RiverClan RPG: Dried Up

Rules

• Anyone may join.
• Anyone outside of RiverClan must fill out a character form, but RiverClan members can just roleplay themselves without filling out a form.
•There is a maximum of one character per person.
• No god-modding or killing other members characters
• You must follow all Offical RPG rules and site rules
• Wait until your character is accepted before you start roleplaying (RiverClan members, please post to let me know if you're joining the rp, we'll start roleplaying when at least five people have joined).
• You cannot create a character with a high rank such as leader, deputy, or medicine cat, but you can roleplay as a senior warrior or lower rank.
• Have fun!

The Story

This greenleaf has been very hot and dry, and the river has been slowly lower. RiverClan cats have suspected that the heat was causing their main food source to dry up. One night the river suddenly dried up completely, and now RiverClan cats are forced to hunt in the forest in their territory. It has now been nearly half a moon since the river dried up, and it has rained several times, but the river has not returned. Now Streamstar suspects that something else has caused the river to dry up. She is leading a patrol upstream to investigate.

What the RiverClan leader does not know is that beavers have built a dam upstream, keeping water from flowing down into RiverClan territory. Its up to the patrol to find some way to destroy the dam and bring the water back.

"You can lead the first patrol, since you've already been there before," Streamstar meowed to her deputy, "and Sunbeam can lead the second. I'll be coming with your patrol Torrentheart. I want to see for myself what's been blocking the river." After Dreamwhisker and Radioactive volunteered for the second patrol, she said, "You two may join the patrol." She was proud of her clanmates to see them boldy stepping forward to volunteer for a possibly dangerous mission for the sake of their clan. Then she turned back to Sunbeam and Torrentheart. "If there are no more volunteers, you two can chose the rest of the cats for your patrols."

Firestorm stepped up. "I volunteer for the first patrol." he meowed.
Sunbeam thought for a moment. "I'll take Radioactive, Pearldust, Pepperpaw, Tawnyfloer, and Dreamwhisker. If any of you don't want to go, you can tell me now. In the meantime, I will go and get Pearldust and Pepperpaw. I think they went out hunting."

~I'm sorry Sunbeam, but you cannot roleplay Firestorm. There is a one character per person rule. (I'm fine with you roleplaying Pepperpaw, since he's Noxe's character) This rule is to get as many members as possible in a patrol, since this a the main part of the rp, and patrols would be extremely large if everyone had multiple characters~

"Ooh! Ooh! Can I join the patrol? Please? Please!" Flamepaw begged. "I've been laying around camp all day with nothing to do, so I really wanna go! Oh, please please PLEASE!"

(If I am on more during school I may come back Streamy Oh and Flamey if you want you can be Raindrop for now)

"You can go," Streamstar meowed to Flamepaw, her eyes lit up with amusement from the apprentice's enthusiasm, "You'll join the first patrol, so Torrentheart and I can keep an eye on you." Flamepaw was known for her troublemaking, but hopefully she wouldn't cause too much mischief during this important mission.

Sunbeam walked up to Pepperpaw and Pearldust and told them what Torrentheart had found out. "You two are going to be on the second patrol, with me, as long as you don't object?" he asked.

Shellfur had been listening quietly from a distance, though it was not something he was good at. A mission to go see and solve what's blocking the river! This could be exciting! he thought to himself before padding up to where the other cats had started to crowd. "Oh, Streamstar! Can I go on the first patrol! I've always wondered what is was like further upstream!" Shellfur asked, unable to stop himself from giving a little bounce despite his attempts at self control.

Dreamwhisker smiles. "I finally get to do something good for a change." She looks around the clan, watching them to see who all would be in the patrols

Flamepaw nodded happily. "I won't let you down, Stremstar. Not like the last time. Or the time before that. Or the time before that. Or the time before--y'know, I'm just gonna not let you down," she mewed.
