DF RP: The New Leaders

We'll start off the roleplay with Aere and I becoming Dark Forest Leaders. Some DF members who are part of a Clan will have to choose whether they want their old Clan's badge and rank or the DF badge and rank. PM Bot if you want to change your badge and rank.

As you guys roleplay, we need ideas for the following. Just name your thoughts together with your RP post!

- Significant places of the Dark Forest
- Name for the place where leaders give announcements

"Aere!" Phantom sprinted across the clearing towards the other she-cat, suddenly feeling as excited as an apprentice. "Congratulations, sister," She mewed, a purr rumbling in her throat softly.

It was probably a mistake you made, Forestblaze, but check back next time, will you?

Rockpaw watched Aere knock Sparkpaw over, then nodded, signalling that it was time to rely on strengths. She broke into a run, dodging trees and jumping over obstacles. She didn't look back, worried that it might slow her down. She got faster as she ran, not stopping for even a second.

Meanwhile, Wolfspirit saw Feral send the two toms sailing as well and leaped into a nearby tree, staring down at Feral. She surveyed the area, looking for an area where she could sneak up on Feral. She watched Forestblaze attack Feral, as she continued looking for a possible area to attack the tom. She jumped off the tree, staying hidden. She stayed in the shadows, sneaking up on Feral and Forestblaze. She dashed over to Forestblaze, and pulled her off of Feral, throwing her on the ground. She unsheathed her claws and stood so where it would look like she hit Forestblaze with her claws unsheathed. When she started scratching the she-cat, she sheathed her claws as she hit the cat, the unsheathed them as she drew them away. "Go with it," she whispered, continuing the fake scratching. Wolfspirit kept making it look like she was on Feral's side before she whipped around, and not giving Feral any time to react, she rammed into the tom, sending him into the river. She grinned and helped Forestblaze up.

Auburnpaw saw familiar green eyes standing out from the bush. Casually, he looked away, and slunk into the shadows. The apprentice went the opposite way of Viper, but walked towards her, taking the long way, so it'd be less suspicious. When he was about to pounce, I stepped on a branch, crunching it. Mouse dung! I cursed, but still leapt for the black she-cat, only a second later. A wicked smile plastered on my face, I dug my claws into her 'shoulder.' "Viper, I didn't know you train in the dark forest! Why?" I asked curiously, missing my WindClan friend.

~Uhh... Phantom? Could you have feral knock down someone else? Because I really didn't get a chance to reply and I really want Sunbeam to pass the assessment.

~ GUYS, ITS KNOCK DOWN, NOT OUT. THE MOMENT YOU FALL ONTO THE GROUND, YOU'RE OUT ASDFGHJKL. Fine Sunbeam o.o Rocky, it takes a lot of strength to knock down a high-ranked warrior and also such a large cat like Feral. Feral's massive and strong. ~

Feral barely budged from the impact of Wolfspirit's attack. With all his might, he slammed into the other cat from below, sending Wolfspirit crashing into Forestblaze. Stupid cat, what on earth was he thinking?

Phantom occasionally dropped down from a tree on top of a passing cat, lightly sending her opponents gliding across the ground in defeat. She could barely stop herself from purring when she saw cats cannon-balling into each other. As soon as her opponents were down, she disappeared back up into the trees. It was easy for her to pick her victims since the whole place was filled with trees.

Sparkpaw frowned "Mouse Dung!" She got up and shook her pelt grabbing a branch she held it in her mouth signaling that she was out.

Camofrost crept up behind Feral. Leaping onto the other warrior he landed on the cats back knocking him to the ground. Camofrost hissed in his ear. "Nice job." Nodding over toward the heap of fur. Climbing of the mountain of cat he jumped back Minot action.

Sunbeam looked at the masses of cats battling. He dived into the river and submerged himself completely so that he was invisible. It would be harder to eliminate him here, but, on the downside, it would be hard for him to eliminate anyone.

