Shadowstorm's Peril

[I was reading Halt's Peril the book and I came up with this RPG!]

Shadowstorm slid furtively through the undergrowth. He was far away from the clan area in a forest and plain area. He was sent by Icestar to pursue assassins that had nearly infiltrated the ShadowClan camp. Shadowstorm trudged along in the forest. He heard a crack and whirled around. He saw a cat and the world went black.

Shadowstorm had not returned to camp in a week.

[So SAVE ME!!!!!]

[To any clan out there other than shadowclan, you can be the helping clan or the clan that tries...to uh, eat me. No, dragonclaw, you can't eat me again .]

Pain dragged the muscular gray cat along. His pace was slowed by the heaviness of the cat, but Pain was still able to make good progress. He glanced at the wound at Shadowstorm's head. Blood flow was minimal. An inexperienced eye could see that it posed no danger if carefully treated. But no. Pain extended a claw. The poison glittered on his paw. The gray cat would have a few weeks at the most to live.

<The poison is called acadiciel. There are two types, from two different flowers, the white acadia and the purple acadia. There are two different rare antidotes that can be used to heal. However, use the wrong one antidote for the wrong flower and the result is death that can't be mitigated.> [This RPG is going to be fun!]

Brightstar led her patrol along the ShadowClan border, jaws open, tasting the air. *hint, hint, Icestar*

(ThunderClan = antagonists)

Monkeystar watched Pain return to the makeshift camp. They had captured the ShadowClan deputy at last. This would be the start of power, and Monkeystar would soon rule the forest.

Tobi was worried. He had not seen his best buddy for a long long time. Tobi hurries to Icestar. What do we do?

Brightstar frowned and sat down. "Nightfrost." The RiverClan leader summoned her deputy with a flick of her tail. "Don't you think it's odd that the ShadowClan's markers smell of fear and worry?"

Darkfire sneered. thunderclan would avenge their defeat at last!!!

Watershred followed riverclan with her deputy bieng very silent

"You're right, Brightstar,' Nightfrost nodded. "I believe that soemthing has happened.... should we go ask Iccestar? or would that be promoting an attack?"

Brightstar frowned. "Icestar is oru friend and ally. She helped us in the past. We could at least bring a few cats to see what's wrong." She turned and flicked her tail. "Echosong, you come with me. ShadowClan knows that battle patrols don't have medicine cats in them. Nightfrost, you come with Stormclaw. That'll be enough..... unless you think otherwise?"

"I think its fine. Should I go get Stormclaw and Echosong?"

"Yes. As soon as you're ready, we'll leave," Brightstar ordered. She turned to Willowpool. "You lead the rest of the patrol home and guard the camp. Aspenfern will be in charge of camp while we're gone."

~Meanwhile, far away...~

Shadowstorm awoke. He was in a dark place. Ninecloud looked down at him. Ninecloud prodded Shadowstorm. The ShadowClan deputy did not move. "Pain's poisoned him good," muttered Ninecloud. He lashed his tail. ThunderClan had not forgotten their defeat at Sunningrocks. Monkeystar now had his eyes on the entire ShadowClan territory.

Brightstar, Nightfrost, Echosong, and Stormclaw padded into ShadowClan territory, slipping around the dark pines. "Almost at camp," Brightstar meowed.

Rainsplash paced around the camp. Would ShadowClan attack the tiny patrol?

Darkflower sat patiently at the bramble entrance, guarding the camp. But what she really wanted to do was to help her Clanmates find Shadowstorm, the ShadowClan deputy.

Starclaw was worried about his brother. Monkeystar would soon try to take over the entire forest... bum bum bum!

finally they reached the ShadowClan camp. as they padded inside, they could smell the fear of all the cats. What could be wrong? thought Nightfrost. no cat tried to stop them.

Watersred watched above in the floating clouds and saw what Ninecloud and Monkeystar were doing with the shadow clan deputy. She had promised all the clans that if one of their warriors were in danger she would tell them. She could not hear what Monkeystar was saying but she new it was not to help Shadowstorm and with her guess Iceclan and Thunderclan have teamed up. She went to the edge of the cloud and jumped of landing on the ground she ran to go tell Icestar when Monkeystar had almost caught her until she jumped on a cloud and decided to ride the cloud to the Shadowlan camp.

Hazeldust had been padding around the AwesomeClan camp when she saw Watershred get chased by Monkeystar and jump on a cloud, trying to steer it towards ShadowClan camp. She had realized that something was wrong with ShadowClan, and was going to ask CheeseStar to go down and investigate, but now Watershred just complicated things.

"What are you doing?!" She hissed towards Watershred, hoping she could hear. Clouds don't have minds, and they can't be steered unless StarClan helps out. A storm was brewing (I guess) and the wind was pushing Watershred into the vague direction of ShadowClan. "You can't just run out of camp on a cloud! It might evaporate-it's a small cloud! And we never use clouds to our advantage-we hunt and fight on land!"

I don't want to be hurt by Monkeystar and I was just about to get of and ask CheeseStar If I could go and take you. So can you go Ask CheeseStar for me because your closer. There I'm of the cloud I saw Monkeystar Hurting Shadowstorm and i promised all the other clans that if anything happend i wold tell them come on lets go.Watershred jumped of the cloud on to the ground looking out for Monkeystar.

((Gosh darn it! Shadowstorm!!))
Icestar started nervously pacing. She had sent Shadowstorm to investigate strange scents on the territory, and he hadnt returned for seven sunrises. Tobi was clearly concerned for his friend. Without a deputy, ShadowClan could fall apart. "Tobi." Icestar called. "Would you like to orginize a search patrol for Shadowstorm?"

((The search patrol can meet up with the RiverClan patrol))

[story picks up where TW3 left off]

A quick summary for anyone who didn't know TW2 or Territory War 1:
[i]RiverClan takes over Sunningrocks. ThunderClan Leader Monkeystar makes a daring invasion during the night and takes Sunningrocks. During a storm and the following flood, Max the killer whale moves the rocks from the ThunderClan side to RiverClan's. Monkeystar responds by invading RiverClan territory. ShadowClan and RiverClan become allies. Meanwhile, an elusive stalker and killer roams through the forest, killing and watching. It turns out to be Pain from IceClan. ThunderClan offers IceClan payment, and they become allies. However, RiverClan leader Brightstar gives IceClan a better offer. IceClan allies with ShadowClan and RiverClan. Monkeystar retreats against the onslaught of three clans. WindClan remains neutral.

Now:
AwesomeClan is newly formed. By some means, they live in the clouds above. They cannot travel on clouds. Monkeystar and IceClan have new alliance. Monkeystar plots to take over the forest. Monkeystar captures the ShadowClan deputy to weaken ShadowClan and lure the cats.

Brightstar padded quickyl toward Icestar. "Icestar! What's happening?" Cowboy had joined them at some point during their journey, and now, he was bounding toward Tobi in concern for his friend. All of a sudden, he stopped. "Shadowstorm's scent is stale!" he announced, puzzled. "Where has he gone?"

Monkeystar returned to his makeshift den in the dark forest. He had hidden here with some of his elite warriors. The others guarded the camp. He looked down at the deputy. His condition was no better. He was being fed minimal food after all.

Monkeystar waited until most of the warriors had fallen asleep. Shadowstorm continued with his unintelligble sounds - he was now incapable of speech. Monkeystar ate a berry. He would wait until the other clans made their move. Meanwhile, the IceClan peeps would patrol the forest to keep eyes on enemy activity. However, Monkeystar was worried about AwesomeClan. They had aerial advantage. He would need to get somebody to disable them
