shadowclan poem: Poem on Cheesefur:
Cheesefur's version! i like cheese
if you hear something under your bed, and i like this site
it's us, Shadowclan. i'll have a cookie please
we'll scratch your head cuz they're such a delight!
and you'll make a fuss, i am in shadowclan
but we can't be beaten, a clan of mystery
so just give up. and i like to use a frying pan
or we'll make sure your food is eaten, to make others history!
until the very last cup. i am Cheesefur!

Greed lures you away,
Regret eats at you day by day.
Shame weighs you down,
Anger makes you frown.
Happiness makes you smile,

Excitement can make you bounce off the wall,
But satisfaction can top it all.

Why can't i see,
the world that's i'm in,
what's different about me?
i'm still your kin.

because i'm blind,
i cannot seem
to even find,
a floating sun beam.

my dream is to make them all believe,
that anything can be true.
i want to show them i can achieve
anything that is new.

i've been practicing my song,
so people can hear me sing.
i don't think it's wrong
because i can still do something.

so when the time comes,
they listen to my words.
sometimes i hear hums,
like a nest of singing birds.

now they know i'm right
and treat me with respect.
i've always tried with all my might,
and now i have memories to collect.

I wrote a poem about a week ago! Here it is:

Moon shining over the roaring surf
Its silvery light dancing over the waves
Calling the tide in to its berth
Under the eaves of the caves

Sun shining over the peaceful land
Its golden light skimming o’er the surface
Heating the earth with a faithful hand
Yet no one can look into its face

Stars shining in the skies
Their glittering light inspiring beauty
Until the darkness dies
Fulfilling their eternal duty

God looking down on the whole world
Seeking His people to please Him
Those that have faith, will never be hurled
From his awesome presence, that will never dim

The Random Poem

the bananas are ripe!
the noodles are raw,
let's grease that pipe!
i want some slaw.

let's play hide and seek!
no, i like tag
hey, don't peek.
then i'll wear a bag.

my socks are gone
my lunch is cold
it's almost dawn
my foot's growing mold!

can i have some juice?
gummy bears are tasty.
that's no excuse!
glue is pasty.

i like pie.
i like fish.
i have a black eye!
that cake is delish.

i have a balloon!
this is so weird.
my dad's a baboon
darn! my hamburger's seared.

or pie a la mode
i do fall in ditches
but i never lick the road.

pancakes taste good.

and my pet ant weighs a gram!

i lost my underwear
pencils are crunchy.
i like my hair
and since this rhymes. i want lunchy.

They are so nice
They like girls
But they don't like guys.
They like to eat

pandas are big,
and people think they're cute.
they can be fat like a pig,
but they kinda sound mute.

they eat quite a lot,
bamboo's their thing.
they won't let it rot
cuz they'll be lingering.

the ones in zoos are lazy
their butts are always brown.
plus people think they're crazy
when they're just making a frown.

overall, pandas are cool
cuz they're furry and soft.
they don't look like a fool,
when they make a wet spot.

Unbreakable
This blood on the ground
These broken hearts
This massive loss
will not last forever

This tumor of fear
That glowing hate
These instincts of murder

everyone's so into serious poems. o.O i'm not so goo at writing those, so i don't do them very often... o.O

fragments of time,
a broken help sign.
a torn rag doll,
black water, swallowing all.

a tattered resume,
a calender of May.
a broken flute,
a stuffed owl that hoots.

shattered dreams,
terrified screams.
eternal torture, pain
that can turn you insane.

if death is your wish
then you're crazy, -ish.
because what lays down here
radiates pain and fear.

once you die,
do you think you'll see blue sky?
will the grass be green,
will the sun be seen?

a twisted dance shoe,
a ratty tutu.
a necklace with a charm,
a dirty doll's arm.

the River Styx,
is made of a mix
of lost hopes and dreams.
nothing is ever as it seems.

the Underworld is its name,
this place of fear and shame.
the gods will punish you
if you don't die on que.

the holidays are fun,
cuz there's no school,
there's still some sun,
but it's still cool.

there's warm food and tea
and cookies too!
snacks as far as anyone could see,
plus pots and pots of stew.

a bunch of songs
and some warm woolly gloves.
it's the time where everyone belongs,
the holiday everyone loves.

it's CELEBRATION TIME!!!

The Dragon


His glittering scales shining like gems
His ivory claws raking the moon
His golden fire painting the sky
The dragon flew
Over the plains
Over the trees
Over the mountains
In the glory
Of his might.


The Tiger

His glowing fur ruffling in the breeze
His eyes like glowing coals
His muscles rippling like ocean waves
The tiger paced
In the cage
In the night
In the gloom
In the fire
Of his rage

Always Hoping

I wandered far and wide across the snowy plains
From the highest mountain to the lowest ground
Searching until my loved ones were found
They took my family away
I stumbled weakly, too exhausted to carry on
The spark of hope in my heart was crushed
I stared at the darkening sky in despair
Longing for the day to see them again
I couldn’t stop, I couldn’t wait
I’ll keep on walking whatever it takes

In darkness of the night
I spied him in a tree
Sat I froze by the sight
He was looking at me
The summer's heat became a chill
The angel of death at his kill

My heart skipped with the fright
Blinked my eyes to bet'r see
Glanced back with all my might
Parted he my comp'ny
My chest was quickly pounding still

L is for the Little Dipper
L looks like the Little Dipper twinkling
Lime lava lead
luminous luna legendary lovely
Lovely bugs danced as the Little Dipper faded away

A poem from a book called The Girl Who Could Fly

I have seen the coming of dawn
Unconcernedly watching the passing of day
Whiled away my hours in joyful play
I live to simply sing the song of love
And play the music of my heart
Dancing and playing in the light
I am filled with passion and delight
My voice is free
It rises and floats away from me
I am unable to escape these walls
My body will not float like my song’s plaintive calls
Only in my mind I float free as my song
And I fly to a home where I belong
There, those who know my heart well
Sing, sing, sing with my song’s spell
They snatched my voice
Held me against my choice
I forget all that was mine
Yet I reach to dream it one last time
I struggle to the last
But my light is fading fast
A lone warrior waging a brutal fight
Against an endless night
I fight for escape even if the notes of this song
Are the only part of me to leave
I rise up out of here
Reaching for the things I hold dear
I will not stay silent
I shall not remain still

i only write poems that rhyme, like children's ones. o.O our poem unit was very short in grade four.

haiku:
Haikus are random
they are harder than they seem
hippopotamus

Differences
I like to eat pie,
you like to eat cake.
don't cheat and lie,
eat pie for my sake!

I wear purple socks,
but yours are blue.
you play with building blocks
but i prefer art with glue.

i like ham and cheese,
but you eat turkey deli.
my favourite bugs are bees
but when you see one you pee.

but there's one thing we share,
and it's not athletics.
since we're a close pair,
it's genetics.

it takes me a while... and i get distracted a lot. but i love irony.

Hah. I'm mostly horrible at writing poems because I get distracted too. We had to write a poem for class and it took me forever.
