Role Play Plot & Background Information:

Background: Many moons ago, there was a drought that plagued the territories. All of the clans were suffering from the lack of water, including the members of Riverclan that usually thrived in year round with their supply of fish from the rivers. Over time, it became warmer and warmer until Thunderclan's territory became engulfed in a massive fire that destroyed their home and devastated the last of their food supplies. For a short period of time, the other clans helped Thunderclan by supplying them with whatever food and herbs they could spare, but as more time passed, the other clans were no longer able to support Thunderclan's needs. In one final effort to save the remaining members of her clan, their leader led them away from the territories to find a new home where they could thrive.

Plot: Not long after Thunderclan fled their territory, Riverclan's members began falling victim to a mysterious illness that they have not seem before. After losing several elders, kits and an apprentice, Streamstar hears a rumor at a gathering about how Thunderclan has left their territory and may have a herb that could save Riverclan from this illness. Now they are facing a badger infestation and they don't have enough healthy warriors to take on both tasks alone. Finally it is announced that Riverclan will set off in search of Thunderclan in hopes of gaining their help in saving Riverclan.

Personality: She is a highly rational warrior with a relatively calm demeanor or personality. Snowstar is sometimes very competitive, but she knows when to draw the line. She is incredibly understanding and compassionate with her clan mates, and those who are close to her. She is naturally very humble with a fierce loyalty to whatever she considers her own or to her friends.
Appearance/Picture: Snowstar is an average size, short haired she-cat. Her pelt is a mottled chocolate color resulting in large chocolate spots that are outlined in a soft cream color. This pattern continues down her back and the majority of her flank, while the remainder of her legs, underbelly, chest and muzzle are white. Her ears are white ticked and she has no tabby markings. Her eyes are a deep blue with a large portion or green intertwining itself within, causing them to come out as a pretty teal color. She has a soft pink nose and long whiskers; as we'll as small paws and a long tail in proportion to her body. Her claws are razor sharp but the sharks teeth were abandoned when she decided to leave Iceclan.

Personality: Swiftstorm is very reserved and suspicious of those whom he isn't familiar with. He is very wary of around outsiders, but he will not show any fear or hesitation outwardly. He is independent though is willing to help others out if need be and is borderline, overly outspoken around his clan mates. Despite the front he prefers to put up around others, those who know him best would say he is very dependable and loyal to those close to him and Thunderclan.
Appearance/Picture: Swiftstorm is a largely built, muscular tom. He is well above average size with a thick, medium-length grey coat covered in slightly darker grey tabby markings, particularly around the face and legs. His eyes are a piercing yellow and his claws are razor sharp. The name come from his natural agility and the color of his pelt which seemed to mimic the color of the cloud before a storm would strike. He is a skilled hunter and fighter but is not known to be the most graceful jumper or climber.

Personality: Roseleaf is a very determined warrior and has a persistence that is not easily matched. If there is something she wants, she will go after it without any hesitation. It takes a while for this feisty she-cat to warm up to others, but once she does her loyalty will not be broken easily. Naturally, she is very timid and quiet around those she doesn't know well or hasn't met before. The only known exception is Bluenose, who she still has trouble speaking to at times when a situation doesn't necessarily demand it. Once Roseleaf is close to someone though, she becomes very open and affectionate. Her biggest flaw is that she hates to be ordered around and being told what to do.
Appearance/Picture: Roseleaf is an average sized, petite, short-haired, she-cat. Her pelt is silky and in general is a light brown, but when she is in the sunlight and it hits it, it will appear to turn red. Her whole body is covered in black and dark brown tabby markings that give her the traditional "wild cat" appearance. Her pelt fades to a soft white around her chest and muzzle and her eyes are a captivating green that tends to draw a lot of extra attention. All of the major features on her face and flank are outlined or accented by her tabby markings givine her a very unique appearance.

Roseleaf:

She stared the tom down with her icy blue gaze, weighing it her options. Her tail flicked back and forth as she recalled his stories and tried to plan her way through the patrols. After several heartbeats, she responded with a single nod, then pointed towards the warriors den. "But I will not allow anyone to travel alone in this forest until we know for sure what's out there. You should take another warrior of two with you. Perhaps even an apprentice."

Milkypaw tossed and turned in her sleep. She had been dreaming about the fire and the territory she had once known before as home. Suddenly, Milkypaw awoke, startled. She sniffed the air, taking in all the different and unfamiliar scents. She quickly groomed her ruffled fur and trotted outside and looked at the new thick forest before going to greet Snowstar and Ghostfur. Its....so different! U see so many new plants that I haven't seen before.....and it's so thick....She quickly snapped out of the thought and trotted over to Ghostfur and Snowstar."Good morning!"

