"I'm...I'm so sorry to hear that." Ravenshadow mewed in surprise. "I didn't know." Feeling slightly sorry he padded closer to Featherfire. "I'll try to convince Bellawing to have us stay here if you want. That way all my kits can get to know their father. But I need you and Bellawing to stop fighting each other. I know you to don't like each other much, but you can at least try to get along. It hurts me to see and Bellawing being like this all the time."

"Okay..." he laid his head down and looked at Tempestsoul with a soft smile. "you should stay."

Sun and Hail grinned, padding away silently to leave them alone.

Tempestsoul smiled warmly, "Okay." She curled up next to him, smiling.

Panther held her close and buried his nose in her soft fur, soon dozing off.

Tempestsoul fell asleep, a smile still on her face, and purring.

Panther dreamed peacefully for once, his tail touching hers.

Tempestsoul woke up a while later, and got up slowly, so she wouldn't wake up Panther. She blinked away the sunlight, and stretched. She grabbed a squirrel from the fresh-kill pile and set it next to Panther, hoping its scent would wake him.

Panther's eyes opened as soon as Tempestsoul left. Once he saw the squirrel his stomach growled hungrily.

Tempestsoul curled her tail neatly around her paws, her forest-green eyes bright. "I'm gonna go hunting, but I'll be back later, okay?" She didn't want to leave without telling him.

"Be careful." Panther smiled, biting into the squirrel thankfully.

"I will!" She trotted out happily, into the green forest.

She saw a squirrel on a tree, biting on a little nut. She silently climbed up, not making a single noise. She jumped, and landed her paws on its tail. Tempestsoul bit its neck, and buried it.

She came back to camp with a squirrel, a mouse, and a little starling. Tempestsoul began to clean her pelt, and sunned herself on a rock.

Psnther ate the rest of the squirrel and fell asleep again.

Tempestsoul padded in, and rolled her eyes at Panther, "Lazy bum!" She growled playfully.

"There's nothing else to do!" he complained.

"Not with those inuries. Do you want me to get Angelpaw or Mewfire? They could see if you've gotten any better," She smiled, opening her motuh to try and find their scent.

"Yeah. Maybe then I won't be a useless lump of fur." Panther sighed.

"Alright!" She ran out. "Angelpaw? Mewfire? I need one of ya'll!"

"Why?" Mewfire grumbled from the shade on the den, then asked "I'm only movin if his conition is worse!" then he streched and rolled onto his side and looked up at Tempestsoul "WHat is it really?"

Angelpaw walked into the den and meowed to Mewfire, "I already told him all we cn do is let him rest for a while. He hasn't broken his ribs."

"I want to know if he's gotten any better!" Tempestsoul hissed at Mewfire. Calming herself down, she said to Angelpaw, "Could you please look at him?"

Fernmist padded into the crowded RainbowClan clearing, a large pigeon in her jaws. After chasing a stray fox from the territory, she had gotten lost in the new territory and stayed on her own. She had gotten help from kittypets along the way and finally found her way back to the camp.

Darkfire yawned and woke up. The sun was shining brightly. He sniffed the air and smelled.. Fernmist! He jumped up and looked around and saw Fernmist. He limped towards her, trying to keep his weight off his paw. "Fernmist!" he greeted in glee. He stopped in front of her. "Where have you been?" he asked, "So much has happened!"

Fernmist dropped the pigeon and stared at Darkfire.
"What happened to your leg?" she gasped. "And..." she glanced around, confused. Where is Beestar? She noticed many of the warriors she had come to know and love in RainbowClan were not in the camp. The ones that were wore solemn, weary faces as they noticed her.
"What has happened to RainbowClan?"

"Sweetheart, I said he needed to rest for a few days. That's all we can do!" Angelpaw meowed sympethetically.

"Kits we're born, Angel became Angelpaw, Mewfire's apprentice, and Tempestpaw is now Tempestsoul, and three new cats joined the clan: Hail, Panther, and Sun." Goldenstream meowed, padding over to the two cats from the fresh kill pile, "Andone want some?" She had a plump squirrel in her mouth.

"So many new faces...." She turned to Darkfire. "Where is Beestar? I need to talk with her."

"yeah.. lotta new cats," mumbled Darkfire. "I hurt my paw. A lot of the warriors had kits.. Oh and now I guess we have TWO medicine cat apprentices.. Beestar forgot about Rosepaw.. Um.. I think Beestar is .. either in her den or visiting Springfall in the nursery." He looked at the deputy. "Where have you been?" he asked after a moment.
