Volepaw smiled at Petalpaw and whispered. "Thanks."

Cloudpaw purred watching Spottedkit. She pricked her ears and looked at Volepaw giving him a puzzled look. "Your leaving so soon? But its a kit!" Cloudpaw mewed softly. "Well, I want to go hunting with Petalpaw. Im so restless and ready to get out of camp too..." He mewed. Cloudpaw narrowed her eyes. "Fine." She growled. She whipped around to looked at Spottedkit and purred.

Volepaw narrowed his eyes at his sister and sighed. Sometimes Cloudpaw can be a pain in the tail. But now I get to go hunting with Petalpaw! He thought happily. "Ready when you are." He mewed turning to Petalpaw with a sly smile.

Springfall stood up, and hissed "FIne! I'll just find someone else who really WILL want and love Beestar's and I's kits!" and nearly wanted to swipe Goldenstream's face. Trembling in maternal rage, Springfall stalked up to Goldenstream and snarled "I hope your happy!" and then she whirled away, and hissed "I'm going back to camp, where I can atleast be with Spottedkit!" and she plunged into undergrowth. Never before had Springfall felt so much rage in her viens at once. Belly-bitting, dirt sniffing,Kit killing, family tormenting tom! And I crurse the day I ever met Darkfire! And I wish Goldenstream's ears are clawed by a thorn bush, her tail chewed off by foxes, and not too mention how I will always hate her! these gorey, cussing thought suprized her yet made her rage drain a little bit more.

"Springfall! Did you even hear what I said?Darkfire loves his kits! And he always will! And I will never keep him from them!" Goldenstream cried, hoping Springfall would come back.

Beestar ran to her mate and stood in front of her. ''Hey. If you don't want to go to the gathering, that's fine. But There is no need to get upset. Think about our kits for a minute. They don't need this kind of stress on them.'' She purred and licked Springfall, hoping it would help calm her down. ''Darkfire does want to be their father.''

Volepaw narrowed his yellow eyes and growled. "Where's RainbowClan? They should be here by now." He mewed. Pantherstrike shrugged. "Maybe they thought they'd be too ashamed..." He whispered to Shadowsong who giggled lightly. Cloudpaw narrowed her eyes. "Hey!" She said with a small smile. Pantherstrike cuffed Cloudpaw on the ear gently. "Ya know, you two should come back to ShadowClan ya know." Shadowsong nodded in agreement. Cloudpaw eyed Volepaw and turned herself to look at the ShadowClan warriors. "You know we cant go back." She mewed. Pantherstrike snarled. "Well, Volepaw can. You always drag him into things he doesnt want to do. He could have just stayed in ShadowClan where he belongs!" Volepaw narrowed his eyes and tried his best to ignore all three of them.

"Well, I don't want him to be, He's already obbessed with Goldenstream, and I don't him alwasy bringing her to see the kits!" Springfall growled, and flicked her ear, and her shoulders sagged, and her head sank between her paws. "Darkfire says he'll be there for the kits, but that just isn't enough..." she whimmpered, and then she spit "I had to grow up without a father, and Spottedkit will too, but he's lucky enough to have two mothers, but I'd rather our kits to have no father instead of having a father who doesn't even know who they are ,because he's always to busy sticking his nose into some other she-cats fur!" she spat, and raked her claws across a mushroom, and tore it too the groud.

"No one ever asked him to do anything more than to help us have the kits Springfall." Beestar tried to reason with her. "We'll manage without him if you want. But if he wants to be there for them...We should let him. I mean...we didn't ask him to be our mate or anything...and if he is going to love another she-cat, why get upset about it? You're not being fair to him by making him choose between our kits, who we didn't think he'd be interested in, and the one he loves." She is acting as bad as Bellawing.

"I guess your right...But I still don't want anyhting to do with Goldenstream!" she grumbled, feeling a slight twinging and twisting in her belly. "Why....Why don't we get on to the gathering?" she mewed, rasing her head from her paws.

Beestar's eyes brightened with relief, and began to purr loudly. "Of course. We don't want to arrive after everyone is gone." She waited for Springfall to get up and follow her.

"Yeah..." Springfall mewed, feeling discomfort turning to pangs in her belly. "Hmm...I think I should of eaten more before we left, my belly feels awfully cramped!" she muttered, trying to strech out her cramps, but they grew even more tighter. But dissmissing the cramps, she padded after her mate.

Beestar rubbed Springfall's belly with her tail. "You sure you're feeling okay? If you don't think you should go, then maybe it might be best if you go to the nursery." She licked her mate in the face.

Featherfire agreed and started walking over to where Bellawing was left. She heard the sounds of a cat in labor and rushed over to help. She realized that it was Bellawing and stood there in shock thinking of what to do. SHe ran over to Ravenshadow and told him what was happening. "I am going to help her even if i do not like her." She ran over and started asking what she could do to help.

Ravenshadow couldn't believe that Bellawing was in labor already. Following Featherfire, he went over to his mate's side then looked at Lillypaw and Angel. "What do we need to do?" He asked the ThunderClan medicine cat apprentice. It's too early for her to be going into labor. StarClan...Please don't let anything happen to her or the kits!!

"She will be fine." Angel meowed, "I know it. And her kits, I do not know."

"No, No. I think its just because the kits are excited for the gathering!" Springfall purred, and then licked her mate's cheeck, and sighed "Let's go before we're really missed!"