Thin Air jumped out of the shadows onto Auburnpaw. She raked her long claws down his back, hoping to cause him to fall down. She had surveyed the fight, only of few of the cats, including Auburnpaw, Sunbeam, and Rockpaw.

Viper spotted Thin Air attacking Auburnpaw,and so she stalked through the bushes almost invisble. With a yowl, Viper launched herself out of the bushes, barreling into the she-cat and using the bulk of her shoulders to small Thin air over into the ground, making her roll for a few seconds, while Viper madly fought for her balance since she nearly lost it taking out Thin Air. Viper looked at Auburnpaw, making sure he was still on his paws, before she hared away, leaping over battling cats with amazing speed, before she vanished into the shadows.

Fell glimpsed a flash of black fur at the edge of her vision, and she wheeled around, immediately going after the cat. Fast meant not as strong, usually. The large golden brown tabby raced forward, paws thrumming the mossy grass as she plowed into Viper.

Aere glanced after Rockpaw and shrugged, moving quickly back over the river. She swarmed up a slender birch, choosing specifically this tree because cats larger and heavier than her would have a hard time following her up. More than half the cats were out now; only the stronger, wiser, or luckier were left. She couldn't see Phantom (she was probably in a tree like her), Sunbeam as nowhere in sight (he may be in the dense trees or the Dark River), and of course Rockpaw, who had run off.

~I reread The Last Hope yesterday, and there was a training rock beside the river. And a pile of logs somewhere near where the cats trained.~

Camofrost climbed into a tree. His lean figure helped him balance on light branches. He looked at the branch in front of him. Spotting Aere he smiled creeping up behind her he pricked her with a claw hoping the surprise would knock her off the tree. Being a high ranked warrior, he knew the she-cat wouldn't easily be frightened.

Forestblaze stumbled over, but she didn't fall. She was big for a former Windclan cat, and she whipped her head around to see that it was Feral. She darted towards the tom and pounced. She purposely missed and yanked his tail by suprise.

Viper heard the thumping noise of paws following her. Viper tasted the air. Fell
And suddenly Fell was plowing into her, Viper ducked, avoiding last second, panting. Fell went skidding ahead of her. Viper turned tail, and fast as the wind herself(And fear of losing giving her speed), she raced until tree's and bushes blended together alike.
"Fell is defenately stronger, so I'll have to out run her. Fell isn't very fast, so she makes up for it in strength, so I can hopefully outrun her." Viper decided, she made a sharp right, exploding into the clearing, panting, she raced ahead, paws skiddding along the slippery grass. She stopped under a tree, stilling her self, breathing through her nose to hide her panting, and soon, she was just a shadow.She waited for Fell to make a reaperance. But seeing FOrestblaze, remembering their days training together, she knew they could make a formidable team, she darted to her side, and panted, "Sorry I'm late. I was being chased by Fell." She said, grinning. She cuffed Feral, and being to box his ears.

Aere whipped around, and shoved Camofrost, following the move up with a lunge so she was sitting where Camofrost had been, withe the warrior dangling from the branch by his claws."Idiot," she snapped. "Next time, take the advantage of suprise with more than a prick!" Aere shoved him off the branch, and just in case, followed him down. Making sure Camofrost didn't land on his paws, Aere herself landed neatly and clawed her way up another birch.

Fell flicked her ears in annoyance, and headed back to the main area. A lot of the cats were down, and Feral was getting bullied by at least two cats. Sensing an unfair battle, she charged, her large paws suprisingly quiet on the short grass. Fell came behind Forestblaze, her claws hooking into the warrior's fur as she jerked her away from Feral. She swept her legs out from under her, and leaped back quickly so she was facing the others.

Viper bristled at the take down, but now she was outnumbered. Turning tail, Viper leaped, clearing Fell's head, and landed before turning around, sicking her tounge out tauntingly, before turning on a flick of her tail, and haring away, leaping and dodging bushes until she was completely gone, bushes shaking in her wake.

