Skyclan's Annual Tree Race (All Clans.)

Running through the trees. Launching, dodging, and fighting. The life as a Skyclan cat is one of the best, and daring. There is only one way to become known in Skyclan, and that is through the Annual Tree Race. Everyone knows about it, from the newborn kits of the clans, to the oldest members of Starclan. It's talked about, and anticipated about. The moons leading up to it are tedious ones for Skyclan. They're preparing the race course, signing cats up, and creating obstacles. This year's course consists of beginning in the trees, traveling down Skyclan's mountain, and into the Twoleg village. Once there, cats will work their way along the rooftops, and back along toward the mountain again. They enter the forest in the pines, just along the border of Shadowclan. The trees are denser, making it harder to weave through the trees, but still possible. Heading back up the mountain, the trees thin out and soon they're racing across the ground. The air is cold up here, making it harder for the cats to breath. It snows, and prey is scarce. As they reach the top of the mountain, the other side is clear. The last stretch of the race is down the other side of the mountain, and back down to Skyclan's camp. This side of the mountain though, is the complete opposite of the winter side. The land is parch, with lesions through it. The mountain itself, turns out to be a volcano, and soon lava is spewing, burning the cat's beautiful pelts. If they make it past here, they'll enter the trees again, where prey is plentiful, and Skyclan's camp is in view. To win the Tree Race is an honor throughout the clans. Will your clan be the one to win? Or will you be like the rest, and lose? Join Skyclan's Annual Tree Race today!

Instead of racing individually, you'll be split up according to your clan. Please use your cat, not a RPG one, thank you.

If you don't feel like being a competitor, you can always work on my team as an ninja. If you decided to be a Ninja, your goal will be to stop a certain team. Each team will have 1-2 Ninjas. You can not be a Ninja for your clan. Ex. I'm Skyclan, which means I can't try to stop Skyclan.
Ninjas will be run by me, the Race Organizer/Main Assassin. If Ninjas have any questions, you may run them by me, but other than that, you may keep to yourself. If you sign up as a Ninja, there is no killing, seriously disabling a cat, or special powers. You're still a regular cat. If you'd like though, you may coat yourself in black.

Race Track Reminder- Start in the trees, at the Skyclan camp, and make way down to twoleg village, then head back up the mountain and into a blizzard, cross the mountain and enter the desert side of the mountain. Make your way down this side, and back into the trees and end up back at Skyclan's camp. About a week's worth of racing.

Gender- She-cat
Ninja of what clan?- All the clans. (Main Assassin) I'm everywhere at once.
Personality- Deadly, swift, and skilled. She doesn't talk much, but attacks quickly and then gets out of the way.
Looks(Including Ninja Looks. Ex. Mud covered.)- Before the race started, Hazelstar had the Skyclan medicine cat create a red dye for her pelt. Her paws, and tail are stained red, along with a fake scar along her eye. The rest of her body is her usual majestic white coat.
Special Skills- Being the leader of Skyclan, Hazelstar is the swiftest throughout the trees. She attacks and leaves before her prey even know she was there. She can knock a cat to their paws in seconds. Hazelstar is sure to be an obstacle to look out for!

Hazelstar closed her eyes for a moment, before opening them. She had felt the short jolt in the air as the Dark Forest cats passed into the world of the living. She smiled, things were going to get serious with this. Especially since one of the members was acting as a ninja... Poor Moonclan She thought sarcastically.

Phoenixflare looked up. "Hey Cheesestar!" she called. "Welcome to the Annual Tree Race! I'll go fetch Hazelstar!" She bounded off. "Hazelstar!" she called. "Awesomeclan is here!" She bounded back. "She'll be here," Phoenixflare promised.

Hazelstar purred, licking her red stained paws before noticing Phoenixflare. Hazelstar turned and padded out of camp, and came up to Cheesestar, "Greetings, and welcome to Skyclan's camp. Feel free to settle in as we wait for the other clans. We've stalked up on fresh-kill if you'd like to eat too. Nothing exciting will be going on till tomorrow, where I'll call a Leader meeting and a Ninja meeting before the race, then we'll be off!" She mewed softly.

Brightstar led her patrol closer to the camp and noticed that AwesomeClan had arrived before them. Shrugging inwardly, she paused at the entrance to state her presence like Cheesestar had. "RiverClan here." If she remembered correctly, the Dark Forest was going to participate this time too. That would make it interesting.

Stepping around her leader, Neverblue turned her pale blue-gray gaze on the AwesomeClan racers. She was going to be their Ninja this time, so might as well learn a bit about them first. Nevertheless, the RiverClan warrior nodded deferentially at Cheesestar. No need to be hostile.

@Hazel: Is that supposed to be good or bad? Because it sounds bad to me...... O.O

Just settle in till tomorrow, there is some space within the cave, but there are beds outside the camp too if solitude is what you and your clan prefer." She mews, glancing at Brightstar. Her old friend looked healthy and ready to race, along with the rest of Riverclan.

Adderstrike padded behind Cheesestar. He was overwhelmed with excitement. He was one of the runners, and he wanted to win for his clan. He swished his tail and glanced around Skyclan territory. It was very different, but he would get used to it.

Hazelstar leaped upon the ledge that looked across the land once more. The clusters of cats were advancing faster now, and one advanced unnaturally fast. Uncatlike. The Dark Forest. She thought silently. These cats were here for business, and Hazelstar was ready.

~ I think we should start without ThunderClan, WindClan, IceClan and MoonClan :3 ~

Phantom led the Dark Forest cats through SkyClan's territory, her paws seemed to glide across the ground as she walked. The secret to it was moving fast and only letting the tip of the paw graze the ground lightly. Less resistance, more speed. The words from her former mentor echoed in her mind.

She couldn't help but glower at Hazelstar when they arrived. She had wanted to be a ninja instead of a leader. Stupid rules. I'll have to watch over my useless cats. She thought grumpily. She had wanted to ninja SkyClan and bring them down. (hehe)

~ I'll call the leader meeting to tell them the race route then we can start ~

The next day.

Hazelstar woke with sore muscles and a growling stomach. She yowled with horror as unfamiliar scents ranked her nose, and she unleashed her claws. Glancing around wildly, she gains control of herself. it's just the clans here for the races, calm down. Her mind informs her, and she smiles. It seemed like a lot of cats had already woken, but deciding not to wake the other resting cats, she approached Phantom, the leader of the Dark Forest's team. She nods to her, "Morning to you. I'll be holding a leader meeting, and I'd like you to attend. We'll be talking about the race course."
