Windclan RP

_{A continuation of the Journey Back Home rp and a way for Windclan members to rp their main character.}

Rules:

Don't get too off topic. This is why I made a new rp and closed the last one.
Follow all site rules.
Forbidden mate-ships are to be discussed with Honeystar, the leader, and not just formed for plot purposes.
Other clans are not allowed to participate unless this rule is changed in the future. Small comments here and there can slide.
Be realistic. Badgers are very rare, foxes are rare, dogs are extremely rare, and other predators don't just come up every 2 pages. Also, one cat can't take down a badger by him/herself unless they're Lionblaze. Bravery is nice, but it won't do anything for you if you're dead.
Drama is encouraged, but don't take it outside of the rp. Also, don't make it too intense.
If the rules are broken more than 3 times, that person, even if he/she is in Windclan, will not be able to rp for the rest of the rp or until I feel that they'll behave more appropriately the second time around.

Leaf-bare

As Greenleaf ends, prey starts to get scarcer and scarcer, but faster than most had expected. Greenleaf was good to Windclan, but eventually they will find themselves with a shortage of food. Soon, snow will cover the moor and freeze most of the small rivers in the territory. The sky is unusually dark, covered by grey clouds, and Windclan might face some of the worst frosts they've had in many moons.

Weather: Snowing. Starting to heavily snow.
Snow Level:Medium. Kits and apprentices might fall in, warriors will find it a bit harder to move around.
Prey: Scarce. Rabbits almost never found on the surface when not looking for food.
Clan Condition: Fresh kill pile is getting low, cats are having difficulty staying warm and moving around.
Other: Cats are catching colds and dens must be reinforced to keep them warm and empty of snow. Icicles are forming.

Note: If any cat gets wet, they must dry themselves off to avoid getting sick. Frostbite is also a possibility.

Other:

It is almost leaf bare, and pretty much every day will be cold and snowy. I will post the weather form time to time just to give you guys something to rp about... Time to freeze everyone to death.
Cats from other clans can ask to be in the rp at some point, but half of Riverclan can't be in Windclan. For example: If Baldpaw from Riverclan was caught at the border, he will be taken over to Windclan until Riverclan comes to get him (Until he leaves). He would stay and rp until he wanted to leave. For now, no other clan members I'll post when it's ok to ask.
The rp will change seasons every 10 pages. From now on, the first post will be the place to check for all news and things in the clan instead of randomly deciding when seasons come and go. It will be easier. Also, the first post will be updated every 5 pages or so unless something important happens, then it will be updated as soon as possible.

Sagedapple purred in amusement. She would keep a carefl watch on her tail now, nevertheless. The kits looked healthy enough, and if they kept running around and exercising, it would be unlikely that they'd fall sick. "Windystorm, if those leaves rip, I'll give you these okay?" Sagedapple sagged her claw on the large fuzzy leaf and held it up. "It's lamb's ears leaves," she explained. "They're more durable than regular ones. And they're bigger."

Windystorm smirked slightly at the kit, chuckling softly as she bit into Birdflight's 'Fluffytwig', and looked around. The camp was filled with snow. They'd probably have to clear out the dens and find something better than moss to make their nests with. It soaked up the snow too quickly. Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his tail, near the tip. Windystorm let out a surprised yelp, almost dropping the bait, and quickly moved his white tail tip, which, unfortunately, was still being attacked by a kit under half his size. He moved Rainkit gently off of his tail and whisked it away gingerly, grinning mischievously at Birdflight. "I'll get back at you for that, you know." He purred, and glancing at Rainkit, said, "You've got sharp teeth. The next Fluffytwig you'll have'll be an unsuspecting piece of prey!" He turned his attention back to Sagedapple and nodded. "I think I'll manage though. I'll make sure to keep these safe."

Wintershadow meowed, "Windystorm, Rainkit needs to learn not to talk to any warrior like that. No one deserves to be told that!"

"I'm going to hunt," Gingerblazr turned the other way, "if you don't mind. It'll help get my mind off things." Her tail flicked back and forth, before she exited the camp entrance. The Snow was powdery; it had just recently snowed. Secretly, she had always been fascinated by snowflakes. None of them are the same, all unique. Opening her mouth slightly, she took in the scent of the prey. Instantly, squirrel hit her nose. Wow! She thought, climbing the tee, what a lucky catch. But, she found it was stale, and there was no prey to be found.

