Shadowstorm's Peril

[I was reading Halt's Peril the book and I came up with this RPG!]

Shadowstorm slid furtively through the undergrowth. He was far away from the clan area in a forest and plain area. He was sent by Icestar to pursue assassins that had nearly infiltrated the ShadowClan camp. Shadowstorm trudged along in the forest. He heard a crack and whirled around. He saw a cat and the world went black.

Shadowstorm had not returned to camp in a week.

[So SAVE ME!!!!!]

[To any clan out there other than shadowclan, you can be the helping clan or the clan that tries...to uh, eat me. No, dragonclaw, you can't eat me again .]

Maybe AwesomeClan can help-we can see a lot of the area from out camp, she thought. So she turned and went to tell CheeseStar.

"What will WindClan do?" asked Tobi. "If we can get the help from WindClan we will surely be strong enough to fend off Monkeystar!"

Fernleaf sighed and waited impatiently for her leader. she had already decided. she wanted to go and help shadowstorm. But what would Lotus-star say? Crouching in front of the leader's den, she waited for Lotus-star to return from hunting patrol.

Brightstar gazed at her warriors. "Okay, we have 13 warrriors in RiverClan, including me..... 15, with Frostwing and Brindleflower. so far, WindClan and Spottedfern are neutral. 8 cats in shadowClan. AwesomeClan is also neutral. Hmmmmm. "

Monkeystar led his warriors into the Fortress. It had been a tough few days out on the harsh snowy mountain terrain. Luckily they had IceClan, who was familiar to the landscape, to guide them, else they would have lost their way and frozen to death. The Fortress was warm and Monkeystar would get his own bed at last. He told his warriors to drop Shadowstorm in the basement/dungeon. Then Monkeystar padded toward the castle interior where the bedding was. He would wait until the reinforcements arrived.

Hawkfire dropped Shadowstorm with a grunt. Adderfang grabbed the deputy's scruff and draggedd him away while Hawkfire choose comfortable nests for them both. Then, he found one for his mate next to him.

*I'm going to join RiverClan and co. This isn't right.*

Mistbreeze purred and curled up beside Hawkfire. It had been a tiring day.

"You have contacted Lotus-star?" asked Shuriken.

Sagedapple pawed at her leaf wrap. It was filled with herbs for wounds. She turned and dragged out the rest of the herbs in her store. "I'll need all of this, where ever we're going," she muttered. Lotus-star and Fernleaf had spent the day in the leaders's den, arguing, by the sound of it. Lotus-star had paused only to tell Sagedapple to prepare all the herbs.

Brightstar stretched and yawned. It was late afternoon, and she had just finished a nap. She poked her head out of her den, only to see Echosong and Ivystreak arguing. "I need all my herbs if we're going all the way to IceClan's fortress!" Echosong snapped. "No," Ivystreak argued. "You can pick some on the way to the snowy mountains!" "Mouse-brain! Then we'll still have to carry them and also risk the fact that there won't be the herbs I need and that we'll waste time!" Ivystreak stood her ground stubbornly. "You will find your herbs! I--" Brightstar stepped out of then and yowled, "Stop! Ivystreak, you will help Echosong do whatever she needs. But Echosong, don't take too much. There probably will be a little bit of fresh supplies as we journey....."

Blossomheart paced around the her fluffy nest. "I can't sleep," she announced. Cloudyfur (random warrior) yawned. "At least let me...." she mumbled, her voice muffled by her nest. "Who are we going to support?" Blossomheart continued, ignoring Cloudyfur's complaint. "Shadowstorm. You said that already," she meowed, lifting her muzzle so her words were clearer. Blossomheart shrugged. "CheeseStar hasn't decided yet (has she?) and I'm getting tired of waiting!"

Hazeldust heard Cloudyfur's complaint and Blossomheart's edginess.

