"Come, let's find your mother," Iceclaw purred, leading Phoenix into the Tribe cave. "Snowlily!" she yowled.

Honeystar was on his way to the nest he was sleeping in for the night. Then he heard Iceclaw yowl for Snowlily. He decided to go investigate. "Iceclaw what's wrong?..." He stopped as he noticed the little ginger kit that was following Iceclaw into the camp.

Iceclaw was relieved to see Honeystar. "I'm looking for Snowlily. Did you see her?" she asked.

"Last time I saw her she was outside the Nursery." Honeystar replied. "Is that one of her kits?!"

Iceclaw confirmed Honeystar's suspicions with a nod. "Phoenixkit and thanks." She raced of with Phoenixkit in search of Snowlily.

"Snowlily's kit?" Kitkat meowed, she overheard what Honeystar and Iceclaw were talking about. "Why is she here?"

"She must have followed Iceclaw and Snowlily all the way from IceClan Camp." Honeystar guessed.

Phoenixkit tried to keep up with Iceclaw as they searched for Snowlily. But her poor paws were sore and she was still exhausted from her travels. Not to mention hungry. She soon picked up the scent of milk and followed it into the Nursery.
"Mommy?!" she cried out loud enough for the whole camp to hear.

Worried Applefur padded up to Iceclaw. "Was she alright when you found her? There werent any injuries right?" She asked a look of concern in her eyes.

"My paws hurt." Phoenixkit mewed as she showed her tiny paws all blistered.

Applefur licked Phoenixkit's tiny paws gently. "You need to rest little one. How about we find you a nest and you relax. I'll get you something to eat and we can find Snowlily. Sound good to you?" Applefur suggested gently.

"WHat the noodles is going on here?! Phoenixkit?! Is that Phoenixkit?? WHy is she here?? Is Iceclan in trouble???"

Kitkat's meassage-
Hi......

"Im guessing she wondered where Iceclaw and Snowlily went and she followed them." Applefur mewed. "My kits did that too." She mewed with a purr of amusement and proud happiness. Applefur flicked her tail in the direction of Autumnpaw and Leopardpaw laughing and cheering as Boltpaw and Stormpaw fought but with their claws sheathed. "Their becoming great warriors." Applefur mewed looking at her kits with a smile.

Phoenixkit let out a yawn, and nuzzled close to Applefur while purring softly.

Kittystar shook her head and meowed "Well you better take her to the nursery before she burns to death in the sun!" then she padded away, her beautiful silver grey striped coat glimmering in the heat.

Applefur narrowed her eyes confused by Kittystar's remark. She looked down at Phoenixkit and smiled, purring. "Lets get you to a nest. I'll get you something to eat." Applefur mewed with a calm smile. She nuzzled Phoenixkit and added. "I'll even carry you to a warm nest." She said with a mrrow of amusement and padded into a cave and laid Phoenixkit down very gently in a nest lined with soft feathers. "Stay here and I'll be back with food." Applefur mewed with a smile and headed out of the den.

Phoenixkit curled up in the nest, and began to close her eyes. She still wanted Snowlily, but at least she wasn't sleeping outside in a bush anymore.

Honeystar went back to his nest and flopped right down to sleep. So much had been going on yesterday and last night. He still couldn't believe that Phoenixkit had managed to travel all the way here from her nursery. Thank StarClan my kits never wandered off this far when they were her age.

Autumnpaw laughed and watched Stormpaw pin Boltpaw down again. Boltpaw pushed his laughing brother off him and he stood shaking out his pelt. Autumnpaw looked up hearing a screech of an eagle above. Autumnpaw looked around seeing for one split second an eagles face. Its talons grabbed her sides. "Help me!" Autumnpaw screeched at the top of her lungs. The eagle started flying upwards. He could take away Autumnpaw for she was still small. "Autumnpaw!!" Applefur cried and raced forward eyes narrowed determindly. She couldnt bear Autumnpaw hurt a bit and would never want to lose her daughter. Applefur leaped in the air and slashed at the eagle. It dropped Autumnpaw but before it could fly away Applefur leaped on top of the eagle's back. They plummeted down to the ground and before the eagle could move Applefur quickly killed it. She raced to Autumnpaw. Autumnpaw was surrounded by her brothers and sister. "Are you ok?" Applefur asked. "I just got a small scratch mama no big deal though." She told her. Applefur gasped in horror. "You need to see the medicine cat right now!" She cried picking Autumnpaw up by the scruff. "Mom! Put me down! Take the eagle to Phoenixkit and I'll then go to the medicine cat ok?" Applefur set her daughter down. "Alright but dont hurt yourself! I'll be back." Applefur mewed. Autumnpaw padded away and Applefur picked up the eagle and into the nursery. "Goodness, my kit gave me a heart attack." Applefur mumbled with a small giggle.

KIttystar padded down the ridge and spat at a another empty eagle nest where blood was littered around the nest. "Another piece of prey stolen! Eagle-hearts! We have kits to feed! I hate those noodling starys!!!!!!!!!!" then she trailed back to camp.

Iceclaw padded over to Phoenixkit and lay down next to her before drifting off to sleep.

Cranepaw was still in shock from watching the eagle take Autumnpaw right in front of everyone. Cold reality began to sink into his mind. This is what I'll be dealing with for at least a moon. Hunting prey that can hunt you as well. He decided to follow Autumnpaw and see if he could at least help with her wounds.

Autumnpaw looked over at Cranepaw. "Hi Cranepaw!" She said with a smile. "Whats up?" Autumnpaw asked.

"Ummm..I wanted to see if I could maybe do something to help... heal your wounds?"

Phoenixkit woke up to the sound of an eagle screeching and cats yowling.
"Iceclaw what's going on?!" she mewed as she nudged at Iceclaw to wake up.