Beestar nodded her head and started heading back. Suddenly she heard the sound of a cat in labor nearby. Following the sound, she came upon Featherfire, Angel, Ravenshadow, and a ThunderClan cat surrounding Bellawing who was lying on the ground. "Great StarClan!" Beestar meowed in surprise. "We need to get this she-cat somewhere safe!" When can RainbowClan have a break from all of this drama and excitement?

"No." Angel demanded, "If we move her, she could get hurt. Keep her here."

~Are we at the gathering or still at camp? Oh, whatever, I'll try to do my best.~

Petalpaw leaned against a tree, watching all the drama unfold. Oh this is stupid. All this because of mates and all this other stuff. If this always happens when cats start liking each other... then why-why should I ever like another cat and end up hurting myself and others more? Just look what happened with Cloudpaw and Volepaw that afternoon, when they ran away without telling anyone. I guess no one really likes me; no one in ShadowClan really liked me either. Am I a burden everywhere I go? Maybe I just ought to go and live by myself in the mountains. Bitter resentment edged her thoughts, soured by painful memories. "Only Nightshadow really cared," Petalpaw muttered and edged backwards into the shadows.

Darkfire looked at Goldenstream. He quickly followed Beestar and Springfall. He saw Bellawing in labor. He groaned inwardly. How much he envied his old self now. No drama, nothing. "She should be okay," he heard Dovewing say to Beestar. "Just let her do what she needs to." Darkfire walked over to Beestar. "Is everything a'ight with Springfall now?" he whispered in her ear.

Silvermoon sighed. "Let's go to the gathering then tell everyone that the rest of Rainbowclan is coming in a few," said Silvermoon micheivously to Crystallight. "What do ya think?" she laughed.

Beestar looked at Darkfire and nodded her head. "I think she's calmed down now, but it might be some time before she becomes friends with Goldenstream though." She mewed softly. "I can't believe Shadowflight died and now Bellawing having her kits, and before we reached the gathering...." She looked at the crowd around Bellawing. "We need to keep going now. Some of us should stay with Bellawing, but the rest should go before it's too late. I think Fireflame needs to be told about what's happening to her daughter as well."

"Sure!!" Crystallight purred excitedly. "I want to see what this gathering is like, and I'm getting tired of all this drama stopping us. Let's go!!!"
"Are you two going ahead to gathering?" A brown she-cat who looked like Beestar mewed at the couple. She must be Beestar's mother.
"Umm...yes we are." Crystallight mewed.
"Okay, well then you can come with me then. WindClan must be worried about me....And maybe you could tell me about this...RainbowClan my kit has become the leader of."

"Oh okay. Well, I just wanted her to know that I care about the kits and all that," replied Darkfire. "Too much drama... I'm not used to this.."

Silvermoon looked at the cat. "Oh hello. I'm Silvermoon and this is Crystallight. You must be Beestars mother. What's you name?" she asked kindly. "And yes. We'd love to tell you about Rainbowclan." She started walking with Beestar's mother and Crystallight to the gathering.

Beestar sighed, "None of us are I'm afraid Darkfire. Hopefully after the gathering we won't have any more of this drama going on for a long while." She looked back and saw Pheasantfur walking off with Crystallight and Silvermoon. "We better catc up with them." She got up and started walking towards them.

"Yes I am. My name is Pheasantfur. Very pleased to meet you two as well." The she-cat mewed at Silvermoon. Crystallight thought she seemed to be a nice cat. "So...Um...are you and Crystallight....'life-partners' too?" Crystallight sensed some discomfort from Pheasantfur as she asked that question.
"Yes we are...along with Ravenpelt." Crystallight answered softly. "We're part of a...'three-way relatinship' you might say."

"Emm... yes. We're both expecting kits as well," purred Silvermoon. "It's nice to meet you Pheasantfur." She paused. "You're daughter has made a clan which makes everyone feel welcome." She looked at Pheasantfur.

Darkfire nodded and followed Beestar. He caught up with his sister. "Hey sis," he mewed. "Heyooo," Silvermoon mrrowed.

"Oh...Congratulations!!!" Pheasantfur purred softly back. "She has?" Pheasantfur looked back to see Beestar coming up towards them. "I'm...I'm very proud and pleased to hear that."

Beestar couldn't help but purr hearing her own mother say that. At last she saw acceptance and love in her eyes. "Thank you." Beestar whispered to her.

"Hey you!!" Crystallight mewed playfully at Darkfire as she gave him a welcoming lick. "So...are you and Goldenstream mates?"

"Yes. All of us are proud to have her as a leader," purred Silvermoon. "Shouldn't we be at the gathering by now?"

Darkfire rolled her eyes. "Nooooooooo... At least not yet," he chuckled. He stuck his tongue out at Crystallight.

Volepaw narrowed his eyes looking for that familiar pelt. Where's Petalpaw? Wheres RainbowClan!? I knew I shouldnt have gone with Cloudpaw! Pantherstrike is right I guess about her dragging me into everything but I wont let her do that next time. Better wait for RainbowClan and Petalpaw I guess... He thought. Volepaw pricked his ears as he heard the ShadowClan leader Pinestar arguing with the ThunderClan leader Graystar. "Why are we even waiting Graystar! They'll never show up! Their too ashamed!" Pinestar snarled thrusting his face up to the ThunderClan leader and Graystar's eyes widened slightly. Not backing down he snarled just as fiercely. "There coming!" Pinestar closed his eyes and sighed. "Listen I respect you but Im sick and tired of waiting." Graystar narrowed his eyes. "Give them at least a little more time." Volepaw turned away from the leader's argument.