Snowstar looked over at her apprentice. "Greetings. I was just telling Ghostfur that we needed to find others to do the patrol with him. Are you ready to leave the camp for a patrol without me?" She eyed up the apprentice who had already grown quite a lot since she first reached her 6 moons. You've grown a lot since those first days. You're certainly not as shy but this will be a big task. She looked between the two cats wondering how this would go.

Personality: Bluenose is generally caring and compassionate towards other cats, as he was once a medicine cat for the rogue clan Ghostfur used to lead. He has a bit of a competitive streak, especially with Ghostfur since they're littermates, and is always curious about places he hasn't been.
Appearance/Picture: A blue-gray tom with amber eyes and a scar near his left eye. Even so long after he served as a medicine cat, the smell of healing herbs is still ingrained in his fur.
~Could Bluenose also serve as a sort of advisor for Redleaf, since he is more familiar with herbs outside the old territory, though he'll still do warrior duties?~

"Yes Snowstar, of course. I'll see if Swiftstorm and Bluenose[?] will come with. And, maybe I could take Milkypaw?" Ghostfur asked Snowstar. Right after he asked that, Ghostfur heard Milkypaw greet them from behind and he turned to face the apprentice. "Good morning Milkypaw." he said as the apprentice approached.

Personality: She is unerringly loyal to her friends and Clanmates, stubborn in her beliefs. She is easy to irritate, and hard to appease, although she can also be reasonable. It can be easily seen that she can lose her temper quickly at certain circumstances. Ever since becoming an elder she has gotten slightly more pessimistic and restless at all times, sour and extremely grumpy, although her sharp tongue nor her humor has worn out in the least.
Appearance/Picture: A short-haired silver-platinum tabby she-cat with brilliant green eyes speckled with gold. She has a lean build and long legs, and inky-black tabby markings stripe her entire body.

Snowstar nodded her agreement. "It would be a good experience for Milkypaw to have. Especially since we can't be sure what's out there yet." She paused to look at the small she-cat before continuing on. "Milkypaw, do you think you can keep up with everything? There will be a lot to report back once you return."

"Maplestream, your paw is in my face." Brightshadow batted the paw away and rolled over, still unwilling to get up from her comfy nest of moss and reeds. She could tell it was still early though, maybe dawn. Sunlight always soaked through the opening of the den when it was daytime, but there was nothing now. She yawned widely and rolled again, until she was sprawled on her stomach with her forelegs hanging half off the nest.

Maplestream lazily let her paw drag on her sister's fur before rolling over and sitting up. She yawned and opened an eye to stare at Brightshadow. "You look like a dead turtle," she commented on Brightshadow's sprawled posture. She stepped out of her nest and stretched [old ladies with arthritis], then poked her head out of the den to see what was going on at camp.

Milkypaw's eyes lit up with excitement. "I will do my best to keep up with everything!" Milkypaw nodded in appreciation to Snowstar. Milkypaw almost seemed to be quivering from the excitement and adrenaline.

While Snowstar talked with her apprentice, Ghostfur padded back toward the warrior's den. Poking his head inside, he found Bluenose laying near where he had slept and went over to wake him. "Get up you lump. Just because you don't have your old job means you can sleep all day, you're coming on the dawn patrol." Ghostfur said as he prodded his brother awake. "Eh, wha? I'm up, I'm up!" Bluenose mumbled as he climbed out of his nest. Ghostfr left his brother to find Swiftstorm. He spotted Swiftstorm's gray pelt toward the center of the den and carefully padded over, trying not to step on any cat's tail. "Swiftstorm, get up. You're on the dawn patrol." Ghostfur said as he prodded Swiftstorm to wake him.

Personality: Lightningstorm is a stubborn, opinionated she-cat. She never hesitates to speak her mind and always has a way of persuading others that her plans will work. While she is a natural born fighter with a sharp temper and even sharper tongue, she is also a great strategist. Lightningstorm's thought process is fast and practical, usually noticing things others usually take a while to notice. Her advice is usually pretty sound.
Appearance/Picture: This she-cat is definitely not a delicate flower of any sort. With a large, unusually broad build and thick fur to add to her massive size, she is obviously a force to be reckoned with. Because of heavy Maine coon genes inherited from her kittypet-made-loner parents, she is also long-legged and muscular. Even with her being so sturdy though, Lightningstorm still has a beauty to her. She's got this power to her that seems to attract others along with those determined golden eyes that seem to see more than they're supposed to of your thoughts. (Basically my profile pic xD)

Snowstar simply dipped her head and flicked her tail, to tell her apprentice she was free to follow Ghostfur to the warriors den.

