Phoenixclan vs. Griffinclan

Phoenixclan cats live in the desert, and are able to stand great temperatures. They are also very fast. They hunt large birds and are good at jumping. Griffinclan cats live in the mountains by the desert. They are very strong, and are used to living in the colder climate of the mountains. They are also good at jumping and hunt large birds. During a shortage of prey, the two clans accuse eachother of prey stealing, and are on the verge of war.

Flamepaw bounded over to Redtalon and Mossfire. "Congratulations!" she meowed smiling. "To both of you! You must be so proud, just imagine how proud you'd be when they are given their warrior names!" She then pranced off toward the apprentice's den until something popped up for her to do. She plopped down in her nest, and the sight of her and Lionpaw came back. She shook it away again, knowing that Redtalon could pop in at any moment, wanting to do some training.

Flamewing darted into the nursery with wet moss and a stick. He meowed, "Bite down on the stick when you feel pain, and drink the moss when you're thirsty. You can stay if you like, Demonstar." He looked at Featherfire and meowed softly, "When you feel more pain, just push."

"Finally you got here!" Demonstar half grumbled half sighed with relief. He paced nervously, fire-like eyes darting to Feather fire every few seconds.

"I was getting a stick and wet moss. She'd be in more pain if I didn't get those!!!" Flamewing spat back, fustrated. He rubbed his tail on Featherfire's belly, hopefully causing her to be in less pain.

Featherfire felt pain again and bit down hard on the stick. Her first kit was a black tom. "Water.." she murmured to Demonstar.

Demonstar stopped his pacing to pick up the watery moss and hold it for his mate to drink. He let the medicine cat take care of the kits.

Featherfire drank water until she felt more pain, and she bit down on the stick again. It was begining to crack in her mouth. The next kit was a sandy colored she-kit. "Her name is Sandkit.." she said.

Looking at the black one's spiky, unruly fur, Demonstar smiled. "He's Cactuskit for that messy fur." Nuzzling his mate and guiding the kits to drink, the leader purred. "You're doing great, Featherfire. Hang in there with me."

Featherfire felt another pain, and bite down on the stick a third time, breaking it. She spit it out. She third and last kit was a brown tabby tom with black stripes. "Thats the last one," She meowed. She smiled at her kits, who hadn't opened their eyes yet.

"What do you want to name him?" Demonstar purred, gently licking Featherfire's forehead.

"How about Snakekit?" Featherfire purred. She licked each of the kits on their foreheads and Sandkit blinked open her eyes for the first time. She smiled at her kit and Sandkit smiled back. "I'm your mother, Featherfire, and this is your father Demonstar." she purred.

Mossfire looked at her mate "No one can wait! But, Birchpaw, well he won't be a warrior. But, he will be a medicene cat." she told her mate and licked him back. then she thought about her and Redtalon's other kits who were taken by foxes and later found killed. But Birchpaw and Redpaw will be fine (they eat eagles?! jeez these are some big cats!)

Birchpaw sat up and looked at his mentor "Flamewing, may i bring Demonstar the poppy seeds?" he asked the young medicene cat.

Echocloud waited "GRIFFINSTAR!!!!" she yelled "CAN I BORROW AN APPRENTICE." the elderly medicene cat yelled as loud as she could.

"They're beautiful kits." Flamewing meowed, "I'm going to get you some poppy seeds to help you sleep and borage leaves to help you with your milk." He padded out of the nursery and came back with borage and poppy seeds. He put them down next to her, then left the den.

Streamfur wrote:"Sure," Griffinstar meowed to the medicine cat, "You can borrow an apprentice."

Feather was back in her nest in the nursery, about to fall asleep, when she felt a sharp pain. She yowled out in pain and yowled, "The kits are coming!"

~A need a cat from each clan to steal prey from the other clan and let a cat from the other clan see while not letting anyone from your own clan know to help start the war~

Featherfire ate all the herbs that the medicine cat brought and she soon fell asleep by her kits.

