Webmaster's School for Shifters!

Hello there! We are currently in the middle of nowhere! Well, slightly. This place is called Burns, Texas. No regular human knows about it, only the not-so-rare shifter species. Now, I know you're thinking "Oh great, a school full of people who can shift into anything...how fudging original, Lighty..." Well, hold your horses, people and let me explain myself before you go ape armpit on me.

Webmaster is a huge school. The grounds take up two thirds of the city, the other part a seemingly deserted road surrounded by 'empty' forests on either side, just so those nosy humans don't find out about our little slice of heaven behind it. The school section is surrounded firstly by thick forests, dotted with a few manors for staff recreation and such. Next, is a tall wire fence, just so our students are safe and do not go wandering off and possibly find a human to give our secret to. After the fence- which...I think I mentioned is electrified?- is a thick and also tall brick wall for security purposes as well. We have learned from experience it's better safe rather than sorry.

The buildings inside all of that security are mainly either dorms, course buildings, or shops. Dorms are not separated by any criteria other than first come first serve reservations. Students and their parents choose where the student lives and what accommodations are needed. Of course, we can provide most anything, seeing as Webmaster is supported by the government very closely. In fact, our headmaster is vice president! Anyway, course buildings are large and hold up to ten classrooms in each. There is one for each base subject, another for additional courses such as art, Spanish, band, and the like, two for sport activities and PE, and another for shifting sessions to help get to know your inner shifter more. This course is required for all students.The shops are mostly recreational and for food, clothing, school supplies, etc.

As for the students, there is a large variety to them all. Unlike the shifters you are used to seeing, a majority can only shift into one animal. It is very rare to see a person who can shift into whatever they like.

Okay, now that you know of our school, I should explain some rules before giving the registration form. Here they are:

1. You can have up to 4 characters.
2. No perfect characters.
3. Only five characters can shift into anything they want.
4. None of the students are allowed to leave the school grounds.
5. Do not roleplay until accepted.
6. Fill out the form provided.
7. Have fun!

Ally walked through the halls of the school, feeling nervous. Being able to shift into anything was bad enough what's more was she had to be kicked out of her own normal school when someone saw her morph into a falcon. Maybe this won't be so bad. It might be just like my old school, Ally thought. But she doubted it. None of her friends from the other school liked her because she could morph into different stuff. But maybe in this school, she thought, I won't be a misfit. Maybe.

Naomi walked down the long hallway. She grasped the cuff on her green sweater. Her brown ankle boots clicked on the floor. She was starving. She headed towards the food court, her stomach growling.

Ptolemy and Daria walked down the hall side by side. Daria had naturally wavy hair, so it was straightened a bit with a windblown look to it. She wore no make up and skinny jeans with a black and white Paramore shirt as well as all black converse. Ptolemy had his hair mostly bed-head as usual and mussed to look like he at least tried a little to make his hair semi-brushed. He always was kind of sloppy. With a dark blue v-neck, dark-washed jeans, and dark vans, he was ready for school.

The duo both carried a bag of some sort along with an extra item for extracurricular activities later that day. Emmy's bag was a black and dark blue checkered drawstring. In his right hand, he toted a duffel bag full of equipment for this upcoming season of football, which was a big thing in Webmaster. Dare hefted a blood red ruck sack with Dare printed in black and a guitar case with her favorite bands stickered all over it. She loved her guitar and even named it. Music was her life.

Another telltale give away that she like music was her skullcandy headphones blaring Skillet and her jamming to the beat. Ptolemy gave her an amused look, but kept silent, knowing what his sister would do to him if he interrupted her morning dose of loud music. The consequences were never good.

Ptolemy was too bus chuckling at his sister to notice that she was about to crash into someone until it was too late. Mid headbang, she conked her forehead on the others and landed on her butt with a thud. Her guitar case flopped onto the linoleum just as hard with a sharp bam.

"Oww!! You'd better hope Lori's okay..." she growled angrily, looking around for her fallen earbuds and iPhone. "And Steve too...he was rocking with me to Skillet." her gray eyes glared up at who she'd bumped into as she ignored Ptolemy's guffawing in the background.

Naomi settled for the Thai food vendor. Sitting down to eat her Extra Spicey Pad Thai with Thai tea, she checked her phone. No texts from her friends at home. She sighed as she put it away. She pulled out her note book out of her backpack and began to write and doodle.

"Hey!" Esme tripped and stumbled into the bus doors, bruising her shoulder painfully. Rubbing her forehead, she looked down at the girl that had crashed into her.

She was pretty, with dark hair and gray eyes like her older sister's. What was different was that this pair eyes were glaring. Brynne usually looked down at her a sisterly sort of irritation.

Esme frowned, confusion written all over her narrow face. "Uhm... Sorry about that." Who the heck is Lori and Steve? There was no one else there but the stranger girl, and another boy, and herself. Brynne was late, and was coming later. She stretched out hand, offering it to the girl to help her up. The boy's laughing certainly wasn't helping the faint blush of embarrassment on her cheeks, although at least there was nobody else to witness the commotion.
