Windclan RP

_{A continuation of the Journey Back Home rp and a way for Windclan members to rp their main character.}

Rules:

Don't get too off topic. This is why I made a new rp and closed the last one.
Follow all site rules.
Forbidden mate-ships are to be discussed with Honeystar, the leader, and not just formed for plot purposes.
Other clans are not allowed to participate unless this rule is changed in the future. Small comments here and there can slide.
Be realistic. Badgers are very rare, foxes are rare, dogs are extremely rare, and other predators don't just come up every 2 pages. Also, one cat can't take down a badger by him/herself unless they're Lionblaze. Bravery is nice, but it won't do anything for you if you're dead.
Drama is encouraged, but don't take it outside of the rp. Also, don't make it too intense.
If the rules are broken more than 3 times, that person, even if he/she is in Windclan, will not be able to rp for the rest of the rp or until I feel that they'll behave more appropriately the second time around.

Leaf-bare

As Greenleaf ends, prey starts to get scarcer and scarcer, but faster than most had expected. Greenleaf was good to Windclan, but eventually they will find themselves with a shortage of food. Soon, snow will cover the moor and freeze most of the small rivers in the territory. The sky is unusually dark, covered by grey clouds, and Windclan might face some of the worst frosts they've had in many moons.

Weather: Snowing. Starting to heavily snow.
Snow Level:Medium. Kits and apprentices might fall in, warriors will find it a bit harder to move around.
Prey: Scarce. Rabbits almost never found on the surface when not looking for food.
Clan Condition: Fresh kill pile is getting low, cats are having difficulty staying warm and moving around.
Other: Cats are catching colds and dens must be reinforced to keep them warm and empty of snow. Icicles are forming.

Note: If any cat gets wet, they must dry themselves off to avoid getting sick. Frostbite is also a possibility.

Other:

It is almost leaf bare, and pretty much every day will be cold and snowy. I will post the weather form time to time just to give you guys something to rp about... Time to freeze everyone to death.
Cats from other clans can ask to be in the rp at some point, but half of Riverclan can't be in Windclan. For example: If Baldpaw from Riverclan was caught at the border, he will be taken over to Windclan until Riverclan comes to get him (Until he leaves). He would stay and rp until he wanted to leave. For now, no other clan members I'll post when it's ok to ask.
The rp will change seasons every 10 pages. From now on, the first post will be the place to check for all news and things in the clan instead of randomly deciding when seasons come and go. It will be easier. Also, the first post will be updated every 5 pages or so unless something important happens, then it will be updated as soon as possible.

Windystorm was lying in camp, virtually invisible underneath a pile of snow except for his tail, which was sticking out of the mound he had been covered with. Earlier, he had slept outside of camp to keep watch and to think. He'd never expected more snow. Windystorm blinked open his eyes, his ears swiveling around and shaking the snow off to expose them. He shivered slightly as he realized how cold it really was, and jumped up, shaking the snow from his pelt. Clumps of it was still stuck to his sides and back, and an icicle or two had formed under his chin. "What the...? Starclan..." He mumbled, his eyes widening. The amount of snow had doubled so that now it covered his paws. He looked around, shivering, and his eyes rested on Rainkit, Honeyleaf's daughter. He felt a small pang of sadness. Rainkit looked a bit like her. "Hey, kit." He purred, padding over to Rainkit and giving her a playful headbutt on the shoulder. His body was freezing cold, and his voice was affected, sounding almost like he had a cold, which he probably did have.

Wintershadow's eyes were cloudy. She hadn't done anything in days. Her dull, cloudy eyes always teared up as she looked at the kits. They remeinded her of Honeyleaf. Her best friend. She laid down in the nursery and hid her face in her paws. She didn't want to believe she was dead. She wanted to scream at Steampelt. She thought it was his fault. But she is never mean.

"It's snow!" Gingerblaze squealed, running to Windystorm. She skidded to a stop, sending snow flying onto her best friend. Giggling, she sent a pawful of snow onto him and the kit. "Aww, Sweetie! Are you cold?" Her tongue gently rasped Rainkit's head, wrapping her tail around the kit protectively. "You need to go inside before you catch a cold!" Nudging the kit into the nursery, she curled around her.

