Gingerburst's Kits Are Born - (RPG, Anyone can join)

She-Cat - Thoughtful, caring, and sympathetic sand-golden she-cat with white paws and
white under-belly, with a brownish tint to her flank. She has sparkling
green eyes that glow in the sunlight. She is adventurous and a bit mischievous and loves sneaking
up on things. She loves company and helping others.

Tom - Loyal, compassionate, and caring, blackish-gray fur and and
long mane. Dark markings on his head and body and golden patches
on the side of his fur. He is strong and caring and would rather be with
himself.

Mossbreeze
She-Cat - Independent, caring, and helpful. Mossbreeze has long, light brown
furred and has white ear tips. She has more golden spots on her paws and
legs. She is very loyal to the warrior code and she is very stubborn.
She argues a lot when working with strangers but she is gentle and she
is loving and hard-working. Bold but a bit more gentle compared to most warriors.

Perchreed
Tom - A light-brown tom with white streaks of fur and gray
spots. He has a very dark brown head and a white and brown mane and
hazel eyes. He has white paws and silky, soft fur. He is respectful and
courageous and very loyal to his clan. He is very protective and
territorial. He enjoys working with others and can be bossy.

We didn't get all the kit pictures, so if you want to submit some pictures for Perchreed and Mossbreeze that fit the description, that's fine

Anyone can join, as well, and that includes people from other Clans

Gingerburst can start it ^-^

Gingerburst rested her head on her paws in the nursery. Her belly was swollen with kits. Then, she felt a pain in her body. She knew the kits were coming. "Torrentheart," she called to him, gasping for breath. She moaned in pain and searched around the nursery looking for a stick she could bite on that would ease the pain.

Torrentheart licked his paw happily, content with his newly found good patrol-organizing skills. He was the new deputy, so of course he was still getting used to the precise timing and so forth, but he thought he was doing pretty good.

Trotting across camp while a patrol brushed past, Torrentheart slipped under the nursery entrance, completely unaware of his mate's voice calling him on. Gingerburst had told him she could feel that the kits would come soon. He was excited as could be, but still nervous at the same time. Who ever knew how nerve-wrecking it is to be a father who's mate is expecting kits?

It didn't take long to see the agony in Gingerburst's golden face when he saw her (lol xP). He somehow knew it, too, that the kits were coming. Yet he still stayed a little calm. He pounced into a stretched-out stance and yowled. "The kits!" he yelped out. Frantically, he flew over to a stick and tossed it over to his mate. "Just hold on! I'll go get Echosong!" he announced, racing out of the nursery with a lot of haste and going into the medicine cat's den, hoping to see the young medicine cat.

~Let's try to be a little bit slower. Lol . Sorry this post was so scrunched and awkward~

Gingerburst leaned over to bite down on the stick. She spotted Iceshard and called over to her. "Iceshard!" she struggled to call with her mouth muffled. The pain was getting worse and she was panting heavily.

"Hold on Gingerburst! I'm coming!" Tallheart called running to the nursery. She entered the nursery pantining. "Take deep breaths," she told her sister. "Wheres Torrentheart?" Tallheart asked.

Snowlily had grown a bit tired from her journey, first from her move from Shadowclan to Thunderclan and now her long hike to pay a visit to so e old friends. I haven't been in Riverclan territory for moons now. Not since Streamfur's first litter at least. She stopped several tail lengths away from where she knew the border markers had been set in the past and parted her jaws to take in the scent. None of the scents had appeared all that fresh. Perhaps there will be a new border patrol soon to remark their territory borders... Snowlily sat down tucking her tail over her paws. She glanced around with her ears pricked and acting like radar dishes, listening for the smallest sound of a patrol.

Streamstar was patroling the border with Dawnflare and Whitefire close behind her. She was unaware of what was happening at camp, but would be returning soon from the patrol. As Streamstar was checking one of the border markers, Dawnflare had scouted ahead. Now she was running back, and she quickly meowed, "Someone is waiting at the border!" Streamstar's ears pricked up in alarm and she followed her daughter along the border, alert for any other cats. She relaxed as she saw the familiar she-cat. She bounded ahead and joined Snowlily at the border. "Snowlily, it's great to see you! Its been quite a while since your last visit. What brings you to Riverclan territory?" Streamstar meowed, happy to see her friend. Whitefire and Dawnflare caught up to her, looking very confused. "Snowlily is a good friend of mine," Streamstar explained, "But she hasn't visited since you two were kits."

Snowlily dipped her head in respectful greeting. "I apologize for coming without any notice." She looked over the small group of Riverclan Warriors. "They sure have grown quite a lot. It seems that they have made fine warriors." Her eyes glistened with surprise and excitement. "I imagine so much has changed since I was last here."

Brightshadow's comforting dream was rudely disrupted by a hair-rising wail echoing through the camp. Very slowly, the former leader opened one green eye to glare at the entrance of the Elders' Den. If looks could kill, the honeysuckle would be a pile of ash. Goodness, the gray she-cat thought grumpily, rising to her paws. Why can't anyone get a decent nap around here?

