"I'm...I'm so sorry to hear that." Ravenshadow mewed in surprise. "I didn't know." Feeling slightly sorry he padded closer to Featherfire. "I'll try to convince Bellawing to have us stay here if you want. That way all my kits can get to know their father. But I need you and Bellawing to stop fighting each other. I know you to don't like each other much, but you can at least try to get along. It hurts me to see and Bellawing being like this all the time."

Tempestsoul padded out of the Medicine Den, her pelt had herb scent clinging to it. She dug her claws into the ground, and growled. "Mewfire's a butthead," She snapped as she padded over to Fernmist.

Darkfire chuckled as he heard Tempestsoul. "Yeah he is sometimes," he said, "Like that time Silver 'n I imitated him and he refused to treat us." He laughed. "Oh yeah she's Tempestsoul now," he added to Fernmist.

Goldenstream laughed, "I don't really know Mewfire."
Angelpaw was walking around camp when she heard Tempestsoul. "Hmph. At least you not his apprentice, though I know everything about being a medicine cat." Angelpaw growled, digging her claws into the earth.

"Well you know everything but Rosepaw doesn't!" exclaimed Darkfire. "She doesn't know everything and he needs to treat her like and apprentice since she is." He laughed, "Yeah.. you don't know Mewfire that well."

"But I don't get it... If I know everything, why am I an apprentice?" Angelpaw muttered.

"Nope. And I don't really want to..." Goldenstream laughed.

Panther sighed and painfully stood. He staggered into the clearing with a grin on his face. "I can walk!" He mewed. The massive black tom let out a surprised yelp as he fell to the ground.

Angelpaw ran to help Panther up. "I thought I told you to rest!" Angelpaw scolded, "Let's go back into the den, and if you keep this up, it'll never heal! If you rest for about a day more, you should be fine."

Darkfire turned around when he heard Panther. He grinned when he started to walk... and then fell down. "If Tempestsoul saw you she'd go ballistic!" he laughed.

"Aw come on!" Panther whined. "I wanna get outta that stupid den already."

Darkfire looked at Panther and shrugged sympathetically. "You'll get better soon," he reassured him.

"If you want out, you're gonna keep falling like that, and it'll never heal! If you go back in the den now, you'll be better by tomorrow!" Angelpaw meowed.

Tempestsoul saw Panther, and yelped. "Panther!!! Are you okay?!" She examined him for injuries.

Silvermoon looked longingly at the entrance to the camp. She wished she could go hunting or swimming or something but she had to stay and watch her kits. She looked at them and her eyes softened. "Mom? Something wrong?" asked Diamondkit. "No sweetie. Go back to playing with your siblings," she answered sweetly. Diamondkit looked at her one last time before returning to her game of "Pounce on Riverkit". Silvermoon laughed. "6 more moons 'till you kits are apprentices," she commented. She wondered who would be their mentors and if there were enough mentors for ALL of the kits who were going to be apprentices in 6 moons.

Crystallight looked at Silvermoon and purred. "Yes won't that be a long ceremony." She giggled and started licking her mate's ears. "Cheer up. I'm sure we'll get the chance to go out." She turned to watch Firekit joining Diamonkit in her game. Butterflykit was tossing and chasing a mossball with Bumblekit, while Snowkit was with the others.

"1, 2, 3! JUMP!" yelled Diamondkit then jumped on Riverkit. "Hey!" he called crossly. Silvermoon purred. "Such a long ceremony. We'll probably have to wit a long time to get them to even calm down!" she laughed. "Well once they're apprentices we can go on a looong, relaxing swim!" announced Silvermoon happily.

"I wanna be better already." Panther growled grumpily. He sulked in the medicine cat den.

Angelpaw meowed to Tempestsoul, "He will be better by tomorrow." So followed Panther in the medicine cats den so she could keep an eye on him.

Panther glared at the roof of the den as he laid on his back.

"Sweetie, it's sunset. You'll be better faster than you think!" Angelpaw tried to cheer up Panther.

Panther sighed. "I guess so."

Tempestsoul padded in, her cool back. "You'll be better in no time! And when you're better, you can run as long and far as you'd like!" She purred.

"Not too far!" Angelpaw laughed, "Nah, just kidding."

Goldenstream yawned, "Is anyone up for prey? If so, Darkfire, do you want to share?"

Panther's features brightened once he noticed Tempestsoul. "Hopefully I'll be away from this stuffy den and we can hunt together." he purred.

Tempestsoul nuzzled Panther, "I hope so, too."

Darkfire looked at Goldenstream and smiled. "Sure," he mewed. He tested out his paw and winced. It didn't hurt as much as before but it still hurt a bit.
