Shadowstorm's Peril

First topic message reminder :

[I was reading Halt's Peril the book and I came up with this RPG!]

Shadowstorm slid furtively through the undergrowth. He was far away from the clan area in a forest and plain area. He was sent by Icestar to pursue assassins that had nearly infiltrated the ShadowClan camp. Shadowstorm trudged along in the forest. He heard a crack and whirled around. He saw a cat and the world went black.

Shadowstorm had not returned to camp in a week.

[So SAVE ME!!!!!]

[To any clan out there other than shadowclan, you can be the helping clan or the clan that tries...to uh, eat me. No, dragonclaw, you can't eat me again .]

"Yeah, scaring her off won't do any good," Hazeldust mused. "Maybe we should hide or something, and Tobi should go alone first. After all, she only told him to meet her again. Maybe you could try and, uh, let her know that we're there and ask her if she'd mind talking to us. Then, depending on how she reacts, we can talk to her. I don't think we'll have another chance like this-it would be too noticeable, Lotus-star slipping away three times in a row, and we can't risk waiting for another time."

Fireheart was watching from the mountains to the forest. He had so many thoughts on his mind, he couldn't help to not think about them. Then he felt a shiver go up his entire body. It would make sense if he shivered because he was in the mountains but this shiver didn't feel as if it occurred because he was cold but because he felt a strange and horrible presence and that something will go wrong. He wanted to know more but he couldn't think straight at this point.

Hazeldust shrugged. "Tobi said she told him to meet her at the same time today. But I think he should go alone first, so we don't look threatening as a whole group. Three or four cats would be enough, won't it?"

It was afternoon again. Lotus-star slipped out of the castle quietly. She went for the direction where Tobi had met her yesterday.

Hawkfire yawned and blinked sleepily at Ninecloud. "Is it time for scouting patrol already?" he asked. "Yes, mouse-brain! Wake up and we can get a move on. Beechpaw's already waiting," Ninecloud hissed, and hopped out of Hawkfire's nest. Hawkfire shook out his fur and clambered out of the moss, wincing as his paws scraped the hard floor. Even after days of scrambling over the cold stone ground, running in frozen snow so cold that he couldn't even feel the pain of the scrapes on his paws after a day of patroling. Hawkfire groaned. "This is going to be a long day."

Fireheart was already awake and outside noticing every cat was moving and doing their duties. Hopefully there won't be any problems today Fireheart thought as he made sure no cat was being lazy.

Sagedapple padded over to him, dock leaves clamped in her jaws. Settling down beside the ThunderClan deputy, she spat out the wide leaves and asked, "Are your paws sore? I have herbs that'll soothe them." She nodded at the dock.

Fireheart was happy to see Sagedapple. "They are actually. I've been up walking around like crazy, this will help, thank you." Fireheart replied as he used herbs.

"No problem," Sagedapple meowed. "Lots of cats have been complaining about sore pads yesterday, so I decided to pass out dock leaves today." She sighed. "I'll have to ask Icewing or Shuriken about herbs. I'm running out on stuff for coughs and sore pads." Wrinkling her nose, she added, "Though, I don't know what herbs will grow up here." With a heavy sigh, Sagedapple picked up the rest of the leaves and bounded away toward a knot of WindClan and ThunderClan warriors.

Fireheart was thankful and knew Sagedapple was right. Every cat here is getting weaker just being up here. He ran towards Sagedapple before he lost sight of her. "Sagedapple, why we go down the mountain today and get more herbs. I'll tag along so we don't run out of anything and we can be prepared." Fireheart asked her.

Mistbreeze sighed. ThunderClan warriors weren't known for their thick coats, and it was freezing up in the mountains. The WindClan warriors had the thinnest coats of all four Clans, so she knew they'd be suffering the worst. "RiverClan would be most used to this weather," Mistbreeze muttered, remembering with envy of Stormclaw's and Nightfrost's thick pelts.

Sagedapple eyed him thoughtfully. "Alright," she agreed. "Tell Monkeystar. (you can pretend!) And let me just give these herbs to Berrypaw, my apprentice." Sagedapple hurried away, bounding into another looming room in the Abandoned Fortress.

Fireheart was happy she agreed. So he padded off toward Monkeystar but he seemed busy with other warriors so he went to Mistbreeze. "Hey, Mistbreeze, Monkeystar looks busy with other warriors, so if you could when he isn't busy, tell him that I am going with Sagedapple to gather up more herbs. That would be appreciated, Thanks!" Fireheart said and padded off with hearing Mistbreeze's answer.

Darkstar camped with the rest of the Clans at the base of the mountain, hidden cleverly away into a clearing deep in the forest. She yawned, and tucked her nose under her tail. "Better get some sleep," she muttered.

Sagedapple bounded back to Fireheart, tail twitching. "Ready," she meowed. A big leaf wrap was slung onto her back. She had tied vines to the sides, so she could drag it along, since the wrap was too big to carry in a cat's jaws. Super Happy

Sagedapple padded out on to the snow. "Only snow leopards, snow tigers, rabbits, and other weird creatures are meant to live in this weather," she grumbled. "How do IceClan put up with this snow? Icewing said it stays cold and snowy-- icy too!-- all year-round." Shaking her head, Sagedapple picked up the pace.
