Tribe Apprentice Ceremony! { Tribe only!}

Kittystar nuzzled Gracekit quickly one last time, then fixed a tuffty fluffy piece of fur on Mallowkit's ear before she sat back and purred "There, you two look lovely, all nice and ready for your Apprentice ceremony!" Mallowkit smiled and Kittystar sniffled and purred "Seems just like yeterday you were opening your eyes!" Gracekit padded forward and streched on her toes before she nuzzled her mother. "Right! Lets go!" Kittystar mewed and led her kits out onto the Highledge and summoned "Let all cats old enough to hunt eagles gather here, under the high ledge for a clan meeting!" she yowled, pride brusting out of her. Her kits bounced excitedly while the tribe gathered.

Snakefire entered the camp with a glimmer in his eye he expected the camp to be sharing tongues at this moment but it wasn't so. There were two kits on the highledge with Kittystar. He took one glance and remembered them as his two kits. I cant believe I was gone for 4 whole moons, he thought.
At first he just expected to take only several sundowns to find what he was looking for but on the third night he was attacked by a monster. He spent a long time in a twoleg's home, waiting for his injured leg to heal. When he finally healed it took him days to run away and find the tribe lands but he soon did and he also found what he was looking for. It was a jagged cluster of crystal encrusted rocks that glimmered when the moon hit it. He had found the tribe's scared spot.
Snakefire looked up at them and puffed his chest out when he saw his grown kits. He was proud how much they had grown without him.

Dreamcloud padded out of the nursery, herding her kits out with her tail. "When will WE get to be apprentices?!" Lilykit demanded. "Soon." Dreamcloud replied. She sat down, but then she saw Snakefire. "Snakefire! You've returned!" Dreamcloud shouted, "I've had my kits!" Lilykit and Snowkit looked at Snakefire, eyes wide with fear. "Who's that, mama?" Snowkit asked. "Snakefire is Gracekit and Mallowkit's father." Dreamcloud explained. Lilykit jumped up unexpectedly and screamed, "MALLOWKIT, GRACEKIT, SNAKEFIRE IS HERE!" Deamcloud covered Lilykit's mouth with her tail and whispered, "Be quiet or you're not going outside at all tomorrow!" Lilykit sat up straight and looked at Dreamcloud and winced, "Yes, mommy..." Snowkit started chuckling at Lilykit, but then Dreamcloud shot a glance at him. Snowkit sat up straight, like his sister did so, and looked at Kittystar. Dreamcloud looked at her sister proudly, happy that her niece and nephew are going to be apprentices. I can't wait until my kits go up there! she thought exitedly.

Snakefire chuckled,"Congratulations Dreamcloud, and hello kits". He turned his face up to the rock again,"I can't believe I've been away this long".

"You've been gone for what? 5, 6 moons?" Dreamcloud meowed. Lilykit mewed, "Mama, can we leave yet?" Snowkit asked. "No. You can talk to Snakefire so you can get to know him." Dreamcloud replied. Lilykit looked at Dreamcloud and Dreamcloud nodded, knowing that she wanted to talk to Snakefire also. "Hello, Snakefire!" Lilykit squeaked, "Why were you gone for so long?"

Kittystar whipped around from her kits, her eyes widening and she cried "Snakefire!" and leaped straight off the high ledge, to her mate, leaving her kits to scramble after her. "Snakefire! Your back! Oh Thank Starclan! Your ok!" Kittystar smiled, slowing to a hault on the smooth limestone rock of the camp. "Daddy! Your home!" yelled Mallowkit excitedly racing past his mom and sister and leaped onto his dad and Kittystar gave a smile while Gracekit slowed to a stop beside her mom mewing "Daddy! You need to tell us the whole story about finding the moonrock!" she sqealed in delight.

Tigerspirit padded to Snakefire "Welcome back! Did you find what you were looking for?" She smiled at the excited kits.

