Splashstep trotted into camp, freshkill in his jaws. His dark blue eyes shined as he plopped two plump pikes and a water vole into the fresh kill pile. "Hmm, maybe I should go and catch more..." he mewed to himself, seeing the almost empty freashkill pile.

Splash tail yawned as she came out of the warriors den on a hot, sunny greenleaf day. She left camp to go hunting and when she scented the air, she smelled smoke. She rushed back to camp yowling "Dreamstar, theres a fire!"

"what? Where?" Splashstep mewed in alarm. He sniffed the air and smelled smoke, the acrid scent burning in his nostrils. Splashstep sneezed slightly and pawwed his burning nose. "It's close..." he murmured in horror.

Dreamstar woke up smelling smoke. "Is there a fire?! Someone go check where it is! Follow the smoke, but don't go too close to the fire!" Dreamstar ordered.

"I'll go too," Ripplefern offered. She'd always been experience with fires ever since she'd been trapped by a huge inferno when she was a young apprentice. "We should leave the camp, because the smoke will be dangerous to our lungs."
