Description: tall, athletic girl with dark green eyes and long, glossy black hair and skin that looks tanned year-round. She is strong from her intense training with her fellow Hunters; skilled in the art of archery and a well-known expert with the sword. She is more friendly and trusting then her friends, although she is very observant and can come down harsh when the need arises.

Other: The sword Sala had used was actually Cadence's. It is one of the most valuable swords in the world, made with the best material. Cadence had been in the Life-Bringer's group a decade or so before, but she left mysteriously to join the Hunters. She had accidentally left her precious sword behind, and Sala had taken it up for her own. She has a blood-red capall uisce stallion called Corr. Despite the fact that Hunters do not usually have horses, Corr was given as a gift by Tobias, one of Cadence's best friends when she was 14.

Tobias eyed the Hunter quietly as he worked, draining and filtering the river water using moss. The mud and twigs made the water filthy, and even boiling wouldn't properly make the water drinkable if debris was still swirling inside. Skata picked her way over to the liver gracefully, nostrils flaring as the piebald nosed the bloody organ. A moment later, her sharp teeth sank into the liver, tearing away strips as the uisce began to eat. Tobias grimaced and looked away. Even though he loved Skata and had been with her for years, he still was not used to seeing a normal-looking horse enjoying meat, having no qualms about tearing the throat of another human being or animal. He tossed the mud clots away, pausing as Skata's bloody muzzle swung into his line of vision.

"Yeah. About a quarter mile west." Amber replied, "I'm going to go hunting so we can all have something. Might as well get water on the way." she shrugged. She got her knife and silently stalked the forest. She saw a deer, and she smilled. Perfect! She aimed her knife a little above the side, and she threw it. It landed right in it's side, and the deer cried in pain, and fell limp to the ground. It was a male, so she took it by the antler and dragged it over to the stream. She got a bunch of water and came back. "I got a deer and lots of water." she smiled, starting to cut off the head of the deer.

Madison eyed Amber, her eyes full of grief, she was feeling happier at the moment so she walked toward the girl and her German shepard followed. Thorn nodded awkwardly and he started to inspect the deer, he tore off a piece for himself. He dropped it at her feet and began to tear the pieces that he could eat, but She, Tom, and Amber couldn't.

Amber looked at Thorn, hurt in her eyes. She clenched her fist, her eyes full of tears. They knew why she was so mad all the time, since Titus and Faith are dead. She grumbled, "I'll be back." and she walked out of the camp, and you could hear a scream and things being destroyed. She came back, her knuckles bloody. "Sorry..." she murmured, "It's just that Faith... a-and Titus are gone, and Thorn reminds me of Faith..." She burst into tears, her head on her knees.

Madison knelt down and patted Amber on the back "It's alright." She soothed and hugged her friend, she flicked Thorn dissmissivly and he grabbed his meat and trotted up to Tom starting to headbutt the boy. She grabbed Amber's hand "Come on Amber, lets go for a walk, I know how you feel." She said distractedly as memory filled her mind.

"My dad used to take me fishing here, I though you'd like it!"
"I'll never understand young love."
"That's classic! Madison, you're the best!"

She shivered and helped Amber up.

What group are Amber and Madison from?

they're the Death-Bringer survivors. they're in a separate place than the rebels, i think.

Ryder returned to the makeshift home with three sparrows and a net full of fish. She set them down in the "kitchen", which was actually a fire pit and a large basin of water. She pulled out her switch blade and began to sharpen her arrows again. She noticed the others' catches; decent. Actually, not bad at all, seeing as they were larger than hers, anyway. She felt impatient to discuss recruits for the rebellion.

~Yeah. They escaped the battle and ran into an unknown part of the forest, and they're staying there. Only Amber, Tom, and Madison are there, though.~

Amber choked, "O-Ok..." She slowly got up, watching the german shepard go. "Tom, want to stay, or go with us? If you stay, you can start cooking the deer." Amber smiled at Tom. She looked at Madison, sadness flowing through her. She's gone through a lot, and so have I. Maybe it's a good time for a walk.

Cadence got up as Ryder came back in. She helped her skin the scales of the fish. "We should eat the fish tonight," she suggested. "It spoils much faster than any other meat, and we can salt the rest of the sparrows we don't eat, and save it for travelling." Deftly, the Hunter tossed out the organs of the fish, burying the odorous remains underneath an elder bush. "Best not to leave anything in full view. It could attract attention from the Royalty." Cadence started to slice chunks of fish into a pot for stew as she spoke again, "Speaking of Royalty, we need to find the rest of the rebel groups."

~ Is my character accepted? ~

Hei walked over to Cadence and Ryder, plopping himself next to them. He found an empty bowl and extended it. "Do I get a share too?" He asked, a vexed expression on his face. He glowered at Cadence.

Sapphire stared at Hei's extended bowl then she shook herself and looked at the arriving food. Her mouth practically watered at the sight of the birds. She waited until everyone else had something to eat before she took what she needed.

Madison walked with Amber and she turned to her "I'm really sorry Amber. It seems every battle lose something. Last time two. Our ambitions got the best of us and took our lives. When one Death-Bringer dies. The whole group dies." She said, it might have been the wisest thing she had ever said.

