A Visit to IceClan's Fortress

Iceclaw was trudging through the thick snow, which was almost burying her. Gales of strong wind slammed against the group as they made their way towards the IceClan's Fortress. "Almost there," she mewed encouragingly through her teeth as she carried Phoenixkit gingerly by her scruff. Her voice was muffled by the brewing snowstorm.

Hope flared through her when she spotted the familiar entrance of IceClan's Fortress, wedged between two mountains. She glanced back at her companions. Her sister, Snowlily was next to her while Honeystar, Lightningstorm and her brother Heavystep was behind. She narrowed her eyes at Heavystep. She and Snowlily didn't really like him.

Kittystar heard Fang's screech and hurried over to him. "Fang! Whats wrong?!?!" she called, worried about her friend but yet happy was out in the fresh air, not locked away in the fortress. "Fang! Whats wrong??" she called again.

"Duma`s missing! Do you have any idea where he might be?" He opened his jaws, scenting the air for Duma`s scent.

Kittystar paused and mewed "Duma was with us when we left the camp....! Do you think he went back to the tribe?!" she mewed, trying to remember when she last saw Duma.

Fang turned around suddenly "He went to the tribe?! Does Iceclaw know?" He looked down at his paws as he metnioned his old mate`s name.

Kittystar sighed and mewed "Fang, its ok, when it comes to the kits, any mother would put aside her grudges or anything she has against her mate to save her kits!" she mewed, wincing because she wasn't the bes with this stuff.

Fang looked up at Kittystar "Thanks, you`re a good friend. Can you get Iceclaw for me? I`m heading to the Tribe."

Iceclaw heard her name being called and padded over. "Yes?" she hissed, narrowing her eyes.

Kittystar turned around and mewed "Iceclaw! Duma's missing, so I'm going to take Fang back to the tribe's home to find Duma! Wanna come?" she asked

Iceclaw shot a withering look at Fang. "Sure," she replied, bounding after Kittystar.

Fang looked at his paws when Iceclaw looked at him, he felt guilty about breaking up with her, then he shook his head "Well, what are we waiting for?"