She peered through the trailing leaves, only giving passing glances at those milling about the fresh-kill pile. "Oh. It's the nursery." Her scowl deepened as she sat down in front of her den. "Where's Echosong?" Brightshadow meowed, raising her voice. "Someone needs to take care of that poor, miserable queen." Her green eyes zeroed in on Iceshard, and she dimly remembered that she had been medicine cat apprentice before going back to being a warrior. "How about you?" she asked pointedly.

Hullo, it's Brightshadow:

Iceshard looked up nervously when she felt Brightshadow's heavy gaze rest on her. She'd been rising to go to Gingerburst when the she-cat had called out her name, but under the old cat's scrutiny, she felt compelled to stay where she was. The former RiverClan leader may have been old, but her green eyes still carried that fierce glint.

"How about you?" Brightshadow snapped suddenly, and Iceshard flinched. "R-right," the young warrior mumbled and dashed across the clearing. Once the nursery's reed walls hid her from the elder's view, she relaxed-- slightly. "Hi, Gingerburst," Iceshard started lamely, and inched forward to peer into the darkness. "Uh, you need herbs right? Right." It was hard to recall all those memories of hours of memorizing herbs. She scooted out of the den again and went foraging for borage in the medicine cat's den.

The large young deputy popped out of the medicine cat den as Iceshard hurried out. Upon coming to the nursery entrance, he hesitated. Should he let Gingerburst be for now? After all, he'd probably just freak out and make Gingerburst even more worried. Biting back his yelps to Gingerburst, he shuffled off, nearly drawing himself to go into the warrior's den and put his paws over his ears. Instead, though, he plopped down at the camp entrance, hopeful someone would come into camp just so he can be distracted. The second he stops hearing Gingerburst, he decided, he will go back in.

From the tip of his tail to the top of his ears, Torrentheart was tingling with nervousness and excitement.

"Quite a lot has changed." Streamstar meowed. "Remember when Featherstorm was just a kit. Now she has kits of her own. And Gingerburst is expecting kits." By now, Whitefire and Dawnflare had calmed down, knowing that this cat is friends with Streamstar. "Would you like to come visit our camp again?" Streamstar offered. "We were just about to head back ourselves, before Dawnflare spotted you."

Snowlily purred softly. "We'll I am glad someone noticed me. Or this whole
Journey would have been for nothing." She nodded her acceptance of the she-cats offer and rose to her paws as she gave a final stretch. "I wouldn't mind another visit to clan, but only if I'm not intruding. It seems that here has been a lot going on in Riverclan lately." Snowlily finished sounding both intrigued and nervous.

~ Can I role play as myself? ~

(Dewdrops since you are in Riverclan you should be able to I think.)

"Don't worry, " Streamstar meowed reassuringly, "you're welcome to come visit the camp. Lets go!" She lead the way towards camp, Whitefire and Dawnflare following close behind. She wondered about how Gingerburst was doing, being so close to kitting. Along the way, Streamstar told Snowlily about the things that had happened since her last visit.

Snowlily padded along after the Riverclan trio listening silently, studying her surrounding. How has so much changed when everything still looks the same?... she hesitated a moment as the scent of Riverclan grew stronger. We must be near the camp by now. Her pelt prickled and rose slightly, in anticipation. "Perhaps I should wait in the clearing for a bit. Things are very different now that they were on my past visit.'

When Iceshard vanished to take care of the noise, Brightshadow stretched and let loose a gusty sigh. She felt tired all the time now. Maybe a visit to Sunningrocks was in order? She headed toward the camp entrance, already looking forward to soaking in the sun on the rocks. The elder moved with surprising speed for a cat her age; she'd stayed as sharp as her tongue through the moons.

Her senses were good as they ever were, so when Brightshadow stepped out of the reeds surrounding the camp, the first thing she noticed were the foreign scents on the breeze. ShadowClan? And ThunderClan! Outraged, the gray she-cat trotted forward, slapping leaves away from her white-speckled muzzle as she went. She could smell Streamstar too, mixed in with those other scents. "Streamstar!"

Dewdrop silently waited for a fish to appear " Come on fishie, fishie" she whispered. Then suddenly a large bass swam by, " My lucky day!" she thought excitedly. Right when Dewdrop was about make her strike, a loud wail awoken her. "what duh?" she then shot straight up and ran to the clearing. She noticed a new scent, and saw streamstar and her friend snowlily. She waved her tail over at the patrol, but drew her attension back to the the wail and went to go check out the nursery.

Streamstar saw Brightshadow appoach and meowed, "Don't worry, its only Snowlily. You remember her don't you? The last time she visited was when you were still leader, and I was still in the nursery with my kits." Streamstar heard a wail as Dewdrop ran by, and she rushed into the camp. She realized that Gingerburst must be kitting, but she didn't see Echosong around. She quickly entered the nursery to see how Gingerburst was.
