DF RP: The New Leaders

We'll start off the roleplay with Aere and I becoming Dark Forest Leaders. Some DF members who are part of a Clan will have to choose whether they want their old Clan's badge and rank or the DF badge and rank. PM Bot if you want to change your badge and rank.

As you guys roleplay, we need ideas for the following. Just name your thoughts together with your RP post!

- Significant places of the Dark Forest
- Name for the place where leaders give announcements

"Aere!" Phantom sprinted across the clearing towards the other she-cat, suddenly feeling as excited as an apprentice. "Congratulations, sister," She mewed, a purr rumbling in her throat softly.

"No, you're wrong," Aere hissed, her words clipped with anger. She joined her sister, claws unsheathed and staring at Forestblaze with unmasked hostility. "There is nothing stronger than a friendship so strong it becomes family." Aere narrowed her eyes in that calculating way of hers and added, "But what matters is now. We're leaders now. We have the power, so therefore, we can make you an apprentice! Leader or no, we were high-ranked warriors when you were an apprentice."

Can't they realize that now with both leaders angry, Sunfirepaw may never even have a chance to become a warrior? Fell thought, tilting her head in bemusement. She'd been standing back watching, not taking any action. Yet. It was just a single scratch on that apprentice's cheek anyways. What was there problem? It was a small price to pay to become a warrior.

Sunbeam stepped back nervously. Their would be blood if Forestblaze continued to defy her leaders. He padded up to stand beside Phantom and Aere. "I'm loyal to my leaders, even if you aren't!" He snarled at her. He looked foolhardy at Phantom and Aere. "Say the word." He meowed to them.

( lol, Forestblaze was made a high-ranked warrior only recently too )

"You question my leadership? If so, why aren't you a leader now?" Phantom challenged the she-cat, her unblinking eyes cold and hard. "I've come to my decision. Nothing will change for you, Forestblaze. Your son will bear your punishment."

She ended her statement with a heavy sigh. She didn't want any of these to happen but she hated being questioned or shown defiance. Forestblaze was once her good friend too and Sunfirepaw had a lot of potential to become a warrior.

"Sunbeampaw will have his warrior ceremony instead. There will be no assessment unless your mother admits her mistakes," Phantom told Sunfirepaw evenly.

"I know I've made a mistake! And anyways, don't do anything like that to my son again. Again, never anger a mother." Forestblaze snarled. Sunfire looked at his mother, confused about what was going on. But he meowed, "How does she affect when I'll be a warrior? She's not me!"

"I want you to apologise to me," Phantom continued. "I'm the leader here, you're not. I earned this power and I will use it. You know perfectly well that you can't beat me by yourself." Just a simple apology... is it too hard?

The silver-furred she-cat shot a glare at Sparkpaw. The good-for-nothing apprentice insulted her sister. How dare she! Phantom would make her suffer. Everything has its consequences.

Thunderclaw opened his eyes to the Dark Forest.Here again.He waited for a Dark Forest cat to appear.

Sparkpaw stood up with her legs shaking and her eyes so wide, you could see a ring of white around the deep amber color. She looked at Phantom and saw her gaze on her. "Ah," she screamed and backed away, her tail wrapped around the front of her body, fur bristling, and hissing.

Camofrost cuffed Aere's ear. "What have you done to my..." his voice trailed off as he remembered that Sparkpaw, his daughter, was standing there. She thinks that Brackenclaw is her father. "Why did you attack her like that? She barley touched you!" he mewed, not wanting to get on his leader's bad side he said. "I understand she deserved to be taught not to talk back, but there really was no reason to leave her half-dead! She's and Apprentice!" he exclaimed.

Viper was instantly in front of Sparkpaw, her eyes
Narrowed as they darted back and forth. Calming down slightly, Viper turned around, gently pressing her soft black fur against Sparkpaw.
"What's wrong, Sparkpaw?" Viper mewed gently, before standing up, still pressed against her daughter as she watched Camofrost, Aere, Phantom, Forestblaze, Sunfire-paw, and Sunbeam-paw with wary eyes. Vipers body was coiled in case she had to push Sparkpaw out of the way if a fight broke out.

Doveshine padded in "Sorry I'm late," She murmured. "My denmates kept me awake."

