RainbowClan

Welcome to RainbowClan!! A Clan that is almost similar to any other warrior clan, except for one thing. Most of the cats here prefer cats of their own (or sometimes both) gender as mates. Many of them were cast out of their old clans for who they are. Now become some of these cats and join the clan that's as diverse as the colours of the rainbow. You can create more than one character if you choose. They can be Gay, Lesbian, Bi, or even Straight [if a same-gender couple wants kits, they may turn to help from cats of the opposite gender].

[Prolouge:]
Beestripe kept on running all through the night away from her clan's territory. She couldn't take it anymore, she hated how everything for her had changed. She had been loyal and worked hard for her clan. She was a skilled hunter and a natural fighter. But when she told them her secret, it all meant nothing now. She could still see their shocked faces when she tried explaining that she was more attracted to other she-cats than toms, especially her own mother's expression. After that she was shunned by the toms and she-cats alike. Not able to take a step further, she crawled to a tree nearby where she cried herself to sleep. When she woke up the next morning she found herself at a near by creek that was flowing from a small pool and waterfall. A set of rainbows could be seen from it. Surrounding the falls were trees and flowers of dazzling colours. Beestripe stared in awe, here she could make a new home, no, a whole new clan. One that would never treat anyone for who they were as she had been. Looking up towards StarClan she made this promise then mewed to herself. "From this day forward, I shall be known as Beestar of RainbowClan!"

6 moons had gone by since that day Beestar made that promise to StarClan. By now her dream had turned into a reality. RainbowClan was growing, but still more needed to done. She gazed across the camp and watched another day begin. She waited for her Deputy Fernmist to come help her start the patrols.

Springfall trotted into camp, carrying three measly mice. Springfall padded to the fresh-kill pile, she dropped her measly offering. Springfall let out a sigh, she was a horrible hunter. Springfall looked around the camp, Who's a great hunter who could help me????

Beestar noticed Springfall returning with only three small mice to the fresh-kill pile, again. She's been with us for at least two moons already, and needs to do better than this. Our clan is growing, even though we don't have any queens, kits or elders yet. That might all change really soon, and we'll need every warrior to help feed them. Perhaps it's time I helped her. She got up from her spot outside her den and walked towards the small pale ginger she-cat. "Morning Springfall," she purred warmly. "How would you like to come hunting with me? I think you use a little mentoring with your skills."

Spottedtail lazily padded out of the warriors den and yawn. Ugh. What time is it? Did I sleep in again? She took a quick gaze around camp. Was everyone just too busy to wake me up? Spottedtail has been in the camp for a couple of moons now. The cats from her old clan were disgusted with her so they drove her out. Sad and alone she remembered the day she found Rainbow clan. It was the day her life changed

Beestar turned around and saw Spottedtail finally coming out of the warrior den. "Well you already missed the dawn patrol AND the morning hunt." She mewed with some annoyance for the she-cat's tardiness. "Lucky for you though, you can come with me and help Springfall improve her hunting skills."

"Sorry.." She quietly mewed. "But I'll make up for it!" Spottedtail glanced over at the fresh kill pile. Beestar would be even more annoyed with me if she had to wait for me to eat.. "Okay, well I'm ready to go then."

"Good," She mewed to both she-cats. "Than let's get going. We'll start at the grassy hills then work our way from there." The three she-cats padded out of the camp. The territory of RainbowClan had a mixture of forests, highlands, river meadows and swamp. This meant that the clan had a variety of prey to choose from, which was important since they mostly came from different clans originally. When they got to the grassy hills, Beestar signaled them to stop. "Spottedtail, go over to those shrubs and see if you'll find any rabbits or game birds in it. Springfall and I will go that way towards Look-out Rock. We will meet back here when we're done."

Spottedtail nodded. She began to sneak over to the shrubs that Beestar had pointed out. She opened her mouth, drawing in scents of any prey. There! She scented a bird nearby. Spottedtail instantly began sneaking around over to the scent until she could just hear the bird pecking at the ground. She silently moved a bit closer until she was ready to pounce. A few quiet seconds later she jumped on the bird and killed it in one hit. Easy! She kicked some dirt over her prey and continued hunting. This was Spottedtail's first time hunting a bird since she was so used to hunting other prey like squrriels and mice.

Fermist sprang to her paws. What time is it? She leaped out of the warriors den, feeling guilty. This was the third time in the last quarter moon she had slept in. She looked around the camp. Where is Beestar? She heard distance mews of her leader and friend Spottedtail coming from the grassy hills outside the camp. She ran out of the camp and through RainbowClan territory, not noticing her hunger until she saw a quiver of movement out of the corner of her eye. One of the shrubs near the center of a small clearing was twitching. Fernmist crouched down and slowly padded toward her prey. At the last second, she pounced, landing on her unseen victim.

"Get off of me Fernmist!" Spottedtail kicked Fermist off of her. I don't care if your deputy. It's just mouse-brained to mistake a cat for prey. "Yeah. Thanks for scaring away all the prey!" She spat. Spottedtail ran away from Fernmist so that she might still have a chance to catch any prey that might have been scarred away.

Springfall shifted on her paws, her amber eyes widening at the vast area. "I've never been to this side of the territory....I always stick closer to camp.." Springfall mewed. Staring silently at the hills, then she saw a small bird across the way and she looked at Beestar and asked "D-do I hunt that???"

Goldenflame just came back from the border patrol. Nothing unusual. She decided to go hunting. She ran over to the grassy hills and slowed down, trying not to scare any of the prey. She saw a rabbit. Yay! A good, plump rabbit! she stalked on it, then pounced. She landed on it, and then snapped it's neck. She saw the group of cats, put down the rabbit, and said, "Hi! What's going on?"

Fernmist stepped back, shaking the brambles from her fur. As she watched a frazzled Spottedtail sprinting away from her, she felt even more guilty. It's bad enough that I woke up late. She started to pad back to camp empty-pawed. I can't even tell a bird from my own Clanmate! I'm not fit to be deputy.