Wintershadow smiled at Gingerblaze and meowed a holly, "Thanks." She looked back down and shed a tear. Steampelt, and all of the kits remind Wintershadow of Honeyleaf. She sat up and sighed, "Are you cold, my dears?"

Windystorm chuckled, his short pelt allowing him little protection from the cold. He hoped it would grow out soon. "Thanks Gingerblaze, I needed more of this." He said, shaking the snow off of his pelt. "True," He sniffed, flicking an ear. "Oh, yeah, thanks for asking!" He purred, looking at Wintershadow. "Oh." He meowed sheepishly, embarrassed as he realized she hadn't directed her words at him too.

"Stupid," Gingerblaze snorted, hitting Windystorm playfully. "I hope I'm their mentor. They're very smart!" She winked, moving her paws up and down in the snow. "She's mischievous, that one," A sly smile worked its way on her face.

Birdflight came back from a hunting patrol with her best friends, Iceflight and Crowfrost. In her jaws, Birdflight held a rather scrawny hare as did Iceflight but unfortunately, Crowfrost hadn't found anything and she padded into camp with an upset look on her face. "I hate Leaf-Bare." She snarled watching as Birdflight and Iceflight placed their scrawny rabbits on the rapidly depleting fresh kill pile. "Its ok, I'm surprised I found one after Birdflight caught one." She mewed nodding in the deputy's direction. The two she cats said goodbye and padded into the warrior cats den. Spotting Windystorm and Gingerblaze across the clearing she padded up to the two smiling. "Hey!" Birdflight mewed as she got closer to the two cats. There was a strong, cold, breeze and she shivered against the cold. "In Leaf-Bare its terrible to be short-haired." She complained yet she knew she could do nothing about it.

Rainkit looked at Wintershadow. "Winter! I'm hungry! Where is Steampelt? He told me he would tell me about Honeyleaf? Can you tell me about Honeyleaf? What was she like? Did she look like me? Did she like mice like me? IS she watching me from Starclan?" Rainkit was asking the questions to fast for anyone to answer.

Windystorm grinned and chuckled, glancing at Birdflight. "Oh, hey." He meowed, flicking an ear. "You can say that again... Windclan suffers the most. We don't have any tress or rocks to cover us." He sneezed, his whiskers twitching.

Rainkit looked up at Birdflight. "Hi! Who are you? I haven't met you yet?" She inquired. She crinkled her nose, Birdflight smelled of bracken and smells she had never encountered. She guessed they must be from hunting.

Riverkit saw Windystorm's tail move, then it moved again. Her hunting instincts kicked in. must get tail, must get tail She got into her best pounce position then boom! She had bitten down as hard as her little teeth could.

Wintershadow smiled, "We've been best friends since we were apprentices, when I joined Windclan. I was in the forgotten Tribe of Falling Darkness, before the Tribe collapsed, due to a HUGE rogue attack. I was only a kit, then. But when we met, we instantly became best friends. She way nice, funny, and the best friend you could have. You look very much like her, but not completely. And of course she's watching you from Starclan. She was a good cat. Beautiful. I can see why Steampelt loved her. But when she died, it's like... I died with her. Losing a best friend is like losing a part of your heart, and the same with you mother dying. It's like my heart is gone, because I no longer have anything to love. But I have my siblings and you beautiful young kits, and that's alright with me." She sighed, "Honeyleaf, your mother, was a golden short-haired she-cat with sky blue eyes."

Rainkit looked at Wintershadow with big eyes. "Honeyleaf is very grateful. I know she would be. She misses you, you were her best friend too I bet. She would want you to carry on and make new best friends! When I grow up I'm going to be just like her!" Rainkit proclaimed. "I just wish I could of known her like you did." She sadly stated. She picked at her sparrow Wintershadow had fetched for her.

