Skyclan's Annual Tree Race (All Clans.)

Running through the trees. Launching, dodging, and fighting. The life as a Skyclan cat is one of the best, and daring. There is only one way to become known in Skyclan, and that is through the Annual Tree Race. Everyone knows about it, from the newborn kits of the clans, to the oldest members of Starclan. It's talked about, and anticipated about. The moons leading up to it are tedious ones for Skyclan. They're preparing the race course, signing cats up, and creating obstacles. This year's course consists of beginning in the trees, traveling down Skyclan's mountain, and into the Twoleg village. Once there, cats will work their way along the rooftops, and back along toward the mountain again. They enter the forest in the pines, just along the border of Shadowclan. The trees are denser, making it harder to weave through the trees, but still possible. Heading back up the mountain, the trees thin out and soon they're racing across the ground. The air is cold up here, making it harder for the cats to breath. It snows, and prey is scarce. As they reach the top of the mountain, the other side is clear. The last stretch of the race is down the other side of the mountain, and back down to Skyclan's camp. This side of the mountain though, is the complete opposite of the winter side. The land is parch, with lesions through it. The mountain itself, turns out to be a volcano, and soon lava is spewing, burning the cat's beautiful pelts. If they make it past here, they'll enter the trees again, where prey is plentiful, and Skyclan's camp is in view. To win the Tree Race is an honor throughout the clans. Will your clan be the one to win? Or will you be like the rest, and lose? Join Skyclan's Annual Tree Race today!

Instead of racing individually, you'll be split up according to your clan. Please use your cat, not a RPG one, thank you.

If you don't feel like being a competitor, you can always work on my team as an ninja. If you decided to be a Ninja, your goal will be to stop a certain team. Each team will have 1-2 Ninjas. You can not be a Ninja for your clan. Ex. I'm Skyclan, which means I can't try to stop Skyclan.
Ninjas will be run by me, the Race Organizer/Main Assassin. If Ninjas have any questions, you may run them by me, but other than that, you may keep to yourself. If you sign up as a Ninja, there is no killing, seriously disabling a cat, or special powers. You're still a regular cat. If you'd like though, you may coat yourself in black.

Race Track Reminder- Start in the trees, at the Skyclan camp, and make way down to twoleg village, then head back up the mountain and into a blizzard, cross the mountain and enter the desert side of the mountain. Make your way down this side, and back into the trees and end up back at Skyclan's camp. About a week's worth of racing.

My Character-
Name- Hazelstar
Gender- She-cat
Ninja of what clan?- All the clans. (Main Assassin) I'm everywhere at once.
Personality- Deadly, swift, and skilled. She doesn't talk much, but attacks quickly and then gets out of the way.
Looks(Including Ninja Looks. Ex. Mud covered.)- Before the race started, Hazelstar had the Skyclan medicine cat create a red dye for her pelt. Her paws, and tail are stained red, along with a fake scar along her eye. The rest of her body is her usual majestic white coat.
Special Skills- Being the leader of Skyclan, Hazelstar is the swiftest throughout the trees. She attacks and leaves before her prey even know she was there. She can knock a cat to their paws in seconds. Hazelstar is sure to be an obstacle to look out for!

Two characters are allowed! (1 Ninja and 1 Racer.) Anywho. Enjoy!

Shadowflare ran through the trees and glanced down momentarily. A flash of golden eyes and Shadowflare recognized the cat as Phoenixflare. He looked up and bounded after the Dark Forest. Time to take them down. He saw Aere running up ahead and ran after her. He unsheathed his claws and began to leap.

~Remember to add as much detail to your post as possible please. 1-2 sentences is not all you can put.
Just so we don't get sidetracked, the teams should be arriving to the Twoleg village, if you aren't already there. Teams then will either be sleeping in the village or slightly in the forest.
Please also don't spam out the RPG, sometimes people are gone doing stuff, and don't appreciate coming back to 3 pages of reading to do. Please though, make your posts sound as detailed as possible, Phoenixflare, Bramblesky and Brameblestorm.
Not to sound harsh.~

Phoenixflare bounded into the Twoleg Village. Finally! She thought. I'm here! The night was starting to get dark. Her dark pelt blended into the shadows of the big twoleg dens. Her black tail twitched as she glanced behind her and saw more cats coming. She padded around, finding a comfy spot in a hole next to a garbage can, and settled down to sleep.

Streamfur stopped running as the trees thinned out, and the twoleg village was ahead. Night was falling, and they'd have to rest. There were plenty of sheltered bushes that Streamfur and the other Riverclan cats could sleep in, and she felt that it would be safer than entering the village. The village was infested with twolegs and their monsters, and if they continued into the village, they'd probably have to stop and sleep there before they made it out. On the other hand, if the kept going a little longer and entered the village, they'd be a little farther ahead when they woke to start the race. She walked over to Brightstar, "Should we rest here, or keep going into the village?"

Feye looked at Phantom and hissed. "What about me? I don't understand what's going on." She licked her chest in embarrassment. She wasn't normally confused, not when if=t came to fighting, but no one is perfect.

"You'll come with me and CheeseStar," Phantom replied, flicking her lightly with her tail. She noticed the darkening sky and grinned in triumph. "Most of them will go to sleep now so let's hurry up and use this as an advantage."