Lightningstorm and Frozenglare sat in the shadows, watching the cats in battle intently. "Hmmm...where is..." Lightningstorm muttered to herself, looking for Sunfire with a bit of panic. Maybe he was killed twice? OH no...that wouldn't do! For some reason, Lightningstorm found herself freaking out at the thought of the tom leaving forever. "Uh...do you see him, Frozenglare?" she whispered quietly.

Frozenglare frowned deeper than usual. He knew who she was talking about and didn't like it. He had a feeling that stupid tom was going to take his cousin from him. It made his pelt crawl with disgust. "No." he growled grumpily. "I don't see that little rat anywhere..." he continued with a silent snarl.

Lightningstorm shrugged. "Fine. No need to be so cranky, cousin." sticking her tongue out, Lightning stood to join the fray. "Hmmm, who to train with..I'm tired of training with my boring, cranky cousin." she mewed teasingly, knowing it may anger the large grump.

"Be careful." Frozenglare smirked, cuffing her upside the head with affection in his eyes. "You clumsy oaf"

Lightningstorm chuckled and padded off to find a fighting partner...and to find Sunfire...maybe.

Forestblaze almost fell, but Sunfire caught her before she did. "Careful." he smiled, and leaped away to find Lightningstorm.

Forestblaze thought, I'm in a bad mood, can't I just skip the game? She got into a tree and just stared at the cats, watching them.

Lightningstorm spotted Sunfire and found herself beaming. "Hey! I was wondering where you had slithered off to, you snake!" she chuckled, relief filling her now warm eyes.

Sunfire smiled, "I was trying to get Sunbeam out and finally did. And my mom's in a bad mood. Team?" he asked warmly. He looked around and meowed, "Wanna go for Fell? If we get her we're bound to become warriors!"

"Unlike you I'm already a warrior, mouse-brain!" she teased, nudging him playfully. "I think that's a great idea though. With my speed and your strength, we're bound to win that fight!" excitement filled her honey golden gaze.

"Alright. Let's go." He crouched down in the shadows and tried to find Fell. There! he got on his haunches and whispered, "NOW!" he lunged at the she-cat and waited for Lightningstorm to hurry and help.

Sparkpaw saw Forestblaze in a tree she climbed up. Noticing her grumpy expression she mewed "Hold this," handing her the stick she continued "And the other cats sill think your out. If you don't want to play that is considering you just died today, I'd be grumpy too." She mewed.

Camofrost landed on his paws and hissed. Bounding away her noticed Viper running from Fell. He eyes the she-cats and ran toward Fell. With a yowl he landed on her back using his wait to squash her onto the ground. (It wasn't clear weather Aere gotbme, but I still want t RP and Sparkpaw is out.)

Lightning shot from her spot as fast as her namesake and bunched up her muscles to spring at the powerful she-cat.

~Woah why is everyone targeting Fell?~

Fell shook Camofrost off; he was light and skinny compared to her bulk. Flipping the tom over so he sprawled on his back, she hopped back just in time to take most of the power out of Sunfire's lunge. "Just defeating a high-ranked warrior in a game won't make you a warrior," she warned him, knocking him in the shoulder when he turned back to call to Lightningstorm. "Wait until you get your Final Assessment," Fell hissed. She struck out at Lightningstorm as she leaped, and backed away, narrowing her eyes. As strong and expierenced as she may be, Fell wasn't about to take on two cats, especially when everyone seemed to be targeting her. She stumbled slightly as her paw bumped a rock, and immediately swerved to one side, expecting a blow.

Aere leaped to her paws, green gray eyes alight with interest. Only a pawful of cats were left, and they were all targeting the visible one: Fell. Her whiskers twitched, ears swiveling to catch the warrior's words. It was true to an extent. Besides, Sunfire would have to defeat a cat by himself without the help of a full Dark Forest warrior to become a warrior himself.Aere let out an inaudible sigh and sat down again. This would be interesting to watch.
