Thunder Strikes RPG

The luscious green forest was unusually quiet, the only sound that filled the hot, heavy air was heavy feet smashing through the delicate underbrush and the occasional loud shout of a twoleg. The whole forest was empty, no prey filled the branches of the many looming trees or scattered undergrowth as the many twolegs had either scared off what little prey remained or hunted it for their own selfish needs. Thunderclan cats are going hungry due to the twolegs hunting and stealing all the prey in the forest, and have set their sights on the plentiful bounty that roams the moor.

Thunderclan has set their sights on Windclan's territory, and have decided to try and take a large portion of the moorland! It's up the small amount of warrior's Windclan has to defend their territory from the starving clan!
(this RPG can go either way, so whoever wins gets the chunk of disputed territory)

RULES:

*No god-modding someone's character
*No double posting
*Windclan and Thunderclan Members only
*Do not kill someone else's character without permission!
*No unrealistic battle powers (Such as being able to take on several cats and emerge without any injuries etc)

Roguestar padded out of the leader's den, stomach growling. It was a nice, lovely morning. The skies were clear and the trees a nice, vibrant green. It would've been perfect for hunting, had the twolegs not come stomping along. It was because of those clumsy creatures that the prey vanished. Those twolegs and their hunting and stomping, Roguestar thought as her stomach growled again, But I have to do something before everyone starves. She glanced at the fresh-kill pile, worried as it was running low. This would be the third day without eating for her, as she had noticed the pile growing low. Not moving from her sitting stance, Roguestar watched, waiting for the rest of the Clan to wake up.

Ghostfur padded out of the warrior's den early, feeling the dull pain of hunger as he walked through the camp. He didn't pay much attention to the nice weather as he immediately focused on the fresh-kill pile, and he began thinking about patrols. He had already given the border patrols orders to catch prey should they come across any, but even so Ghostfur knew that there just wasn't enough prey in the forest thanks to the twolegs. At this rate he'll soon end up following Roguestar's example and stop eating to save more for the others in the clan. "Good morning Roguestar." Ghostfur said in greeting when he noticed the clan leader sitting in the clearing, and walked over to join her.

Silverstream ducked out of the warriors den as she glanced around the clearing. It was still quiet and she was sure the early morning patrols must have left already. She couldn't help but notice the fresh kill pile was dwindling lately and coming across prey was becoming more and more rare. The silver warrior let out a disappointed sigh as she headed over to a warmer, sunnier part of the clearing, hoping that the warmth would distract her from her hunger.

She looked around after settling into the grass and caught sight of Ghostfur and Roguestar, assuming that they were talking about the lack of food in the clan. It was the last thing she wanted to think about. Instead she shook her head and rested it on her paws, protesting to herself how tired her body was becoming without food.

Lilacstar stepped out from the cool shade of her den, pausing to stretch in the warmth of the cloudless Newleaf sky. Sitting back up, she wrapped her tail around her paws as she sat still and observed her bustling camp. "I should probably check and see if Stormfrost has organized all of today's patrols yet." Lilacstar thought absently, staring at the long, lush moorland grass. "Newleaf has been good to the clan so far, but Thunderclan was looking fairly slim at the last gathering. I wonder if they'll try anything." Lilacstar pondered, her eyes following a stray hawk in the sky.

After sitting still for several heartbeats and observing the lone hawk in the sky, Lilacstar hauled herself to her paws and trekked over to the fresh-kill pile, noting its fullness as she sat waiting patiently for her deputy and the rest of the clan to stir.

Stormfrost awoke in the warriors' den to the sun shining brightly in her face. She stretched her lean body out, then got up and carefully padded out of the den, making sure not to make any noise or step on anyone. She noticed Lilacstar sitting by the fresh-kill pile, and she made her way towards her leader. "Morning, Lilacstar," she called.