Windystorm clenched his teeth, holding back a surprised growl, and managed a smile, his eyebrows lowered teasingly. "Oh, so it's like that, huh?" He meowed, glancing down at Rainkit before stretching and slyly shaking the snow from his pelt so that it dropped down onto the kit.

Riverkit was not expecting snow to be so cold. Her whole body was shaking. She didn't care though, she was not going to let Windystorm get away with that. "Rainkit! Firekit! Duskkit! ATTACK!" Riverkit yowled. All the kits jumped on Windystorm. All you could see was a writhing mass of kits.

Windystorm's sly smile quickly turned into a surprised expression as the litter of kits overwhelmed him. They weren't heavy, but he hadn't expected Rainkit to call over her siblings and the ground under the snow was slippery. "Hey, four against one! Not fair! Have mercy!" He cried, batting at the kits gently, a look of sheer terror masking the smile and purrs he was trying hide. "Can't you fight me like a real warrior? Birdflight, Gingerblaze, help me! There are too many of them!"

Birdflight purred in amusement and padded over sitting beside Gingerblaze. "Windystorm, there's not much we can do. Its quite cold outside you know." She mewed giggling. Birdflight lifted one of her white paws and licked it pretending not to care but it was actually very amusing to watch.

After Rainkit felt Windystorm had learned his lesson, she called her siblings to a halt. "Ok, we've taught this rabbit-brain a lesson. He knows better then to mess with us!" She squeaked triumphantly. Soon she was involved in a game of defend. She was on the WindClan patrol and they we're battling Shadowclan! (aka the warriors tails) right now Rainkit was chewing on Birdflight's tail. She had named it Fluffytwig. "Fluffytwig! This is Windclan territory! Go crawl back home to Shadowclan where you belong!" She yowled and bit Fluffytwig/Birdflight's tail again.

Duskkit screeched, "ATTAAAAAACK!" he pounced on Windystorm and batted at him. He giggled at his face. "You're face looks silly. We know you're not really scared!" he laughed.

Wintershadow sat down and smiled a hollow smile. She looked as if the life was drained out of her. She inhaled deeply as she watched the kits play with Windystorm. Oh, Moonshadow, I know you loved Honeyleaf. She loved you too, but when you died, she fell in love. With Steampelt. You were the fake father until he joined the clan, and you know that. I want you to be grateful for Honeyleaf, and love her while she's in Starclan with you. But Honeyleaf wasn't in Starclan. She was in the Dark Forest, which she did not know.

Windystorm's ears drooped as he put on a hurt look, glancing at Birdflight. He snorted and winked at the kit. "What do you mean? This is pure and unintensified terror!" Windystorm gasped, "Friends... abandoned me... Wounds, too deep...!" He batted at a kit and paused, faking a dramatic death as his paws flailed around until he became limp, his tongue sticking out slightly.

Firekit walked over to Moonshadow, the closest thing he had to a mother was slowly receeding. He could feel it little by little. Honeyleaf's death had more of an impact on her than anyone else. "Winter why are you sad? Don't be sad! Honeyleaf would of wanted you to be happy!" He tried to cheer her up.

"I know, but she's not here beside me anymore. I need to know she's around for me to feel good, but she's not. She's only in my memory now." Wintershadow sighed, "I just want to feel or see her presence all the time. I don't want her dead. She doesn't deserve to be dead."

Riverkit noticed the two cats. She padded over to them. "I bet Honey misses you too! Maybe she will visit you in dreams! Starclan cats can do that right? She died for us. She wasn't supposed too, but the cat told us it wasn't anyones fault, it was her time to go to Starclan!" Riverkit added.

Windystorm blinked open one eye, glancing over at Wintershadow. He put his tongue back into his mouth, struggling a bit as it almost stuck to the ice, and shook his pelt. Sitting up, he looked over at them, sadness creeping into his expression. Stay positive. It's leafbare and cats are already feeling down... He reminded himself, shooting Wintershadow a reassuring glance before he stood, looking back over to Birdflight and Gingerblaze. "Hopefully, in a real battle, you two will be more quick than that." Windystorm teased, a soft purr rumbling in his throat. "How'd the hunt go?"
