Why one and not another
has the power to make us dream,
and cast on us a magic spell
of Happiness supreme?

That is something no-one knows,
though clever they may be,
for no mere man has yet unravelled

This is one of my poems

Its nice! I love poems too!

Dancing under the moonlight
There was a white cat
Her fur as white as snow
With deep blue eyes

O Lord, our refuge and strength
When it's 'in God we trust'
The foe has struck your firstborn
With a great infamous thrust

Like history repeated
A Trojan Horse await
To massacre the blameless
A 'Nine-eleven' fate

They've dared defy an army
That does proclaim you Lord
Deliver US from their hand
Whet your glittering sword

Our Father who's in heaven
Shield US, your battle axe
Guard these in Thy replevin
Then Babylon do tax

Give US righteous victory
In Thy name, Lord of host
So that all the earth may know
'In God we trust' foremost

O Lord, our Rock and fortress
'Land of the Free' protect
Keep US strong 'til Shiloh come
Then on to Him collect

He maketh the wars to cease
Unto the end of earth
Breaketh bow, cut sunder spear
To chariots flame's birth

'Be calm, and know that I am God:
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.'*

The Lord of hosts is with US
Our refuge we proclaim
Bless US in our endeavor

The dark night,

Wild and ever so free

but,

With or with-out the moon,

The sky dances,

For the star's flicker and twinkle,

is bright enough to shine through,

I wrote a poem based on warriors!

From the youngest kit to the eldest cat,
we shall serve and protect.

For we are warriors of the forest,
our pride and honor shall reflect.

When it is our time to retire,
we should not fret or groan.

We shall be humbly be escorted,
to the elders den of our clans chosen home.

With Starclan we will put our faith,
and always do what is right.

We promise to never shed blood
on the forest's lightest night.

The lightest night part is a reference to the Gatherings truce.
Since the moon is full on gatherings!

"are you wearing knee pads?!"
"mom, i'll be fine!"
"are those shoes you dad's?"
"no, they're mine."
"are those laces tied?"
"please!!!! just let me go."
"i'm not a good parent? but i tried!"
"you are a good one, and you know."
"so why are you trying to get away?"
"i'm not, and you better not trail."
"but why not? i missed you all day."
"mom! i'm just going to fetch the mail!"

lol, it was hard to rhyme it. i enjoy writing happy, comical poems. there are a lot more poems on my topic, uh, also called "Poems". it's in warriors resort... for those of you who enjoy reading poems... lots of people wrote in there.

I am evil because I love too much,
wanting those I love to keep in touch;

I am evil that I dare to care,

the needs, or those I mis-perceive
in those who have no need, it seems.

I am evil that I wish to say
how much I love someone today.

I am evil if I self-protect
with reason, tears or intellect.

love back; for I deserve neglect.

for evil people should be gone.
