Phoenixclan vs. Griffinclan

Phoenixclan cats live in the desert, and are able to stand great temperatures. They are also very fast. They hunt large birds and are good at jumping. Griffinclan cats live in the mountains by the desert. They are very strong, and are used to living in the colder climate of the mountains. They are also good at jumping and hunt large birds. During a shortage of prey, the two clans accuse eachother of prey stealing, and are on the verge of war.

Eaglecall woke up and ate the herbs. She cuddled up against Griffinstar and fell back asleep.

Flamewing meowed, "Tomorrow. I'm busy right now. You could have gone with Redpaw."

"Yay!" Flamepaw meowed. "Thank you Redtalon! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She ran in circles, then she hopped in the air. She felt full of energy, and she couldn't wait to depart. Her eyes were lively and being in the apprentices den was boring! Every thought swirled around in her head. First she thought about exploring, then Lionpaw, then exploring again, then training, then she settled her thought on obeying Redtalon. She calmed down and sat down, waiting for Redtalon to tell her what to do next.

-okay, sure -

"Okay, you two, this is the official border between PhoenixClan and GriffinClan," he meowed. "There should never be a reason for you to cross over here without the leader's word. It's part of the Warrior Code. Scout out the area for a while. I'll check the Phoenix Rock."

Demonstar growled loudly in his sleep, dreaming of a battle between the Clans. Claws unsheathed, the demonic sounding tom scored the ground, tail lashing powerfully.

Birchpaw looked at his mentor "Mossfire didn't ask me to come." He pointed out. Birchpaw curled up in his nest andi fell asleep.

Mossfire stretched and curled in her next and fell asleep.

Demonstar padded out of the nursery, still looking exhausted and stressed because of his dream. He headed instinctually to the medicine cat den to spill it all out to Flamewing.

Birchpaw looked at Demonstat "Uh, Hi Demonstar." He said "What are you doings here?" He asked the powerful tom.

Mossfire stretched the sleep from her limbs and walked into the clearing

Demonstar jumped in surprise, forgetting that Flamewing now had an apprentice. Regaining his serious and tired face, he looked around the den. "Uh...hey. where's Flamewing?" He mewed awkwardly.

Flamepaw scouted the area. She kept on the look out in case a GriffinClan patrol passed by. She took in the scent of GriffinClan, even though she's smelled it before on Lionpaw. She stared across the border longing to run over there and see Lionpaw, but she knew she couldn't.

"Right here." Flamewing meowed, padding out of his den, "Is something wrong? You look stressed. Want to talk in your den?"

The leader nodded firmly. "Yes. That's a good idea." He replied, flicking his fluffy tail for Flamewing to follow.

Flamewing padded into Demonstar's den, laid down, and meowed, "Now tell me what's troubling you."

~Can Demonstar and Flamewing be best friends?~

Mossfire walked to the leader's den "Demonstar, may I come in?" She asked "If not I'm just setting patrols." (This is hard, I know I came over at a bad time!) She walked to the clearing and called "Redtalon, are you fit to hunt?" She asked her mate with a flick of her tail.

Birchpaw decided he would make sure all the herbs here in place to surprise Flamewing "Why is there a borage leaf in the poppyseed pile?" He asked himself and fixed up the mess, hoping Flamewing wouldn't be mad at him. He continued sorting the herbs.

Demonstar looked at the entrance to his den then looked back to his best friend and medicine cat once Mossfire left. "I had a dream. It was of Griffinstar and me fighting with our Clans clashing around us. The background was blurry, so I am not quite sure where we were. Under our paws though, was a pile of freshkill. Ii was wondering what that could have to do with anything and if maybe StarClan sent me a sign..." the black tom trailed off. He was exhaustingly worried for his Clan.

"What an odd dream. I don't know what it could mea- Wait... Prey... Fighting... There must be a shortage of prey coming soon!" Flamewing exclaimed, "What should we do about it?"

Birchpaw finished and looked around, proud. He also laid a pile of Borage and poppy on the ground for the queens. He sat in his nest and waited for Flamewing.

Mossfire sat in the clearing nest to the fresh kill the pile was low, "Redtalon?" She called.

Griffinstar sat by the nursery entrance, looking at the small fresh-kill pile, thinking about a dream he had. He didn't know it, but it was the same dream that Demonstar had. "It must be a dream from starclan..." he murmured. He padded into the medicine den, looking for the medicine cat.

Echocloud looked at the leader "Hi," she sniffed "Griffinstsr, right? What is it?"she asked the leader. She stepped forward and sat by him. "Come sit she told him after making sure that it was him.

~There's already a prey shortage. And what happened to the hunting patrol Falconheart was on...?~

~it disappeared? I guess.~

Griffinstar sat down and said, "I had a strange dream. Me and Demonstar were fighting and our clans were fighting around us. There was a pile of fresh-kill under our paws. I think it might be a sign from starclan, about the prey shortage."

"It makes sense....does that mean we'll be fighting for prey?" The mighty tom shivered at the thought. Did he really want that for his Clan? No. He'd do anything to stop his Clan from starving.

"I guess so, Demonstar. We'll have to savor our prey for a while." Flamewing sighed.

~Haha! I just resell like saying the same exact thing as Flamewing! XD~

Echoucloud unsheathed her claws "it mist mean PheonixClan and GriffknClan will meet in battle because they blame the other Clan for stealing prey, I sure hope I don't get stuck in the middle of battle." She half-joked in the end (Unlike Jayfeather she wanted to be a medicene cat and has no super powas. ) she paced wondering if she couldn't stop the battleing. "Griffinstar, I don't think I can do anything. I think the Clan is in the paws of StarClan. I'll think of something I can do to help." (Can Griffinstar be her brother?)

Redtalon returned from the patrol with the two apprentices. They could only manage to find one eagle, who was apparently very weak from his own lack of food. He dropped in the fresh-kill pile an cleaned himself.

Redpaw looked for his mentor, but once again, he couldn't find him. He must've been in his den, then. Redpaw was looking forward to training for battles. He stopped by to see his brother. "Hello? Birchpaw?" he called into the medicine hollow.