Snakefire laughed and smiled, his eyes glittering, full of untold knowledge. "Well I was sent by our leader to go find a moonstone for our tribe. After a few hardships I came across a cave in the desert. there are cactus leaning over in, as if to shield it from the world but there is a small entrance. Once I stepped inside the cool damp floor came to meet me, i thought it was an abandoned desert fox den but later when the moon was right above my head, the moonlight was attracted to the big rock in the center. And then the light was passed on into crystals surrounding the rock. I pressed my nose to it and I was filled with peace and I soon feel asleep with warmth in my heart". He smiled,finally finished.

Kittystar smiled and nuzzled her mate, purring and whispered "You came just in time to see our kits become apprentices!" she purred and turned around and let out a horrified muffled sqeak. "Mallowkit! Your pelt! It took ages to get that sparkly and beautiful!" she gasped and insantly began to groom her son. Then when she finished she turned around and mewed to her mate "Shall we get on with the ceremony?" then she bounced around and mewed quietly to her sister " DO you think you can handel being Mallowkit's mentor?" before she leaped on the High Ledge and her tribe gathered.

"You-you-you want me to be Mallowkit's mentor?! Oh, yes, Kittystar, I can! I won't let you down!" Dreamcloud meowed exitedly. I'm going to be my nephew's mentor! She couldn't help but to smile at the thought.

Kittystar smiled and purred "Well, you both are bundels of energy! You two should be able to keep up with eachother!" then she laughed and purred "Well, we better get on with the ceremony!" then she lead her kits up to the high ledge and waited for the rest of her tribe to gather.

"Lilykit, Snowkit, come here!" Dreamcloud called. The two energetic kits raced over to Dreamcloud. "What do you need, mama?" Snowkit asked. "For you to sit down right next to me and be quiet, because your cousins are about to become apprentices!" Dreamcloud meowed. "Yay!" Lilykit squeaked. The two kits sat down, one on each side of their mother. Dreamcloud started to groom Lilykit, and then she switched over to Snowkit. She stopped and waited for her sister to call the Tribe meeting to order.

Kittystar smiled and mewed loudly "Today, we gather here to witness the coming of age for two kits. Today, we welcome two kits into the world of training and battling!" She paused and beckond Mallowkit forward. "Mallowkit, your young yet filled with passion for hunting and battling. From now on, your name shall be Malllowpaw, and your mentor shall be Dreamcloud. " She smiled and Mallowpaw scrambled down the side of the high ledge to Dreamcloud. "Now, Gracekit. You've been quick, sharp and sly since the moment you could walk!" she purred then continued " But you showed passion in caring for others but knowing when to show them no mercey. And from this moment on, you shall be know as Gracepaw and Tigerspirit shall be your mentor!" she smiled as Gracepaw tumbled down the rock side to Tigerspirit.

"Mallowpaw, Gracepaw!" Dreamcloud and her kits shouted. Dreamcloud walked over to Mallowpaw to touch (?) noses with him. "Congrats, Mallowpaw!" Dreamcloud meowed.

Mallowpaw smiled and mewed proudly "Soon, I'm gonna be the best warrior ever!" then he turned to his sister before boasting loudly " I am the first ever Apprentice in the tribe history!" and Gracepaw rolled her eyes at him and laughed "Yea right!" and Mallowpaw charged to into Gracepaw, rolling around tussling.

"Yeah, you'll be the best warrior ever because I'm your mentor!" Dreamcloud laughed. "RAWR! I'm a Desert Rouge!" Snowkit squealed. "Help, Mallowpaw and Gracepaw! Only you can stop him!" Lilykit squeaked.

Kittystar smiled, but she couldn't help but feeling empty. She missed being needed by her kits, she missed being depended on by her only kits, but she had to realized a mother can only hold onto her kits for soo long....

Mallowpaw snorted and boasted "I'm an apprentice, I'm to old for those kit games!" but his eyes held a twinkle that revealed his personality.

"Help! Please! The rouge's going to get me!" Lilykit 'cried'. Snowkit attacked her and Lilykit let him pin her down to try and make Mallowpaw and Gracepaw help.

Kittystar leaped down and purred "Now, now, we can't haveour apprentices tried before they even start their training!" she laughed emptily and then dragged herself back to her den and curled up in her mossy nest and insantly fell asleep.

Tigerspirit touched noses with Gracepaw, "You'll make a great warrior someday." Her eyes twinkled in pride as she looked at her new apprentice.
