Role Play Plot & Background Information:

Background: Many moons ago, there was a drought that plagued the territories. All of the clans were suffering from the lack of water, including the members of Riverclan that usually thrived in year round with their supply of fish from the rivers. Over time, it became warmer and warmer until Thunderclan's territory became engulfed in a massive fire that destroyed their home and devastated the last of their food supplies. For a short period of time, the other clans helped Thunderclan by supplying them with whatever food and herbs they could spare, but as more time passed, the other clans were no longer able to support Thunderclan's needs. In one final effort to save the remaining members of her clan, their leader led them away from the territories to find a new home where they could thrive.

Plot: Not long after Thunderclan fled their territory, Riverclan's members began falling victim to a mysterious illness that they have not seem before. After losing several elders, kits and an apprentice, Streamstar hears a rumor at a gathering about how Thunderclan has left their territory and may have a herb that could save Riverclan from this illness. Now they are facing a badger infestation and they don't have enough healthy warriors to take on both tasks alone. Finally it is announced that Riverclan will set off in search of Thunderclan in hopes of gaining their help in saving Riverclan.

Personality: She is a highly rational warrior with a relatively calm demeanor or personality. Snowstar is sometimes very competitive, but she knows when to draw the line. She is incredibly understanding and compassionate with her clan mates, and those who are close to her. She is naturally very humble with a fierce loyalty to whatever she considers her own or to her friends.
Appearance/Picture: Snowstar is an average size, short haired she-cat. Her pelt is a mottled chocolate color resulting in large chocolate spots that are outlined in a soft cream color. This pattern continues down her back and the majority of her flank, while the remainder of her legs, underbelly, chest and muzzle are white. Her ears are white ticked and she has no tabby markings. Her eyes are a deep blue with a large portion or green intertwining itself within, causing them to come out as a pretty teal color. She has a soft pink nose and long whiskers; as we'll as small paws and a long tail in proportion to her body. Her claws are razor sharp but the sharks teeth were abandoned when she decided to leave Iceclan.

Personality: Swiftstorm is very reserved and suspicious of those whom he isn't familiar with. He is very wary of around outsiders, but he will not show any fear or hesitation outwardly. He is independent though is willing to help others out if need be and is borderline, overly outspoken around his clan mates. Despite the front he prefers to put up around others, those who know him best would say he is very dependable and loyal to those close to him and Thunderclan.
Appearance/Picture: Swiftstorm is a largely built, muscular tom. He is well above average size with a thick, medium-length grey coat covered in slightly darker grey tabby markings, particularly around the face and legs. His eyes are a piercing yellow and his claws are razor sharp. The name come from his natural agility and the color of his pelt which seemed to mimic the color of the cloud before a storm would strike. He is a skilled hunter and fighter but is not known to be the most graceful jumper or climber.

Personality: Roseleaf is a very determined warrior and has a persistence that is not easily matched. If there is something she wants, she will go after it without any hesitation. It takes a while for this feisty she-cat to warm up to others, but once she does her loyalty will not be broken easily. Naturally, she is very timid and quiet around those she doesn't know well or hasn't met before. The only known exception is Bluenose, who she still has trouble speaking to at times when a situation doesn't necessarily demand it. Once Roseleaf is close to someone though, she becomes very open and affectionate. Her biggest flaw is that she hates to be ordered around and being told what to do.
Appearance/Picture: Roseleaf is an average sized, petite, short-haired, she-cat. Her pelt is silky and in general is a light brown, but when she is in the sunlight and it hits it, it will appear to turn red. Her whole body is covered in black and dark brown tabby markings that give her the traditional "wild cat" appearance. Her pelt fades to a soft white around her chest and muzzle and her eyes are a captivating green that tends to draw a lot of extra attention. All of the major features on her face and flank are outlined or accented by her tabby markings givine her a very unique appearance.

