Windclan RP

Windystorm smiled even though his plan didn't involve the garlic. His eyes started to widen slightly as Birdflight spoke, his smile growing into a small grin. "I'm honored. I won't let you down, Birdflight, not in a million moons." He meowed, seeming to stand a bit taller. Even though this meant that he would have to stay in camp, he'd still try to make himself useful. "I promise. No rogue will set a paw on Windclan while I'm here." Windystorm grinned.

Birdflight smiled and gave a small nod to the tom. "Once we get back to camp, make sure you arrange extra border patrols. Oh and just because your leading things doesn't mean you can never leave camp you know." She dipped her head to everyone and started to limp after Sagedapple in the direction of camp. Oh Windystorm please don't mess this up! She thought.

Sparkpaw looked around Grasswhisker. "Birdflight!" she mewed as she stood up. "I think I've stopped sneezing!" she mewed happily.

Cloudsong walked into camp, humming a creepy tune. She looked around to see who was in the camp, and didn't notice anyone who she could bother. She started bouncing up and down while spinning in circles to see if she could make anyone notice her.

"Hey genius, it was my plan!" Gingerblaze snorted, whisking her tail beneath his chin. "Stop taking credit for my plan." She puffed out her chest like Windystorm had been doing.

Cloudsong sighed, and thought for a moment. She looked around again, and saw Birdflight. She bounced over to her happily. "Hello Birdflight! Oh no! You're hurt! What happened?" she asked, cocking her head to the side while waiting for an answer.

Sparkpaw notices Cloudsong over near Birdflight "So, how about that walk?" She nosed Grasswhisker and waited for the tom to notice she was speaking to him and not some other random tom named Grasswhisker.

Moonpaw came out of the apprentice den to the sound of commotion "Whats going on?" she asked the deputy who was being asked the same usual questions that a wounded cat gets from Cloudsong.

"Yeah. Sounds good." he smiled. He padded over to the entrance of camp and meowed, "Coming?"

Cloudsong looked up in surprise. "Oh, hi Moonpaw!!!" Then she started to giggle creepily, for what reason, no one knows.

Sparkpaw smiled at the tom "Hehe!" She giggled and ran kit of the camp "Come on!" She mewed to the tabby behind her.

Moonpaw giggled as well, " Come to my lair, Cloudson." She mewed creepily and crept away to a small crack in the rocks near the edge of camp.

Cloudsong smiled. It was what most people would call a scary smile. "Ok Moonpaw!" she said happily, and she followed Moonpaw to her "lair", twitching her head and tail to a beat only she could hear as she went.

"Greetings" Moonpaw mewed as she watched the cat walk into her little lair. "So, what do you want to do?" She asked happily.

"I don't know!" Cloudsong mewed back. "Oh wait! Lets freak out the rest of the Clan! We could walk around laughing creepily and whispering and start to laugh harder when cat ask us what we're doing! That would freak them out!"

Moonpaw shrugged "Sounds cool!" She mewed and hopped outside.

Sparkpaw Looked around "Grasswhisker, are you coming?" She shouted knit the entrance. She flicked an ear as a fly flew by.

Grasswhisker dashed past her, and shouted, "Way ahead of you!" he ran around the moorlands freely, loving the cool weather. Not cold, but not warm. Cool. He jumped around, waiting for Sparkpaw to catch up.

Sparkpaw ran up and started panting. "You're fast." She marveled the Tom's skills. "When are we going to start, you know, walking?" She giggled. She sniffed and licked his ear. (When shall they ask to be mates? Like now?)

Lightningstorm slunk through the trees, her large golden gaze piercing her path. She was in a horrid mood. Burningpath had just died protecting her and now she was all alone. The tabby had been missing from camp for a while and really didn't want to go back. She felt completely empty and alone.

Grasswhisker breathed in deeply, "Sparkpaw, when you're a warrior..." he shuffled his paws and looked down, blushing, "w-will you be my mate? I really like you, but if you say no, I understand, since you like Windystorm." he looked up, blushing, but smiling.

With a deep sigh, Lightningstorm felt the sadness become too impossible. Too heavy a burden to carry. The usually quite strong she cat drooped in defeat, powerless to her depression. Then, she glared up at the sky. "I HATE YOU! WHY?! WHY DIDN'T YOU TAKE ME, STARCLAN? W...why....." The warrior sobbed, the cries racking in her chest. It felt as though she were nothing. No cat held her to this Earth any longer. She had no one. Lightningstorm would never see her family again and all of it was her fault. She was too weak.

The grieving tabby hadn't noticed she was so close to camp. Close enough for some cat to definitely hear her loud crying. Her mocking, angry, bitter shouts at StarClan. But would any cat care?

Sparkpaw shuffled her paws and looked up at Grasswhisker "O- of course!" She mewed. "I know it was time to pit Windystorm behind me. He has all the cats in WindClan mooning over him." She joked. "And it won't be long until I am a warrior." She mewed. She licked his shoulder and padded beside him.

Back in camp Birdflight lifted her head from eating a small rabbit. I swear I just heard a cat... yelling. Her curiosity got the better of her. She slowly got to her paws aching because of her wounds. She chuckled to herself imagining Sagedapple's expression if she told her she'd go on a small walk. But if its one of my clanmates out there I've got to help! She thought fiercely padding out of camp. She limped across the moorlands slowly staying alert and downwind to scent better. Birdflight gasped and quickly hobbled over to Lightningstorm who was in a heap sobbing. "What happened?" She breathed gently placing her tail on Lightningstorm's shoulder in comfort. Her eyes were glazed with pain and worry and she flicked her tail nervously.

Lightningstorm jumped to her paws in a defensive stance once she heard another cats voice and was touched. Seeing it was only Birdflight, the warrior calmed and glared at her paws. "Burningpath.....he's dead....during the attack, he protected me when I wasn't. Paying attention and was almost attacked by a large tom....now.....I'm alone." Her ears flattened and her golden eyes were ashamed. She should stop showing weakness. Self doubt was enough, Lightningstorm didn't need others (especially Birdflight) doubting her strength both mentally and physically. However, it would be good to get it out. "I...I just...I'm scared....and feel so vulnerable...a...and alone." The she cat confessed reluctantly with a Singh and hiccup.

Birdflight gasped in horror as Lightningstorm retold her story. "Lightningstorm, you'll never be alone, your clan is here with you until the end fighting together as a family. United WindClan is like a hurricane. We will to kill the tom who killed Burningpath I promise and we'll get rid of these rogues. They will never set paw in WindClan territory ever again as long as we fight for what we believe in." She paused for a moment. "You are probably the strongest cats in this clan both physically and mentally. Don't give up now, use this anger and sadness to your advantage. We have something to fight for... our clan, our family, and friends, our territory. That's what makes us stronger." Birdflight gave a small smile in sympathy. "I-I know the feeling to lose someone in your family. I lost my father." Slowly and cautiously she mewed, "Lightningstorm... where is his body?" She asked.

Lightningstorm smiled at the deputy. "Thank you, Birdflight. That was exactly what I needed to hear." She nuzzled her friend affectionately but then gave a grimace at the thought of her uncle. "He's over there." She nodded toward a patch of thick grass where a flaming red pelt that was dulling could hardly be seen. One more silent tear slipped before Loghtningstorm padded toward the tom's lifeless body.
