the rock, and made an ear-piercing nose. She could see a young kitten looking at her fearfully, and Katniss turned the other way. The kittens eyes looked all to familiar as to Peeta's when she told him her idea. Slits, bright blue, but full of fear, anger, and sorrow. A tear streamed down from her eye, and she remembered the betrayal and fear in Gale's beautiful gray eyes. But she knew she had to do it. She had sent Primrose and her Mother away, so they wouldn't get hurt.

As she opened her eyes again, she saw millions of cats around her, with unnatural fur colors from herbs and stuff related. Just the sight of them made her angry again. She would show Peeta and Gale. Suddenly, the slim, but muscular, black tom who goes by the name of Fravi padded up, and sat on the rock next to her. "Ah...Good to see you," Fravi smiled evilly. Katniss rolled her eyes, "Not to see you. When I look at you, my eyes burn." He snarled, and she just rolled her eyes again. Suddenly, on the TV screen they had stole from Upwalkers, was Gale. The shiny black-brown tom with beautiful gray eyes. Then they flashed Peeta. The golden tom with neon blue eyes. Katniss snarled, and watched their reactions as she yelled, "Let the 76th Hunger Games begin!"