Swiftstorm jolted awake and blinked the sleep out of his eyes. The large tom stood up and shook the dust and debris of undergrowth that cling to the side of his flank. The sunlight barely leaked through the gaps in the leaves as he tried to clear his vision and adjust to the light. "When are we leaving?"

He me we'd in husky voice that he tried to keep quiet so he didn't wake the others, though that didn't play out as planned and Roseleaf stood quietly and began grooming her pelt before giving him a glare through narrowed eyes. "Could you be any louder?"

Lightningstorm woke up to the sound of Swiftstorm and Roseleaf. The massive she-cat sat up slowly, careful to be quiet as to not wake the others still asleep. Looking at the two warriors, she frowned. "If you're going to be loud, leave the den." With that, the dusty tabby warrior slipped out of the den silently.

"We'll leave right away." Ghostfur said to Swiftstorm. His ears flicked in amusement when Roseleaf woke up. "I'll just be waiting by the camp entrance." he mewed as he turned and padded back out of the warrior's den. Ghostfur strode over to where Bluenose was waiting, and signaled Milkypaw to come and wait with them also. "Now I know why I miss being a medicine cat so much, no dawn patrols." Bluenose said as Ghostfur sat down to wait for Swifstorm. "Oh you know you enjoy being a warrior. I've seen how you glance at Roseleaf[Bluenose having a crush on Roseleaf okay?]." Ghostfur joked. He could tell he had flustered his brother because Bluenose's fur was pricking in embarrassment and he didn't respond.

Roseleaf and Swiftstorm exchanged quick glances at Lightningstorm's comment before each in turn jumped over the other sleeping warriors. Roseleaf pulled it off rather gracefully without any sound while Swiftstorm stumbled a bit as one of the other sleeping warriors moved where he planned the step. They both exited the warriors den. Swiftstorm went straight over to the clans make shift entrance, while Roseleaf headed over to where Snowstar had been before.

Personality: Hurricanepaw is a generally laid-back she-cat. She is very loyal to her Clan and tends to become rather cynical toward other cats outside of ThunderClan. This is most-likely because of the fight she lost a few moons earlier against a loner that landed her in the medicine cat's den for a few moons, also keeping her from receiving her warrior name. Hurricanepaw hides her bitterness about this and is determined to regain her former strength, maybe even to surpass it.
Appearance/Picture: Hurricanepaw is a pale silver she-cat with a lean build more suited for ShadowClan and pale green eyes. Newly healed scars score her pelt thickly from that fight a few moons ago. Her eyes are a pretty green that seem to always be so guarded, as to not give away what she truly feels.

Personality: She is a creative, friendly, resourceful, and intellectually quick. Good at a broad range of things; enjoys debating issues and is a good liar. She gets very excited about new ideas and projects, but may neglect the more routine aspects of life. Generally outspoken and assertive, but she hates to be alone, and can be very stubborn. Excellent ability to understand and learn quickly.
Appearance/Picture: Soft-furred, ginger she-cat with dark tabby markings that are darker on the head and tail, and faint on the back and legs. Sharp yellow eyes.

Streamstar sat in the center of camp as others were starting to wake up. She wanted to send cats to search for a cure for the mysterious disease that had already killed several cats, but with the badger infestation, it was impossible to search for herbs safely. There weren't enough healthy warriors to chase off all the badgers. Ever since RiverClan had found the Star Rock, the territory had become plentiful with prey, but RiverClan didn't eat the forest prey that had been attracted to their territory. Soon badgers had discovered this land filled with prey, and they had begun showing up in search of food. Usually, there were enough healthy cats to keep them away, but ever since the disease had infected RiverClan, badgers had begun to enter the territory without anycat stopping them.

Milkypaw trotted over to Ghostfur as he signaled. She began to wonder about the things she may get to see and experience.....things she had never seen before. Her head became clouded with thoughts and lost in a daydream, but then quickly snapped out of it. Milkypaw was beginning to grow very curious and excited. She was very eager to start exploring.

"Hey Streamstar..." Ashfall padded out of the warrior's den, his jaws gaping open in an enormous yawn. He was one of the few healthy warriors left, and everyday he worked his paws off trying to get enough food for the whole Clan. And not to mention searching for something that might cure the strange disease that had already killed an apprentice and a warrior.

When he'd gone to his nest last night, it had already been past moonhigh. And now it was just barely dawn. It was so tempting to just go back and sleep... Ashfall shook his head firmly, and pawed at his eyes, suppressing another yawn as he came to stop in front of his leader. "Good morning."