"A very true saying." Tom said wearily. "I'll come with you two." Tom said standing up. "We can use all the meat we can get." He picked up his bow and tied the bow string to one end, then bent the bow and tied the bowstring to the other end. He strapped his knife in his belt.
"We need to find out if anyone else survived the fight. We also need to know where the hunters and Life givers are."

As Jackie entered the tavern, she immediately noticed a tall man with long blonde hair sitting in a corner. He fitted the description that the captured spies had told her. Out of the corner of her eye she noticed the bar tender looking nervous. She also noted two men making there way on a course to intercept her before she got within striking distance of the man. She quickened her pace. The men quickened theirs'. She stopped and said directly to the men," I command you to stop in the name of the king!"
The men acted like she hadn't said anything.

"There won't be a next battle! The Death-Bringers are gone! The other ones who survived are Life-Givers now! If we found one, they're kill us or drive us out!" Amber started crying again, obviously angry. She clenched her fists, but did nothing else.

~Oh sorry, Phan. I didn't see the thing you made for Hei. :O And sure, he can be good friends with Cadence. ~

Cadence frowned at Hei's glower, and nudged him with the hilt of her kitchen knife. "It's not done yet, silly," she muttered, dusting a handful of spices into the boiling pot. Stirring the stew with a long wooden stick, the Hunter chopped onions into thin strips, rolling them in a clear sauce before dropping them into the stew as well. It now smelled delicious, and her stomach rumbled appreciatively. "Good fish," Cadence said to herself.

~er... what's happening? ~

Riley entered the kitchen, wrinkling her nose at the strong aroma of [whatever species that is] and onions. "Fish? Ew... but that stew looks good." She looked around. "Can I help?"

Ryder took the shoulder part of the deer, rubbing it with olive oil and tucking rosemary underneath its skin. She sprinkled salt and while black pepper on top. She sighed, wishing their we're lemon trees in the area. Impaling the meat with a stick, she suspended it over the fire, reminding herself to turn it over every once in a while. The fat began dripping off within minutes. Eli was a decent butcher.

Seeing Ryder glance around, Cadence pulled out a small bottle from her leather pouch and offered it to her. "Lemon juice," she explained. "I like to collect things." She showed Ryder how to use the holes drilled into the cap, to use them to carefully pour the juice out. "But if you need a whole lot, just remove the cap." Cadence turned her attention to carefully stir the stew again, before taking it out of the fire. Tenebris nosed her and whined, something hanging from his jaws. Leaning down, Cadence picked up the paper bag. "Flour! Oh, I forgot to make the bread." She tore a strip from the deer, giving it to her wolf as a treat. Leaning over the ashes of the fire, she began to mix the flour and water, adding a little salt as she rolled it in the coals and left it there to "bake."

~where are they? and what about the LGs?~

Riley coughed. "I can help you..." She caught Cadence's arm and added yeast to the dough mixture. "You forgot to add this... and now it won't be fluffy..." She looked around and took an apple, carefully peeling it and carving it into the shape of a wolf. She put the extra pieces on a plate for whoever wanted to eat it.

~ So what positions can Hei have? Is there a Weapon Master? Can Hei be one? ~

Hei mentally cursed himself for not noticing. "Where were you in the morning?" He asked Cadence, twirling his grappling hook. He took out a cloth and started cleaning the edges of the blades until it gleamed.

Eli laid against a tree, humming a soft tune as he started to doze off.

Silver trotted in behind Jackie eagerly, he steps bouncy, making her multicolor died hair flow elegantly out behind her. She wore a simple grin on her young features that revealed pure innocence. Everybody knew that was not the case. Silver was well-known as the best and youngest soldier. She was but thirteen years old. The girl wore her usual light, holed up jeans and a bright orange shirt with tons of bracelets to match. Her shoes were ruffed up cowboy boots. "Get out of the way, guys! She's trying to do her job. If you interrupt, I'll have to teach you a lesson...and I really don't wanna hurt children." The girl grinned cheekily but her words were serious.

Madison frowned "I guess we shouldn't bring Thorn. Amber is all worked up about Faith again." She whispered to Tom after she trotted up to him. She looked at her German Sheppard who whined the obeyed, heading for the hut. She nudged Tom "Come on lets get going and this whine-bag can catch up." She shoved him to make him walk and forget what she said about his girlfriend. She was careful not to let Amber hear what she said.

Ryder nodded and dripped lemon juice over the skin. Lemon slices would have a deeper flavour but it would do. She began to set up the sticks that would support the shoulder. She sighed and said,"We need to get more people on our side from the village. We need to get in touch with a labourer so they can contact the rest. What do you two think about this idea?" She turned to Riley and Cadence and washed her hands with a cup, submerging it in the water and watching it float back up after.

Sapphire looked at Ryder "I know you don't rank me high, but in my mind, I don't think we have a choice. There are so few of us Hunters." She put in, not looking up from where she was slicing at the deer and tossing g a couple parts they wouldn't eat to her wolf and her falcon. (He's called Rummage.) Raj prodded hs piece and threw it to (Tenibris?) Who was by Cadence. Sapphire continued to slice and tossed a piece to Rummage.