Torrentheart's fur ruffled as he padded over to Streamfur, dipping his head to her and Brightstar. "I think we could keep going a little longer, and perhaps we can head in, and then rest once we're halfway through it," he suggested. His tail flicked as he thought about his own plan, wondering how well it would work if it was applied. The golden tinge in his eyes glowed brightly in the sea of amber in his eyes as he looked at Brightstar evenly.

Feye nodded. She smiled wickedly, darkness was their realm. She was a former ShadowClan warrior as well, making her a great fighter and good at ambushing and slinking through the underbrush. Her dark pelt helped her blend in with the forest and dark. "I just realized how much I was ignored in ShadowClan." Feye looked at the sky once more. "This is better than the sun." She mewed with a refreshed tone.

"Twolegs and monsters need to sleep too," Brightstar pointed out, idly scratching the earth as she spoke. "Of course, the ninjas may sneak up on us while we're sleeping. Other racers might try that too, out here. I'll say... let's push on a little further. Find an alley to spend the night. We're not that tired yet so hunt first right now. Who knows whether we'll be able to find fresh kill in the village."

"Phantom, I'm kind of tired, even though I haven't done much running," CheeseStar admitted, breathing heavily. "You guys are lucky you can run on low amounts of shut-eye but I think it's best if I rest now, and you guys continue. If you guys are way ahead by tomorrow morning, I can still set some traps to make sure these guys don't catch up." She glanced around. She smelled some scents of the Clan cats mixing with the strong Twoleg scents, but she couldn't see any of the sleeping cats in the darkness.

Hazelstar watched the teams fly past her hiding spot. They all entered the twoleg village just fine, so no reason to attack them. Yet, Hazelstar still pulled herself out of her spot and stalked up behind the DF/Awesomeclan team. Cheesestar's ginger fur stood out, and like did her own snow white fur, but she didn't care. Hazelstar was quick. She launches herself forward, tuking her paws underneath Cheesestar's hind legs, and knocking her over. Without sticking around, she bolts away, ahead of the team.

Streamfur nodded and disappeared deeper into the woods. She quietly walked along, trying not to make any noise from stepping on leaves. It felt strange hunting in the forest, when she was so used to fishing in the river. Soon, a familiar sound caught her attention. It was the sound of a trickling stream, that must be nearby. She moved a little faster in the direction of the sound, and soon, the trees opened up to a stream, not nearly as large as Riverclan's river, but big enough for fish to live in. She padded up to the edge of the stream, making sure her shadow wasn't in the water, and she waited. Eventually, a dark shape moved by in the water by where Streamfur was waiting, and her paw shot out, and grabbed the fish out of the water. She quickly killed it, and after catching one more, she headed back to where she had last seen Brightstar, with her mouth full of fish.

Snowlily pelted on now, as she pushed through the last of Skyclan's forest. As the trees thinned out she could see the twolegs village. The sun was still in going to be in the sky for quite a bit longer. Alright. Its time for some rest. Ill be able to hunt in Shadowclan territory before we get to the mountain. She bolted off now until she passed the other racers up, including the Skyclan tree hoppers, and then stopped beneath a few low growing shrubs for a rest. As soon as that sun starts to set this will get interesting... Most of the clans will be slowed down or forced to stop for the night.

Aere spun on her heels, and lightly sidestepped so the attacker was forced to crash into the undergrowth beside her. "Maybe you should be more quiet next time," she sneered, and raked her claws over his face. Without waiting for a reply, she turned and disappeared into the darker shadows of the thick undergrowth. It was better to remain unseen; that way, she'd be able to catch up the others faster.

Lurking in the bushes Bramblestorm begins to watch Phoenixflare surveying her every move making sure she dose not see him whilst also looking out for Bramblesky.

"Hopefully this one will prove to be more of a challenge than her coward of a partner"

Feye looked at CheeseStar, then at Phantom. "Should we carry on without... her?" Feye asked her leader. She looked ahead of her and wondered how the other Clans were getting along. Without waiting for an answer, she continued, "If we wait, the other teams might overtake us and we might be get attacked by the Ninjas at night." Feye reasoned.

"CheeseStar," Phantom growled, prodding the exhausted she-cat with a sheathed paw. "You stay behind with Aere and stop the ninjas. Feye and I will go ahead and try to win the race. Is that fine?"

"No problem Phantom," CheeseStar meowed, a playfully crooked grin set upon her muzzle. She wouldn't be much help in her exhausted state, but the adrenaline often experienced when one stays up too late was beginning to kick in. She stood on all four paws, alert.

Feye smiled wickedly. She hopped on to her paws like an excited kitten. She chased her tail around in a circle then stopped and put a straight look on her face. "Oops." She blushed and looked at her paws worriedly. "Well, Phantom, we should get going," She said and brushed past her leader in a proud strut.

(Pumpin' those kitty fists on the inside WOOP WOOP!! For some reason I'm suddenly hyper after sitting here at the computer.)

Phantom flashed her fangs at Cheesestar (It was how she smiled) and disappeared after Feye. The two of them sprinted through the twoleg village with ease -- most of the racers they were competiting against were either asleep or far behind.
