"I'm...I'm so sorry to hear that." Ravenshadow mewed in surprise. "I didn't know." Feeling slightly sorry he padded closer to Featherfire. "I'll try to convince Bellawing to have us stay here if you want. That way all my kits can get to know their father. But I need you and Bellawing to stop fighting each other. I know you to don't like each other much, but you can at least try to get along. It hurts me to see and Bellawing being like this all the time."

"Okay," said Darkfire with his head hanging. He turned around to Viper. "Please find Springfall and bring her back safely," he begged him. Darkfire turned to Bellawing. "Lead the way," he said.

Bellawing purred and padded in front of Darkfire, trotting. She kept looking back, making sure he was following.

Leopard turned around after waiting for a few minutes and padded toward Dovewing. "I don't think Beestar's here."

Beestar finally walked into the camp. She was exhausted from the battle with the rogues, and was on her way to have someone check on her wounds. Then she noticed an unfamiliar cat saying she wasn't here. "I'm here!" She meowed back at the stranger.

Leopard spun around at the voice. "Hi, I'm Leopard. And I assume you are Beestar? I was wondering if you would accept me into your Clan. I'm sure teamwork is more effective and efficient than the life of a loner. This way every cat ciuld be protected."

Dovewing nodded along. "Well as she told you, Beestar, she's leopard and she helped the clan and wants to join," Dovewing said to Beestar.

Darkfire padded after Bellawing. Thoughts raged in his head about Springfall and the kits. He suddenly noticed that Bellawing was purring. "What are you so happy about?" he teased her nervously.

Beestar looked at Dovewing and nodded. "I suppose you're right." She looked back at Leopard. "Thank you. You can stay with us if you want."

Dovewing nodded then looked at Leopard. "You better be good. I rooted for ya," she teased.

Bellawing giggled, "I haven't seen you in forever! You're one of my best buddies!"

Ravenshadow started limping back to camp and then noticed Bellawing talking and giggling to Darkfire. He slowly walked up and nuzzled her. "Have you checked on the kits yet?"

Crystallight emerged from the nursery along with some of the kits. "They are alright Ravenshadow." She called out to him. "We had to keep them all in one nest but I hope that was alright."

Beestar noticed her kits standing nearby looking worried. "Where is Springfall?" She mewed out loud with growing concern.

Bellawing shifted her paws uncomfortably. "I think you should check on them."

Ravenshadow looked at her and then at Darkfire. Sighing sadly he limped away. "I'll check on them once I have been." Every step seemed to bring a pang of pain to him,and the many scratches and bite marks had nothing to do with it. So this is how it feels...

Bellawing nudged Darkfire playfully, "She'll be alright. I promise." She started to lick a scratch, "Yikes, that's deep."

"Don't worry, Dovewing," Leopard meowed playfully. "Could I change my name so that it's like yours? That way everyone would know I'm a part of this clan."

Dovewing smiled. "'Course. As soon as all this is over Beestar will hold a ceremony.. I think.. But she WILL hold one anyways," Dovewing said to Leopard.

Darkfire grinned. He nudged her back. "Then take care of it mouse-brain," he said with a chuckled. He paused and looked at Beestar sadly. "I hope so... The kits need her," he said softly. He looked at the ground. "Beestar was taken by the rogues.. Viper is looking for her..," he told Beestar softly.

Beestar had to use what strength she had left from collapsing with shock. "What!!? Why hasn't anyone told me?...." She soon covered her eyes with her tail. "Do the kits know yet? And where are they?...." She slowly laid herself down and tried cleaning both her wounds and tears. "We'll send out a patrol to get her back once we're ready." She turned to Leopard and purred chokingly. "Yes we'll give you a full warrior name when this is over."

Darkfire looked up at her. "The kits told me she was gone and I went out to find her but Bellawing went after me and told me that I should take care of the kits," Darkfire replied, looking at Bellawing sideways. "And.. it might be better if the kits don't know.. yet.. cuz if they do they might go into.. hysterics.."

Silvermoon exited the den. "All the kits are fine!" she announced.

Beestar looked at Darkfire and the others and nodded her head. "Alright...But I'll be the one to tell them when it's time. Could someone get Angelpaw or Mewfire?"

Crystallight walked over and nuzzled Silvermoon. "I'm so glad this is over for now..." Then she looked towards Darkfire and Beestar. "I hope we get Springfall back before anything happens."

Darkfire nodded solemnley. He looked at Bellawing then gestured at the medicine cats den. "Wanna tag along?" he asked before setting off to the den. "Angelpaw!! Mewfire!! We need you!!" he yowled into the den.

Silvermoon nodded and yawned. "This has got me beat!" she exclaimed. She peeked into the nursery.

Leoparrd tried to wash the sticky, dried blood off her grimy pelt, but it was no use. Suddenly a wave of exhaustion swept over her. She had to close her eyes, swaying on thle spot..

Dovewing noticed Leopard swaying. "Leopard? You okay?" she asked with concern.

"I'm fine," she managed. But she could not help noticing the concern in Dovwing's eyes.

"Ya sure?" asked Dovewing. "I know a bit about medicine."

"Could you get me some cobwebs?" Leopard asked. "This one on my flank is kind of deep."

Dovewing nodded. She went to the medicine den and retreived some cobwebs. She came back and put them on Leopards wounds. "There," she said, satisfied.