"I'm sorry. Better? Or do you want more from me, which you're not going to get? I shouldn't have any effect on his warrior ceremony. He was late and he paid the price and even admited his mistake! Deal with it, Phantom. You don't always get what you want." Forestblaze snarled. Sunfire meowed, "She apologized. You asked for nothing more." He was careful to stay calm and not snap at her.

Thunderclaw padded through the forest till he found a lot of gathered cats."Hey...?"He trailed off when he saw the bristling fur.

Aere narrowed her eyes on Camofrost. "Think next time before you cuff me," she hissed, her voice dangerously quiet. "Sparkpaw needed a lesson in respect. And I gave her it, nothing more. Please, she's hardly half-dead!" The lean brown tabby pointedly looked at the standing figure of Sparkpaw.

Sunfire growled, "So I'm the only one who gets punished for being late and these guys don't? Punishment teaches you respect." He hated everyone right now. His gash had stopped bleeding and he was a little unbalanced, after all of the blood loss.

"Let's just begin the Final Assessment for both of Sunpaws," Phantom hissed with frustration. She would deal with the rest later. "It'll be right in the middle of camp. As you can see, we have already set up your boundaries. Your aim is to get your opponent out of the boundary. Am I clear?"

"I'm ready." Sunbeam-paw meowed. He walked into the circle and looked tauntingly at Sunfire-paw. An angry opponent is a careless one. he thought yo himself. "Or do you need to wait until that horrible wound has healed?" He rolled his eyes at the word "horrible".

Doveshine unsheathed her claws. "Hello, I joined the Dark Forest to train, not to stand here and have everyone ignoring me!" She growled, her bloodred eyes gleaming in the darkness.

"Doveshine," Feral growled, silencing the she-cat with a glare. "It's Sun(fire)paw's and Sun(beam)paw's Final Assessment. You will train after its over." His eyes narrowed at the AwesomeClan she-cat with distaste and annoyance.

Doveshine dipped her head. "Very well, I shall wait."

Sparkpaw looked at her mother "A-Aere attacked me.. that's all." she mewed, trying to make her mew stronger. She was still breathing heavily.

Camofrost hissed at Aere "I'm not afraid of you and I WILL stand up for my daughter." he mewed, louder than expected, he hoped that Viper hadn't heard.

"So she's your daughter?" Aere's ears twitched. "Well, let me tell you this, Camofrost. You will be quiet for the assessment until I take care of you later... Or I'll do more than just attack you precious little daughter." She turned her back on the warrior and went to Phantom, several fox-lengths away. "Disobedience, disrespect, and lack of common sense seems to run in the family," Aere commented ominously under her breath to her sister. "We need to establish the fact that we are now the leaders, and we are not to be questioned or answered back to."

"Camofrost, snapping and throwing a fit like a fox with a thorn in it's paw isn't doing any good. Maybe you should be quiet for a few moments, and Sparkpaw would be able to Calm down without you throwing a fit." Viper scolded, sitting next to Sparkpaw, blocking her from Camofrost, but Sparkpaw could still lean against her mother and watch the ceremonial thingy. Viper's eyes gleamed as she watched, remembering the time she had won her way as a senior warrior. She had fought a battle scarred, raggged old fool, who claimed that she wasn't worthy. She had shut him up alright. No one ever really saw him again. A dark look arose into Viper green eyes, marring them with wicked enjoyment.

Sunbeam-paw waited impatiently in the circle. "Are you coming? Or are you scared?" He taunted Sunfire-paw. "I'm ready when you are." He meowed tauntingly. What was Sunfire-paw waiting for? Didn't he see that Phantom and Aere wouldn't give him a second chance?

"Impatient much?" Sunfire-paw hissed, "Shut up so we can fight. Talking never does any good when it comes to a fight. Oh, and about your comment earlier, no, it's not horrible. Thanks for asking." He got in a ready position, and waited for Phantom's cue.

Forestblaze sat by Viper, wanting to stay away from Phantom. She doesn't know how much Sunfire means to me.

Sunbeam stared deep into his opponents eyes, waiting for Phantom's signal. His amber eyes we're cold and calculating. He noticed his opponents weight was well balanced. Sunbeam-paw planned his strategy...
