Should 'Warriors' be made a movie?

Hello everyone. Well what do think? Should the 'Warriors' series be made into a movie? Yes, No, Maybe? Give me your reason or opinion. I'll try to make a poll for this later. As for myself, it might be great if that happened, but if it's similarly done in any way as The Guardians of Ga'Hoole, I'm inclined to cry out "Let It Be!"

Actually I think there is a movie coming out! My sister mentioned something about it! I'm so excited! Maybe a few minutes on google will clear things up!

Silverrain- I've heard the same, but at this moment there is no verification by Erin Hunter (either one of them) on the official Warriors website.

I don't think it would be the greatest-it being all animated wouldn't look terrific and they'll screw up all the purrs and the growls.

If they actually found cats that would act and uh, talk, then it would look epic with all the fighting.

That would be an awesome movie.

Hmm, the site I visit everyday, that was one of the discussion about the "movie". We took a poll to see if you would like to see it animated or actual cats...I think the Animated won.

I dont kno tho.. a movie kind of screws up the imaginiation. every1 has their own opinion and image of how and where and what the cats do and their enviroments and everything. a movie would ruin this

Hmm, I know what you mean Ripplestreak. I have my own imagery on the book and well...I think you could be right on that.

Yup, Ripplestreak is right. We have our own ideas of what the forest looks like and it's taken a lot of time for us to build it and construct it. It's like the same thing with Harry Potter or other books. The movie setting is always a little (or sometimes very) different from what I imagine it in my head. So whether a movie should actually be made is still up for debate.

I always imagine the forest too! I like to also make of the clans camp in my head....I sometimes think that they have ACTUAL DENS. If you know what I mean.

I always imagine Spottedleaf with some peacock's circle thingies. You know how peacock's have those nice circles on their tails? Yeah I always picture Spottedleaf with those on her pelt. And it's always nice that she smells good too xD

Hey that reminds me of something, who here [probably few people on this site] has heard of/ watch the show 'Deadliest Warrior'? Well anyways, I once posted this suggestion (half-jokingly) that they should do 'Warriors' vs. 'Guardians of Ga'Hoole'. They could have the authors (Kathryn Lansky and one of the Erin Hunters) appear on the show as the warrior-team "experts", while the other half each team could be made up of real cats and owls who would do the tests. What do you think of that?

That sounds interesting! And I think I would like a movie! But it better not be book-by-book!

I'm for it being animated! The realistic versions aren't that good because you can't make the dog/cat open/close their mouths in time with the words. Though computer graphics have gotten good recently... we'll have to see!

animated is better and less annoying.

i just hope that it's realistic animation. i don't think that the manga is very good if they're going to animate that for a movie.

but you know if they made it into a movie then it would take like 30 years or something because harry potter had 7 books and it took 10 years. o.o

I like the art covers as well. But even if they were to make a movie, I don't think that they would make the warriors look like the manga...so weird looking.

Maybe anime style would be good? Such as the Naruto series or what not. The anime is better than the manga. But they really need to get things right if it's going to be a movie. No screw-ups.

I thought the Warriors manga had ugly... well let's just say not very attractive cats XD

Yeah, I dont like the manga warriors one either...weird looking.