Griffinstar became anoyed as the medicine cat yowled at him. "I already said you could borrow an apprentice!" he said to her, trying not to wake the kits. But it was too late and all of them were awake from Echocloud's shouting. They were all staring fearfully up at the medicine cat.

Eaglecall woke up and meowed, "What's all that noise?" she strethed, and pushed her kits closer to her. "It's alright little ones. It's just the medicine cat, Echocloud." she whispered softly, And she echos everything she says, "GRIFFINSTAR, CAN I BORROW AN APPRENTICE?" really? He already said yes, then she says it again... Ugh. I wanted peace with my kits and Griffinstar for a while.

~I know but if you read my posts i said she was elderly twice so shes hard at hearing and shes in her den, not in the nursery.~

Echcocloud went to fetch an apprentice and left camp in search of catmint by twolegplace.

Birchpaw looked at his mentor "Will you show me the paces to get herbs on my tour?" heasked the oung medicene cat.

Mossfire walked to the nursery to cngragulate Featerfire (can hey be sisters) she walked into the nursery to see Demonstar ther "Oh, is this a bad time? I just wanted to congrafulate you, then i was off to set patrols." she told the leader "ill go, Congratulations Featherfire!" sh calledoverher shoulder.

Demonstar nodded his thanks to Mossfire and layed down beside his family. "Snakekit is a perfect name." He whispered, curling up and drifting to sleep for the first time in days with the scent milk and his kits wafting throuh his nostrils.

Redpaw bounced around, his name on his tongue every three seconds. He looked all over camp for his mentor, before finding him sleeping peacefully next to his new kits. Disappointed that he wouldn't be training today, he left to find his brother. Demonstar would just have to train him tomorrow.

Birchpaw turned to see his brother "Hey, Redpaw!" He said cheerfully "How are you today?" He asked even though he spent the morning with him.

Echocloud returned from her herb hunt and sat in the medicene den grabbing borahe and poppy for the nursing queens "Eaglecall, I have herbs for you." She whispered softly so she didn't wake the kits and stepped on Griffinstar's tail by accident "Oops." She whispered hoping he wouldn't yowl at her.

Mossfire called for some of the strongest warriors "Redtalon, I want you to lewd a patrol with two cats of your choice to check the border next to Pheonix Rock." She told her mate is a formal like tone.

"Demonstar's sleeping," Redpaw replied sulkily. He put his ears down, hoping he would appear pitiful and his brother would give in and play with him.

Redtalon left his mate, thinking he'd better catch more prey to bring back. There were many new kits, and that meant more mouths to feed. He made sure someone saw him leaving so no one would question his whereabouts.

Flamepaw saw her mentor leave and she decided that she wanted to go to. She ran up to him. "Where are you going?" She questioned and without waiting for an answer she meowed, "Can I come too Redtalon, please?" She looked up at him with big round eyes, then meowed again, "Please?"

Mossdire watched her maye leave and wondered why he didn't bring the other cats she wanted him to "Redpaw, dome with me please. I need to go on patrol with you." She mewed to her kit.

Birchpaw looked at his brother "He hasn't slept in awhile and the stress of Featherfire's kitting is adding to his exhaustion. I know that look Redpaw, but we're apprentices now. We can't play and Mossfire wants you." He used hi mothers actual warrior name instead of "Mommy" for a change.

Redpaw tagged along with his mother, on his father's trail. If only Birchpaw was here. It would be a family thing.

Redtalon looked over at Flamepaw. "Yeah, sure, why not? I think Redpaw will come too. I'll take both of you, and you can see the territory."

-Oh. Should I give Redpaw back?-

Mossdfire looked at her son and stopped "Redpaw. You wish Birchpaw were here don't you. He cant be here hes a madicene cat apprentice he doesn't patrol." She reminded him.

Birchpaw looked a Flamewing "Flamewing, will we see the territory soon?" He asked hi mentor "Redpaw os already gone." He added.