Windystorm looked over at Wintershadow again, ears pricked. "It was just a little fun, that's all. Hopefully the kits can find worse threats for their enemies than telling them they'd made a good meal." He said, whiskers twitching in amusement. "Though you're right. Now kits," Windystorm put on a mock-stern voice and put down the bundle of leaves beside them, "Don't you ever let me catch you trying to eat your clanmates again, especially not the old ones, or I'll box your ears off!" He threw in a 'fierce' growl at the end, imitating one of the elders that used to scold him when he was a kit. His father was more laid-back about play and had let him get away with everything, and his mother was always busy. The old, grumpy cat was the one who mostly taught him his rights from his wrongs. Windystorm hid a smile from Wintershadow and ducked down to pick up the nuts again, meowing in a more quiet voice, "In all seriousness though, those older and more experienced should be respected. Be careful not to offend them, kits." He stood up and nodded to the others. "We'll be back soon!" He cast a questioning glance at Birdflight. "Shall we?"

Dawnstorm padded over to the kits and batted at Rainkit. "Now, now Rainkit," she chimed and picked her up her mouth. Dawnstorm flinched at her slashing, but she knew she would have to get used to it. She would have her own kits soon. She dropped her at the feet of Wintershadow. "Grasswhisker is teaching first, so I can help you watch them," Dawnstorm said, licking Firekit thoughtfully.

While Dawnstorm was washing her brother, Rainkit was wrestling with Riverkit. "That'll teach you Shadowclan scum! Don't mess with Windclan!" She pretended to bite down on Riverkit's neck.

Firekit was pouting, his sisters get to play, but he gets to get washed.

Grasswhisker and the other 3 left camp. They started going towards the Moonstone, and the spotted and eagle really low, and a boulder they could hide behind. Tigerlily nodded her head, initiating that she was going first. She stayed quiet, putting a pile of berries by the boulder, the eagle crept close. They all bounced into action and Tigerlily pounced on it's wing. She bit deep into it, and the eagle screeched. Wintershadow went for it's eyes, and Grasswhisker ran to it's feet and bit them. While all of these things were happening, Sunfire slit it's throat. The eagle fell, and screreched one last time, and it fell limp. The eagle was average sized, so two of them could drag it, and they could take turns. Grasswhisker and Sunfire went halfway, and then switched with the other two. When they got back, they put it in the fresh kill pile, and Wintershadow went back to the nursery.

Sparkflame walked out of her den and looked longingly at the kits playing. "hello Rainkit, Riverkit." SHe mewed to the wrestling kits outside the nursery. Sparkflame was a young warrior and she was really immature. UNlike her sister Moonblaze who was way more mature know that they had become warriors. Sparkflame was happy, she had a mate and she was sure that there would be kits soon.

(Considering that you said they were headed toward MoonStone then I'm guessing Grasswhsiker is away Forest? Maybe when he gets back can Sparkflame be expecting kits? If yes I'll make a separate RP.)

Dawnkit nudged Firekit away with the other kits when she was done and sat down, licking her own paws. "Now it's your turn," she chimed, and scooped up Rainkit by the scruff and lay down in front of the nursery. "Riverkit, how about we take you out of camp soon since your 6 moons now?" Dawnstorm said while bathing the kit. Dawnstorm nodded Birdflight over and glanced over to Duskkit and Rainkit. "Birdflight," Dawnstorm whispered to her sister, "Can you snatch up Rainkit? She will take a while to fetch, since she's being all hyper. Set her right next to me and I'll clean her. She'll be the hardest to clean." She looked at Rainkit, biting her poor brother.

Sparkflame smiled "I've never had an eagle, maybe I'll try some." She looked at her mate and she grinned. "Grasswhisker, I just found out yesterday that... I'm expecting kits." she mewed happily. Since she was a young kits she dreamed of being a mother to kits and being a great warrior. She knew being a mother to kits would make her more mature of course, It might even get rid of her bad attitude toward the deputy.

Brokenleaves heard the news from her granddaughter and rushed over. "that's amizing my dear!" She smiled and looked at Grasswhsiker "You'd better treat her nice... daddy." she mewed. She was happier than ever since Bramblefur died.

Rockpetal walked towards her friend from the elders' den. "Did I hear that right?" she mewed, smiling. "You're gonna have kits? This is amazing! Who would think that my grumpy best friend would end up being a mother?" She ended with a squeal and before jumping towards the elders' den. "Nightheart! Come out and see Sparkflame!" Rockpetal mewed and bounced back to Sparkflame's side.

