"Hey can I join you guys?" Cloud mewed.

Breeze saw Dawn and called her over."Dawn want to come hunt with me?We'd be better together."

"Sure Cloud!" Gray replied. She swiftly padded out of the cave.

Cloud shook out her dappled silver fur and trotted after Gray.

~You have to be 8 moons to be an apprentice in a tribe.~ Dove padded out into the clearing, her eyes shining. This was one of her most important days! This was the day she had to prove herself worthy of being a prey hunter!

Gray mewed," The most basic thing is to crouch low." She dropped into a crouch and moved forward quickly through the patch of wild grass. "The wild grass is an advantage. Use it. Falcons and hawks won't be able to spot us."

Grace padded over to Gray "You are a good teacher. Your apprentice is lucky."

"Thank you," Gray nodded gratefully.

~err... we're out of camp. and you're in camp. how could you possibly be talking to me?"

~ I never said Grace was in the camp...I said Dove was.~
"Anytime!" She mewed, happily. "I`m going out hunting by the wolf den, otherwise I would invite you."

~ You said Grace over to Gray... Gray is out of camp ~

~Ya! But I never said Grace was in camp! So, how could you think that she was in camp??~

Windy tried the crouch but she slid side ways and then she wailed" Dang it! I can't do any thing right!"

"No, you`re excellent! You just need practice!" Grace picked him up by his scruff and set him down and licked his ear "I can practice with you for extra practice! You`ll be the best this tribe has ever seen! Not that you`re not already."

Gray's eyes gleamed with amusement.

Ash stepped forward. "Make sure you have traction. Keep your paws strong so your dont slip. Also do take note you got to walk toward your prey like that." Ash dropped into a battle crouch. "This is a battle crouch. Gray though will teach you the hunter's crouch but they are very similar." Ash stalked forward. He leaped into the air very high his claws unsheathed. He landed easily. "There." He said simply. "That's the battle crouch and leap. The hunter's crouch and leap is very very similar although I dont really know how to do that one very well." Ash mewed with a small chuckle.

Windy mewed " Don't you all learn to fight and hunt? Thats what my family taught me, see I am a fighter, but then I was chosen to become a Prey-hunter, and I stink at it!" Then she dropped into a perfect / battle/hunting crouch and mewed "See?!" then she leaped into the air and twisted in the air before landing perfectly on a fenr, delicatly crushing it.

Ash nodded. He towered over Windy smiling. "Nice! Im impressed. I never really learnt to hunt. My mother wanted me to but then she realized my father who wanted me to be a cave guard and guard and protect prey hunters, knew I would be perfect at it." Ash said. "I think we should choose what we want to be. Not our parents." Ash declared puffing out his chest.

Windy nodded and mewed " My parents left me here to join the clans, my mothers name is Brook where small fish swims, and my fathers name is Stormfur!"

Gray watched quietly. She knew better than to interfere.

Windy went on bitterly " They said that the clans needed thier help and they would be back, but they never have! So some cats mock me because my mother would rather spend time with those clan cats than with me!"

"Stop!"Breeze yowled very mad at them both.Then he gave a eagle to windy.

Gray was horrified. "What's wrong with you today Windy? Stormfur and Brook are still in camp sleeping!"

Windy looked away and mewed " Well, I'd rather them be gone. They never listen to me, all they care about is protecting the tribe, or they say they are to busy to talk to me and then they padded off and just talk to some one else....they hate me.....abouslutely hate me! They just padded right past me and igonor me...I'll never be the kit they wanted.....they hate me! I just want to jump off a cliff....

Gray stayed silent.

Ash looked away and sat down nearby. "My parents are both dead. Your lucky to even have parents alive." Ash scowled.