Roseleaf:

"Of course Snowstar." Bluenose mewed, bowing his head to her before padding off to a shady spot near the medicine cat den. He hadn't quite realized how tiring walking the new territory had been, and plopped down with a soft thud. I'm out of shape. I remember I could trek all the way across SnowClan territory and back without getting too tired, and we had a larger territory than this, covered in hills, cliffs, gorges, and forests. I must be getting used to the smaller territories of the other clans. he thought as he examined his pads. Bluenose was thankful that he had rough pads rather than the soft pads that most ThunderClan cats had, though it seemed that the soft mud of this rainforest stuck to his rough pads more from what he had observed. Bluenose began casually cleaning the mud from his pads, thankful for the lemur he had half eaten earlier, as it looked like it would be some time before they had a proper fresh-kill pile.

Lightningstorm sighed, exhausted once they reached camp. This was just great. When her Clan needed her the most, she was injured. I'm such an idiot. she thought, flexing her claws and glaring at them. Her leg had numbed a while back, exhaustion taking over and making her feel like some sort of zombie. I suppose it's from the blood loss. With that, she shuffled toward the medicine cat's den as to not hinder the cats working on the warrior's den and collapsed into a nest. Nothing mattered but sleep right now, the edges of her vision blurring. "Ugh, stupid snake." she mumbled and fell asleep.

Hurricanepaw had been helping reinforce the dens alongside Snowstar when she overheard about Lightningstorm. "A snake bit her? Is she okay? Man, that must of hurt!" The pale gray she-cat's green eyes glittered with excitement and a hint of worry for her Clanmate. Looking to Snowstar the apprentice grinned. "I'm gonna go see what it looks like, that okay?" the young she-cat was curious, she'd never seen a snake close up before.

Personality: She is a vivacious, passionate type, strong-willed and independent. While she will listen to orders from those higher in rank than her at first, Tawnyflower will deviate onto her own agenda more often than not. She is generally a loyal, compassionate friend, always quick to defend you even if you have done something wrong. As a warrior, she is hard-working and competitive, optimistic even in the worst of times.
Appearance/Picture: Tawnyflower is a well built and thick-furred she-cat. Her fur is a reddish-brown color, essentially a "dark ginger," and striped with smudged, brown tabby markings. They are particularly dark on the head, but more faint around the shoulders and the legs. Her muzzle, chest, inner ear, and underbelly are dusty white, and her nose is a dark pink, outlined with black. Her eyes are wide-set and a dark, olive green. She is slightly larger than the average, with long legs and wide paws.

Redleaf saw Lightningstorm go into the warriors den and sighed. She walked in there and smiled, "Lightningstorm, let me treat that snake bite. We don't want it to get infected, do we? Get up and lean on me for support if you need to."

And Shimmerpaw, so far the main plot background is n the topic starter post right under the banner to get an idea of what the rp is about overall, if you have not already read that. As for what's is going on in the rp, there has already been a hunting and border patrol. When Lightningstorm was on the hunting patrol she was attacked by a snake and Roseleaf and Bluenose took her back to camp while Thunderstrike, Ghostfur, Swiftstorm and Milkypaw finish the border patrol.~

Nightwing comes in to make sure lightningstorm is ok. he has a worried look on his face, "lightningstorm are you ok? I heard you got a snakebite and I rushed as fast as I could down here." he watches her and redleaf.

Lightningstorm lifted her head from sleep at the sound of two cats speaking to her. Dipping her head to Redleaf, she untucked her tender paw and offered it to her so she could work on it. "Alright, thank you Redleaf. You wouldn't believe how calm and collected Bluenose was about the whole thing. It's a shame he isn't your apprentice or helper of some sort." Then looking at Nightwing, the large she-cat laughed at his worried expression. "Hello, Nightwing. I'm fine, just a little tired from the walk back. Shoulda heard the ruckus we made killing the stupid thing. It's in the prey pile if you want a look. I'm sure as StarClan shines am not eating the vile beast though." a look of hatred crossed her features at the mention of the snake. Now she wasn't as much afraid of them as she was disgusted. No animal has a right to have such sharp teeth.... Lightningstorm thought with a shiver.