Nightheart yawned and stretched as Rockpetal's tail disappeared from sight. "I was taking a nap!" she mumbled and dragged herself from the den. She limped to where cats had gathered around Sparkflame. "What?" she hissed, clawing at the grass. What in the name of StarClan is going on here? she thought. I see Sparkflame, so what? Her pelt color hasn't changed. She's not a rabbit. Why can't I just finish my nap?

Brokenleaves looked at her grumpy friend. "In the name of StarClan, can't recognize a pregnant cat when you see one?" She mewed.

"Yes Rockpetal, you heard right. I will be moving to the nursery I suppose." She mewed to her overly exited friend. "And what do you mean grumpy? I'm short tempered maybe, but not grumpy. I can't wait though!" she squealed. "Rockpetal, I've dreamed of being a mother since I was a kit!" She figured that if her mother and Rockpetal managed to be nice and stay in the Dark Forest, she could too.

Grasswhisker purred, "Sparkflame, that's wonderful!" He was surprised to hear Brokenleaves say that to him. "I will, you don't have to worry. he meowed, then he sighed, "I with my mother were here to see this. She loves- well, loved kits."

Tigerlily's jaw dropped, "KITS!!!" Tigerlily has always loved kits more than anyone, wanting more than anything to have kits... But she doesn't have a mate. She rushed over to Sparkflame and her brother and meowed, "I wonder how many you'll have. Congrats!!!"

Gingerpaw, a young apprentice who newly joined the clan pushed her way out of the apprentice den. A wet snowflake fell on her nose, and she looked up to the sky. More flakes fell, and she purred and licked one. It was cold. She took another step, but fell into the deep snow!

"Watch out there!" Viper purred in amusement, grabbing Gingerpaw by her scruff, and hauling her out of the deep drift of snow. She dropped the small apprentice on the firm patch of snow she was settled on.
"The snow's deeper there because the camp slopes downward there. You'll need to be more careful in the future!" Viper mewed, getting to her paws, and stretching.
"So, how are you settling down here? I mean with the changes and everything?" Viper mewed, looking at the smaller she-cat with genuine curiosity, and a friendly gleam was in her green eyes.

Gingerpaw nodded timidly. "It's alot different than ThunderClan." She admitted with a smile. Shaking her snowy pelt, she shivered. "How does snow come Viper? Where does it come from?" This time Gingerpaw's green eyes had much curiosity.

"Well...Snow comes when a rain cloud comes to a cold place, and the rain inside the cloud freezes up, and it can fall back to the ground in hail, sleet, snow, or just really cold rain." Viper mewed, looking up at the puffy grey clouds. While Gingerpaw was distracted, Viper allowed herself to look at the nursery longingly, a sigh escaping her lips. Viper could almost imagine herself curled around little kits, purring loudly, safely tucked away with her away from the cold, harsh winds. Viper remembered how proud she was when Sparkfire, and her siblings were made apprentices, her little girls were so proud and happy, but she knew she had the longing for kits that came from her tummy. Shaking away the thoughts, Viper returned her gaze to Gingerpaw.
"So have you found a mentor you would like?"

"Dawnstorm mentioned it to me. She said we could work extra because I used to be medicine cat apprentice." Gingerpaw smiled. She noticed Viper longingly looking at the nursery. "Well," Gingerpaw cleared her throat. "I'll be in my den if you need me!"

"Ah...Well, have fun. Danwstorm is young, but I'm sure she'll be a good mentor." Viper mewed, getting to her paws, and heading towards the meager fresh-kill. Right now, more than anything, Viper longed for the company of her dead best friend, Forestblaze. Sighing, Viper absently picked at a hare, her appetite gone.

"Wait!!" Gingerpaw called after Viper. "Maybe you could train me too! Two cats helping me learn to be a warrior will speed up the pace so I can have my warrior ceremony at the same time as the others!" she squealed, full of hope. The young cat seemed to take great interest in Viper.

"Well...It's been done before...and..I guess Dawnstorm might need help of a more experienced warrior..." Viper mused, her green eyes narrowing thoughtfully.
"Well, you should talk to Dawnstorm about it, and if she says yes, then I'd be glad to help." Viper mewed, looking at Gingerpaw again, her eyes gleaming brightly.
