(Fanfic) Longtail remembers.

SPOILERS FOR FADING ECHOES.

Longtail is my favorite cat so I made a short story of him!
Summary:
Longtail remembering his life as he dies.

It happened so fast. One moment he was getting Mousefur's mouse then the tree fell. Pain was all over his body though he could feel his life ebbing away and the pain slowly followed.

He was dieing.

There was so much he would miss. Chatting with Mousefur and Purdy, smelling the scents of Greenleaf, feeling the comfort of his clanmates. He smiled at the thought. Would his clanmates miss him? He couldn't really do that much because of his blindness.
He couldn't feel his limbs now. He rested his head on the stone hollow's floor and closed his sightless eyes.

He remembered how he used to look up to Tigerstar and Darkstripe. How they were his best friends and they betrayed Thunderclan. He would have to apologize to Bluestar in Starclan if that was where he was going. Was his clan going to be safe while he was gone. For a moment he thought before smiling. Of course Firestar would make sure Thunderclan survives. Once in his lifetime Longtail would have mocked the brave leader, though now he couldn't have more respect for him. Knowing his clan would be in safe paws he could hear Starclan calling him, and he died.

He died happy.
