The Kit Challenge

I'm creating a challenge called The Kit Challenge! You have to write a detailed description of everything a kit does all day, every day for the first 6 moons of its life. That means you will have to write 180 entries from the kits point of view. You will have to include everything it says, thinks, dreams, and does. Be sure to include everything it does all day for each day. You will only have 3 months (90 days) to write all 180 of them. Start from the day the kit is born. If you can complete this challenge, you will recieve a banner for your signature that says you completed the kit, and if this is popular, I'll make an apprentice challenge, that only those who have completed the kit challenge can participate in. You can post joining forms, questions, ideas, ect. here, but make a separate topic for your kit challenge. Ex.: For me, I'd make a topic called, "Streamfur's Kit Challenge". I might also post weather updates and events happening on certain days in the clans that the kits are in.

(Quick question, do you make up a random kit or for example can I use Birdflight when she was a kit? Also, does the whole kit challenge end in 3 months?)

You can do either and you get 3 months to do it from when you start. If you don't complete it in three months, you're allowed to start again with a new kit, and you'll have another 3 months. You can start whenever you want and get three months to do it from when you start.

does the kit need to be a Clan kit? O: can it be a stray/rogue or kittypet? this sounds really interesting although i'm not sure if i can write every day for 90 days reminds me too much of NaNoWriMo xD i really do wanna try it though

is it like the 100 Oneshot Challenge, where we just make a topic to store all of the entries?

It can be a stray/ rouge or kittypet. I just don't want any made up clans. I'm allowing Viper's because it used to be a group on the forum. And yes, you do make a topic to store all of the entries. I might try to do NaNoWriMo with Emberstrike next year.

Wow, stream! This is such a good Idea! So... 2 entries a day.... hmm.... I'll do it! Can they be like.... together? Like, you have 2 entries to do a day, right? Can you write one entry and then write another right after that?

You can write one entry right after another. You're allowed to do more than two a day if you want to. If you finish early, however many days you had left to finish to kit challenge will be added to the amount of days you'll have to do the apprentice challenge. (if you decide to do it when you finish the kit challenge). I haven't created the apprentice challenge yet.

Streamy! I was wondering... (actually many of us were wondering) whether we could just write a long story about a character's life? Not only as a kit because its hard to describe stuff when you're so young and everyday is almost the same until you're an apprentice. Maybe a challenge to write a story of your whole life including your death and stuff?

Well its a challenge because its hard to describe stuff when you're so young. Its what makes it challenging. If it was easy then it wouldn't be a challenge. I was planning on making a apprentice challenge, and possibly a warrior challenge after that, that use the same character you started the kit challenge with. Soon I'll be adding events of certain days to make it more interesting. If you write a long story of the characters life, you would still have to include every day of the kits life. I could make a second challenge to write a story of your life, if you want. I'd need to decide on the time limit first.

Well, could I change my date? I started the day after I made that, but I made the topic that day and thought I would start then....

I've noticed that no one has been working on their kit challenge lately. Please let me know if you're still participating in the kit challenge, and everyone who is still participating can have some extra time, since no one has updated their lately. Also, let me know if you want me to try to do the kit challenge too.

Sorry Dawn, that I never replied to your post, you can change your start date to the day you actually started.

Streamfur, I wanted to just say that I think instead of a kit challenge, you should do an apprentice challenge. Most people didn't do it because they asked what there was to do as a kit. I personally think there's a lot of things that could happen, but I also believe an apprentice challenge would be a bit more interesting.

I was sort of hoping that I could do a kit challenge first, then do an apprentice challenge for anyone who completed the kit challenge, and possibly a warrior challenge after that, but I could do an apprentice challenge that anyone could do without doing the kit challenge first.

You should probably do that It's just.... well, there's not that much to do as a kit. But an apprentice might be a teensy bit different. Also you should do maybe like 100 entries in 90 days. That might be a bit easier. But I know it's supposed to be hard so I guess keeping it 180 is good, too