"You know-we might stay neutral. We could just watch what happens-until one side is seriously disadvantaged and then we'll decide which side is innocent," Hazeldust mewed quietly. Other cats were still sleeping.

Stormshine muttered something in his sleep and twitched his ear near Hazeldust and Cloudyfur's stomach moved with her breathing. "And you're not to run off and join a side-it'll just make AwesomeClan look like traitors, and that'll complicate everything. We might go up and reason with ThunderClan, asking why he needs so much territory later on-but for now we're neutral."

Honeytounge, a loner from a far away land finally reached Shadowclan's border. He had traveled far to reach this place. This was where the star-pelted cats in his dreams had told him to go to.

"In a fortress made of Ice, under the Monkey's cruel vice.
One poisoined in the veins, short his life now remains.
Shadows rise and Rivers flood, before the Thunder spills blood.
Honey shall bring hope alone, in the Storm to come."

~okay okay i'm here! i wasn't posting her because i decided not to be a part of this RP... but i guess i don't have a choice. o.o~
"If the majority of cats want to support ShadowClan, we will head out tomorrow to the forest. ThunderClan will not take over my former Clan's territory," CheeseStar mewed. Most of the cats cheered at the sound of an Awesome-Shadow alliance. "All right then, it's official," CheeseStar announced. " AwesomeClan will side with ShadowClan and RiverClan."

"So this is where my destiny lays", Honeytounge thought out loud. "Well, whatever fate awaits me, I'll do my best to be ready for it. [sighs heavily] I just wish I could be doing this with somone else, then at least I wouldn't be talking to myself."

He began to sense his surroundings. Something was about to happen. It reminded him of the first night of the rainy season (after a long hot dry season) back home.

"A storm is definitely about to come, but of a different kind."

[Dang this RP has progressed... wow I'm in really bad shape D: ]

Shadowstorm awoke. He could barely make out his surroundings. He was somewhere dark and it was cold. He sensed food next to him but he could barely eat. His eyelids grew heavy again and he fell back into darkness.

Brightstar glanced down at her cats from her perch on the oak tree. "Patrols will go on as normal," she declared, "until ShadowClan wants to make their move. Nightfrost, you organize the patrols, but I would also like to bring a patrol to ShadowClan's borders, to see if Icestar is ready." Wrapping her tail around her paws, she went on, "I'll bring Rainsplash, Cowboy, and Willowpool." Finished, Brightstar leaped down the tree, rounded up her patrol, and raced for the ShadowClan border.

"I smell cat." Cowboy announced, as the neared the ShadowClan border. "But it's not shadowClan." Brightstar narrowed her eyes, then let out a snort of surprise. "It's Honeytounge, but what is he doing here?"

Runningfire shook out fur in the early dawn light. Fernleaf had returned to the warriors den after a whole afternoon in Lotus-star's den, disgruntled and irritable. Early this morning, Lotus-star had called out her deputy once more. Runningfire frowned. What was happening? Were they going to do anything against or with Monleystar?

FireClan will oppose ThunderClan and the fierce IceClan.....

CheeseStar led her team of cats down to the ShadowClan border, and they met up with a RiverClan patrol. "We've decided to side with you," CheeseStar announced. "Monkeystar is at a huge disadvantage because of the four Clans that are opposing him."
Altogether, the cats set out for ShadowClan's camp. When they reached the entrance, they were greeted by a tense atmosphere. An apprentice, probably to Crystaldance, slid past the cats with a bundle of herbs.

Darkstar shook out her fur, then glanced at Flamewing, her deputy. (Just temporary) "Did Sundapple (also temporary) bring all her herbs? If she has, we can leave for ShadowClan territory."

Umm we are here but what do we do now. I think they are almost through with there plan.

Sundapple? Snowdapple's cousin who also pursued medincine cat-ting? just imagining that makes me think of doubles. and watershred, you'll find out what to do. that was a wasted post. we obviously can't do anything without Icestar's opinion and approval. so yeah....
