Firestar's kits are born

This roleplay takes place during the time inbetween Firestar's Quest and Midnight. You can roleplay characters from the books and this roleplay will start at the moment Leafkit and Squirrelkit are born.

A tiny felt her mothers tounge licking her. It felt so warm in the nursery. "Lets name her Leafkit and her sister Squirrelkit" she heard her mother meow. Leafkit... Thats a nice name Leafkit thought. She hadn't opened her eyes yet but she could feel her sister Squirrelkit right next to her.

Oooh! I want to be Sandstorm!

Leafkit moved closer to her mother and began suckling.

Squirrlekit kicked and let out a squeak, Leafkit stole her spot! Squirrlekit sqeaked and pushed past Leafkit and tryed to beign to suckle.

Can I be brightheart!?!Oh please?!?

Leafkit squeeked as Squirrelkit pushed past her and she scooted over to give Squirrelkit room to suckle.

Squirrlekit sighed she was full and was getting sleepy, and so she streched and her tail came to rest across Leafkit's back while she lay on her back with her head on Sandstorm's belly.

Leafkit fell asleep. Later when she woke up, she opened her eyes. "Wow! Everything is so big!" she mewled. She poked at Sandstorm with her tiny paws to wake her up.

Squirrlekit snored and then flopped over ontop of Leafkit and fell back into a deep sleep.

Leafkit struggled to pull herself out from under Squirrelkit and when she did, she tumbled to the back of the nursery where it was coldest. She tried to stand but she couldn't. She was getting hungry too. Leafkit mewled for someone to help her.

CInderpelt looked up at the sound of the pitfull mewling and saw little Leafkit and hobbled over and purred "Silly, this is no place for a kit!!!" she plucked her up and headed back to Sandstorm's nest, bitter resement filled her as she saw how happy Firestar looked. Then she gently placed little Leafkit back into the nest before sitting next to Firestar and ACTING like she was happy.

Can I be Firestar?

~I'll be Brambleclaw, I guess. I think we need someone to be Sandstorm soon~

Firestar was lying on the High Rock, sunning himself, oblivious to what was going on.

Squirrlekit opened her eyes and let out a hungry wail, where was Sandstorm?!

Mousefur glared at the apprentices infront of her. "There's a thorn in this bedding! Why do you put all the thorns in my bedding?" She was tired of lying down to get a thorn in the stomach.

Squirrlekit was terrifed, Leafkit was next to her but where was Sandstorm?! Squirrlekit let out another hunry wail, even louder than before, it echoed through the camp, she was soo hungry and so she wail sqeakly "MOMMY! Mommy?! WHere are you?!" she sqeaked

Firestar stretched his paws, scanning the ThunderClan camp. Peace and quiet. He narrowed his eyes at the commotion at the nursery. New kits?

MY KITS! Firestar rushed towards the nursery anxiously. "Sandstorm?"

Mousefur padded up to Firestar. "We have a problem. The bedding is defective. It's either the bedding or the apprentices." She flashed a glare at the apprentices.

Squirrlekit screamed "MY MOMMY ISN'T HERE! I WANY MY MOMMY!" she cried sadly

Firestar sighed at the elder. "I'll get one of the apprentices to fix it for you."

Mousefur walked away grump...il...y? (is that a word?) She sighed and got herself new bedding.

Firestar rushed over to the nursery. "Sandstorm?"
