Phoenixclan vs. Griffinclan

Phoenixclan cats live in the desert, and are able to stand great temperatures. They are also very fast. They hunt large birds and are good at jumping. Griffinclan cats live in the mountains by the desert. They are very strong, and are used to living in the colder climate of the mountains. They are also good at jumping and hunt large birds. During a shortage of prey, the two clans accuse eachother of prey stealing, and are on the verge of war.

Mossfire urged her kits forward. "Go, Birchkit!" She ordered the kit "You too Redkit!" She shot an affectionate glance at Redtalon and then turned back to see her kits had already bounced toward the Sand Pile. They're going to be great apprentices. she thought.

Echocloud cam through the nursery to announce the birth of the kits "A she-kit and a tom. Both healthy. Griffinstar you may come back in." The elderly medicene cat walked stiffly back to the nursery "Eat this it will help with your milk." She ordered the new mother.

~Borage, the stuff I gave you, is bitter. And sorry for that missing the kitting.~

"How about Snowkit, Leopardkit, and Sunkit?" Griffinstar meowed to Eaglecall. He smiled as he looked at the three kits.


Featherfire watched from by the nursery entrance as the kits went up to get their apprentice names.

~Should Featherfire have her kits when the ceremony is over?~

"They're perfect." Eaglecall purred, she ate the borage leaves, and looked at the kits, who were suckling at her belly. She rested her head on the ground, exhausted. I'm a mother... and he's a father... she thought happily. She closed her eyes and slowly fell asleep.

Echocloud turned to the new mother "Shall I leave, Eaglecall?" She asked as the queen closed her eyes.

Mossdire watched her kits earn they're apprentice names Birchpaw and Redpaw. It would be perfect.

Griffinstar watched his newborn kits as their mother fell asleep. Leopardkit open his eyes for the first time and Griffinstar smiled at him. The kit looked up curiously at him and he whispered, "I'm your father, young Leopardkit." He decided not to wake Eaglecall and let her rest, and soon, all of the kits fell asleep by her.

~Yeah. Flamewing.~
Flamewing open his eyes to see the clan awake. He got up and stretched. H padded out of his den and smiled at everyone. he got a piece of fresh kill nd started eat.

"Yes!" Lionpaw exclaimed before taking off and knocking the freshkill pile apart.
Falconheart turned to her mate. "There you are," she purred. "Ready to kill an eagle?"

"An eagle," he pondered. "That would be nice..." He finished stretching and took one last long yawn, looking at Lionclaw eagerly eating with gusto. "Well I'm ready," he replied to Falconheart. "Aren't you coming along?"

Mossfire walked into the clearing "Hi, Flamewing!" She smiled back at him and raced toward the medicene cat "Birchpaw has been all up in stuff that I think you may know about. When Milkfur brought in borahe he started investigateing and wouldn't let me say it!" She turned to her son "Birchkit!! Come here!" She called. The kit came over "Flamewing, I want to be your apprentice!" He told him right away.

Echocloud walked back to the medicene den and called for Griffinstar "Griffinstar! Can I borrow an apprentice I need to gather herbs."

Flamewing was shocked.. Overjoyed. "really? I-I'll talk to Demonstar about it. I would love to have you as an apprentice! You always helped me when you were younger." he meowed, "I'll be right back." He padded to the entance of Demonstar's den, and meowed, "Demonstar, may I speak with you?"

"Yay!" Birchpaw cheered. "Wow, good for you Birchpaw." She walked over to the warriors den to re-claim her nest and to see Redtalon.

Echocloid waited for a reply from her leader.

Lionpaw looked up, remembering that Swiftstrike had said, "share." Embarrassed, he offered half the rabbit to the deputy.
Falconheart mewed, "Of course!" She nosed Sharpclaw affectionately as she waited for Swiftstrike.

Demonstar had just dozed off. He hadnt slept much lately so he was annoyed when he was woken. Since it was his medicine cat however, he stayed calm. "Come in, Flamewing." He sighed, sitting up and practically glaring at everything. The black leader shook his head and growled at himself. He was ashamed for being so selfish when his Clan was in need.

Redtalon met his mate halfway there.
"Out kits are apprentices!" he exclaimed happily, licking Mossfire's ear affectionately. I can't wait until they're warriors."

Flamewing walked in, and saw Demonstar looked mad. "Are you ok?" he asked sitting down, "Anyways, Birchkit wants to be my apprentice... Is that alright?" He looked at Demonstar and meowed, "You look like you need sleep. I'll give you poppyseeds later."

"Im fine. Just a bit tired. Birchpaw is welcome to be your apprentice. Congradulations, old friend." Demonstar gave an exhausted smile. "To tell the truth, I havent been able to sleep because I have been worrying about how my kits are doing and if their mother will be okay as well...." he looked at his paws bashfully. A rare event for Demonstar.

Swiftstrike shook her head in amusement. "I'm not very hungry." She split her piece in half and tossed the bigger half to Falconheart. "Share it with Sharpclaw." The GriffinClan deputy lowered her head and took a bite of the rabbit, chewing the soft flesh.

"Oh, don't worry. She'll be fine. So will the kits.. I promise you. I'll get you some poppyseeds." Flamewing meowed. He padded out of the den and went to find Birchpaw. He found him and meows, "Birchpaw, we'll start exploring the territory tomorrow."

Eaglecall woke up, the kits and Griffinstar with her. She saw Leopardkit's eyes were open. So were Sunkit's! Both of their eyes were a beautiful light blue. She whispered, "I'm your mother, Eaglecall." she whispered as she fell back asleep.

Demonstar nodded unsurely. He then sighed again, getting to his paws to find Redpaw. He had decided that he was going to be his apprentice. It was about time he moved on from his last apprentice, Scorpionpaw.

"Sure," Griffinstar meowed to the medicine cat, "You can borrow an apprentice."

Feather was back in her nest in the nursery, about to fall asleep, when she felt a sharp pain. She yowled out in pain and yowled, "The kits are coming!"

~A need a cat from each clan to steal prey from the other clan and let a cat from the other clan see while not letting anyone from your own clan know to help start the war~

~Lionpaw can, we can pretend that Flamepaw gives him a piece during one of their secret meetings and Flamepaw doesn't tell but PhoenixClan blames GriffinClan~

I wonder if PhoenixClan is having the same problem, Lionpaw thought. During his recent meetings with Flamepaw, he had noticed the she-cat looking slimmer than usual.
Falconheart nudged the piece of rabbit toward Sharpclaw. "Here," she meowed. "I'm not hungry."

Demonstar perked his ears once his mate's cry reached his sharp ears. Barreling into the nursery, he quickly shot back out of it in search for a stick of some sort. "Hold on, Feather...." he mumbled as he searched frantically.

Sharpclaw glanced at the portion of rabbit, and gulped it down, feeling his energy level rise significantly. Staring off into the distance, he asked Falconheart, "Ready for patrol yet? We should get going soon..."

Featherfire screeched in pain again and said, "Wheres the medicine cat!"

Griffinstar smiled as his Leopardkit looked curiously around the nusery. The young kit crawled closer to his mother and got a piece of moss stuck on his head.

"FLAMEWING! GET YOUR TAIL IN HERE!" He roared. Demonstar had found a stick and was trying to calm his mate. It didnt seem towork since he too struggled to stay composed.