Roseleaf headed back towards the medicine cat den when she was cut off by Nightwing. She stopped and watch the two chat for a moment before deciding not to enter the den and sit near the edge of the clearing instead. She began grooming her pelt once again, slowly returning it to its former glossy sheen. Her body was still exhausted but with no food to replenish her energy, rest and sleep alone would have to do it for her. Hopefully Lightningstorm's wounds heal up alright... And soon. What's with Nightwing's sudden interest in her injury?... she thought curiously as she glanced at the medicine den entrance. Slowly her eyes shifted towards Bluenose.

"I guess Bluenose put cobwebs on it." Redleaf asked, starting to chew some horsetail into a poultice. She finished and got it on her paw, and started to rub it onto the snakebite.

"Does the bite sting? I know where I can get some honey if it does." she smiled.

Lightningstorm winced as the poultice soaked into her bite. It was like a large bee had poked her with its stinger, but she simply winced a bit, trying not to lose face in front of her Clanmates. "I'll be fine, only stings a bit, but I guess it's supposed to."

"I'll just give you poppy seeds, okay?" Redleaf smiled, pushing the seeds towards her, "Are you hungry? I'll get us both some fresh kill." Her stomach growled as she was talking, and she looked at Lightningstorm for a response.

Nightwing looks at lightningstorm and smiles shyly, "that beast was a big one, you are a brave cat to take on that beast" he says with a smile and looking at her sharp eyes.

Shimmerpaw walked over to the medicine den and stuck her head in. "Hello? Redleaf, is Lightningstorm alright?" She asked. She was worried about the older she-cat, hoping that she would be alright. "Sorry to be a bother," She shuffled her paws nervously, hoping that the medicine cat wouldn't be annoyed by her presence.

"Ah, I'm pretty sure I can go without a meal. The Clan needs to eat first. Seeing as I caught nothing on the short hunt and only achieved bringing my patrol back, I deserve nothing." Laying her head on her paws, Lightningstorm grimaced at Nightwing's words. "It was all Roseleaf and Bluenose, I was the one trembling off to the side." a bitter chuckle left her maw at that. " So, I also don't deserve your kind words."

Once Shimmerpaw entered Hurricanepaw was right behind her, green eyes wide. "Hey, Lightning! You alright?" The silvery tabby looked excited and ready to hear every detail of the warrior's side of the story.

Lightningstorm lifted her head again to grin at the apprentices. "Hey there Shimmerpaw and Hurricanepaw. I'm perfectly fine. I don't think the snake was venomous."

(Can Shimmerpaw and Redleaf be friends? c:)

"Lightningstorm, if it was venomous, you'd be dead by now." Redleaf sighed, "And you do deserve fresh kill, you need to eat. Could one of you two get her some fresh kill? I need to watch her."

"Oh, right...that is true." Lightningstorm chuckled, embarrassed. When Redleaf insisted she eat, the warrior frowned. "What? No, I'm not hungry! There're others who need it more than I do, Redleaf. Give it to Roseleaf, she hasn't eaten all day and she's smaller than me as well as uninjured and actually did something right." The stubborn look in her eyes surfaced like always when she wasn't planning to budge. The dusty brown tabby would rather starve than be a fool and selfish glutton all in one day.

After watching Swiftstorm go, Milkypaw sniffed the air, smelling the different scents. There were many scents she wasn't familiar with. Milkypaw sniffed a little harder, taking in all the unfamiliar scents. "There's many scents I'm not familiar with, but there are a few that I'm familiar with too. I do smell water.......lots of it, and plenty of fresh leaves and many plants. There's many creatures I don't know the scent of, but there's a few I am familiar with....." Milkypaw looked up at Ghostfur.

Flamepaw padded into the clearing. She noticed the fresh-kill pile was well-stocked. She took a vole and trotted into the apprentices' den. When she finished, she stood up and stretched. Flamepaw was a heavy sleeper. She padded into the warriors' den. "Rogueblossom! Wherever you are, can we go training?" she yowled.

~I'm not sure what is going on exactly. I have seen her online and the registered on the topic but she has not posted since. If you would like to pm her about it you're welcome to do so but if I do not see some activity from her soon, I will remove her from the topic and we will assign you a new mentor for it. sound okay?~
