WindClan Apprentice Ceremony -Snowlily's kits [WindClan only]

In the late night sky, Honeystar gave a slight shiver as a leafbare gust blew across the Camp. Walking up to the High ledge he called out. "Let all cats old enough to chase their prey gather for a Clan meeting." He watched and waited as the whole camp reluctantly came to life with cats coming out of the warmth of their dens. Thank StarClan it wasn't this cold the last time we had an Apprentice Ceremony.

Phoenixkit woke up to the sound of Honeystar calling from outside, followed by the sounds of many cats leaving their dens. "What's going on Momma?" she mewed to Snowlily while nudging at her to wake up. Must be something really important.

Snowlily quickly raised her head and perked her ears. She was confused between hearing Honeystar calling for a gathering and Phoenixkit prodding her awake. After a yawn she hauled herself to her feet and looked down at Phoenixkit. "Well why don't we ask him that?" she purred and quickly cleaned over her ginger fur. She stretched for a moment and let out another yawn before nudging Cedarkit and Frostkit awake and lifting them to their paws by their scruff. "It's time for us to get up" she purred as she groomed their fur and ushered them out of the nursery with her tail, still purring warmly. As they padded out of the den she glanced around the clearing then up at Honeystar still slightly dazed by their awakening. "Where is Applefur?" I suppose their ceremonies have been put off long enough. It's already been more than 6 moons. So much has happened still though. She purred quietly as she nudged Frostkit along to their usual spots below the High Ledge. After looking over the three kits one last time and licking over a stubborn tuft of hair on Cedarkit's should she settled in next to them and tucked her tail over her paws. I wonder how the rest of Windclan is coping with this weather? Honeystar seems to be enjoying the cold. She let out another long purr at the thought of him living back in Iceclan. Maybe it is better that I came to Windclan instead of him going to Iceclan. It wouldn't look good if he froze to death there. She didn't mind the cold but she definitely didn't like the breeze that always blew against her coat uncomfortably, but still she waited for Honeystar to continue...

Getting to her paws Applefur gave a long stretch. Fluffing out her fur awaiting the familiar cold breeze of the moors she padded out of the warriors den. Padding past the WindClan warriors she gave a wink to Snowlily and proceeded to the front of the clan where the deputy sat. Sitting down she wrapped her tail onto her paws and fluffed out her thick fur and purring for the refreshing cool night breeze. The stars shone brightly and she had picked out three stars that were close together imagining her family. Relaxed she gave a soft purr and awaited Honeystar's announcement for the young apprentices.

Sagedapple stretched, smoothing down her glossy brown fur with a few swift licks Nosing her half-eaten blackbird over to Flamesoul, who was greedily eyeing the fat piece of fresh-kill, she purred, "Eat it up quickly." She glanced affectionately at her kit. He looks so much like his father.. Fluffing her fur out from the chilly breeze, she padded over to Applefur, her green eyes glowing like minature lanterns.

Good. That should be everyone by now. "Tonight gives me great pleasure and honour to finally have Snowlily's kits, who are now over six months old, become apprentices of WindClan." Honeystar waited for the mews of excitement from everyone to die down before continuing. "Cedarkit, Frostkit, and Phoenixkit, come forth." He watched as Snowlily nudged them forward, and let out warm purr.

Applefur watched with a purr as the young cats stumbled up to Honeystar their eyes big as Honeystar called them for their apprentice ceremony. That reminds me so much of Stormstrike, Boltclaw, Autumndawn and Leopardheart She thought and glanced over to look at her kits. They looked so strong. The toms muscles rippled strongly beneath their pelts and the she cats more beautiful then ever. Smiling she turned her attention back to the ceremony.

"Phoenixkit, from this moment on until you get you're warrior name, you shall be known as Phoenixpaw. " Looking up at his Deputy he called out. "Applefur. You have proven to be a great Mentor when you trained Mapleheart." He quickly made a quick glance at his eldest son. "I'm sure you will help Phoenixpaw become a great warrior of WindClan too."

Applefur smiled. Getting to her paws, she padded up to Phoenixpaw and touched noses with the young cat. "You'll become an amazing warrior, you can count on it." She whispered with a happy smile. Applefur gently nudged the new apprentice over to sit beside her to listen to the rest of the ceremony.

Tigerspirit smiled at Phoenixki-paw getting her Apprentice Name. "She'll make a great warrior," She said to no one in particular.
