Honeyleaf slowly padded back to camp, a fresh rabbit in her jaws. Her mouth was watering at the tantalizing smell

Brightflash padded back to camp with a rabbit in her jaws. Blackclan has been thriving in the summer weather, since all of the animals are looking for shade, and their territory is completely dark. Just enough light to see. She padded into camp, and put the prey in the fresh kill pile. She poked her hea in the apprentices den and smiled, "Hello, my dears. You first day of training is tomorrow. Are you excited?" She smiled at them, her eyes beaming. She was proud of her kits.

Thornclaw padded up to Moonshine. "Do you want me to go on a hunting patrol?" She asked Moonshine. "The fresh kill pile is almost empty." she nodded toward the tiny pile of prey.

"Yes, bring Falenwings with you." She mewed. The new warrior was getting on well. She thought. "Rockstar! Are you there?"

Icepaw beamed "Of course Mama! Sunpaw has told us so much, right Cherrypaw?" She nudged her sister.

Hailfall walked into the clearing "in the name of the Dark Forest, Brightflash what is this noise?" She deputy demanded. Hailfall walked away without an answer to see Forestblaze in the nursery. "Hello my dear." He dropped prey to his mates paws and curled around her body.

"Sure, Moonshine." Thornclaw meowed, and headed toward the warrior's den. "Fallenwings!" She called at the entrance. "Moonshine wants us to go on a hunting patrol!" They would try to find a rabbit's burrow to hunt in. Other clans found it hard to hunt in the tunnels, but BloodClan was used to it.

"Wait, Thornclaw, with the shortage of prey you might as well bring Slabpelt or Oakheart" Moonshine told the she-cat. She respected Thornclaw. She was a big help.

"Alright." Fallenwings got up and padded over to Thornclaw and yelled, "OAKHEART! SLABPELT! HUNTING PATROL!"

Sunpaw replied, "I guess. But I got a good mentor. Hailfall."

"The apprentices!" Brightflash replied, "You have to train Sunpaw anyways."

Hailfall nodded. "Yes I know." He looked Back at his mate. "How are you darling?" He asked "Are the kits okay?" He asked.

Moonshine padded over to Fallenwings. "You'd make a great leader and deputy." She told the she-cat with an approving nod to Thornclaw. "You four can head out, just remember if Oakheart doesn't want to come he may want to stay with Brownripple and the kits." She mewed.

Iceoaw loomed at her brother. "I got Falconglare." She mewed. Just be pause Hailfall is deputy doesn't mean he's better than me and Cherrypaw's mentors, right Mama?"

"That's right. And there are not many warriors in the clan right now, so it was like there was a shortage in mentors. But I am proud of all of you." Brightflash replied.

"They're fine. I have a feeling they'll be coming soon." Forestblaze replied, purring.

Moonstar meowed, "All cat brave enough to kill a cat come under the High Branch for a clan meeting!" Brightflash and Sunpaw came out of the apprentices den, and Forestblaze looked outside the nursery. "Tigerstar told me something last night while we were in the Dark Forest. Something great that I hope will work. Tigerstar has told me that he will get all of the Dark Forest recruits not in Blackclan to come here! I don't know how he'll do it, but it will be a great success if he does it!"

Iceoaw cheered. "That's wonderful! More BlackClsn cats!" She jumped with exitment and landed neatly on all four paws. "Did you hear that Cherrypaw?!"

Hailfall looked at his mate. "Coming soon? Then we have to be ready I'll tell the medicine cat! I'll bring you extra fresh-kill!" He raced back and forth rambling on and on about how he was going to get her extra super wet moss and other things.

"Don't get too excited. They need to get here first." Falconglare rumbled, stalking out of the shadows slowly. The dark tabby glared at the cats around him, looking almost exactly like his brother, Tigerstar but a bit larger. "My brother is quite the persuader, but those goody-two-paws might not take the bait so easily." his voice was cold and booming..intimidating. Falconglare was close to Tigerstar, but was always the logical one, never getting excited over anything until it was done.

Icepaw stared at her mentor and shivered. Tigerstar's brother was her mentor, maybe he would visit her, the mighty Tigerstar! "Excuse me Falconglare, but are we going training tomorrow, or today?" She asked nervously. Moonstar might get mad at her.

"Right now, I suppose. It's not really training though....simply a tour of our 'wonderful' territory." he replied with a hint of dark sarcasm in his voice. The dark brown tom flicked his tail for the apprentice to follow. "Don't be so scared of me or you'll give yourself a heart attack not even a moon in." Falconglare mewed in his gruff voice as he smirked wickedly.