Moorstrike awoke to a lack of warmth in the nest he usually shared with Lilacstar. He flattened his ears for a moment, curling into a bony ball, before standing and shaking his pelt out. Where's Lilac...? he wondered, staying stock-still as he considered, before realizing that she would have left the den already to check on the Clan. It was a good new-leaf for WindClan, but she did insist on being there for her Clan. He slunk out of the den, looking around with eyes narrowed in the sun, before heading over to Lilacstar and Stormfrost with a mew of greeting.

Roguestar shifted a bit, turning her gaze towards Ghostfur. She plastered on a smile and clawed at the ground below her, an attempt to keep her worries away from her mind. Her thoughts had been nonstop on the topic of starvation and keeping her Clan fed, hoping that a miracle would happen and the prey would return to the forest. But she knew that it wouldn't happen soon enough, and that the Clan would starve if she didn't do something. She dug her claws a bit deeper before replying to the deputy.
"Good morning, Ghostfur," she returned his greeting, "Have the patrols been organized?"

"Yes, the dawn patrol should be almost done and back here shortly. Hopefully they found some prey while they were out, Starclan knows we could use some fresh-kill." Ghostfur replied with another glance over at the dismal fresh-kill pile. It was starting to become obvious that the prey wasn't going to return soon enough to feed the clan, and Ghostfur feared the other clans might try and take advantage of Thunderclan's hunger, he knew they were already looking leaner than normal when they went to that last gathering and it's already been a few days since then.

"And about patrols and prey, I wanted to ask if you had any plans to find new hunting grounds? I don't think the prey will be returning anytime soon, and the other clans might try and take our territory while we're starving. Perhaps I could go and check some places I know outside of the clan territories for prey?" Ghostfur asked Roguestar hesitantly. Ghostfur was about as fond of the idea of looking beyond their borders for prey as the next cat, but he refused to let Thunderclan die like his old rogue clan did, Ghostfur felt he needed to do something.

"Good morning Stormfrost." Lilacstar meowed warmly, moving over slightly to give the other she-cat room to sit as well.

"Have you given any thought to today's patrols? I want the borders secure so we don't have any rogue's wandering into our territory!" Lilacstar stated, slightly amused.
"The last thing we need is a bunch of pesky loners wandering through the territory again!" She thought with a huff, absently washing her face for several moments. When she noticed Moorstrike stirring from their den and heading towards herself and Stormfrost, she gave a little purr of welcome.

Ravenfall padded out of the warriors den, stopping to stretch as soon as the sunlight hit his pelt. His eyes scanned over the clearing, spotting the leader and deputy talking to one another. Out of curiosity, and the fact that they were right in front of the fresh kill pile, Ravenfall walked over. He looked at the many delicacies on the pile, eyes landing on a nice, plump thrush. Before even touching it, he stepped back and greeted his superiors, "Hello Lilacstar, Stormfrost."

Any slight hesitancy Moorstrike had at interrupting the doubtless important conversation between his leader and deputy vanished at the purr from his mate and the approach of Ravenfall. He relaxed and padded forward, taking a seat next to Lilacstar and the fresh kill pile and pressing their coats together, ears perked up as he waited to hear Stormfrost's plans. He would prefer to stay with Lilacstar, but with the small size of their Clan, it was only too likely that he would be needed on a patrol.

Lilacstar intertwined her tail with Moorstrike's, resting slightly against his wiry frame. The wind picked up slightly, the warm breeze buffeting all the cats fur while the grass surrounding the camp waved wildly.

"Good morning Ravenfall." Lilacstar chuckled at the tom, noticing how he stared at the fresh-kill pile hungrily.

"Go ahead and get something to eat," She advised warmly, "You'll need your strength for patrols." She scooted out of the way for the tom.

Frostbite's eyes snapped open, and she let loose a huge yawn. Her stomach rumbled with hunger, so she got to her paws, and padded out of the den, narrowing her eyes as the bright sun hit her pelt, lighting it up like freshly fallen snow. She walked to the group that was gathered near the fresh-kill pile. "Mornin' guys!"she greeted happily. "Morning, Stormfrost and Lilactstar," she greeted her leader and deputy more politely. Her stomach grumbled loudly again, and she blushed a bit, scuffling her paws. "Ehehe... sorry about that."
