Brightstar peers down at her assembled Clan. "All of the Clans are suffering from the lack of no rivers. I, and the other leaders have decided that two cats from each Clan will join the patrol upstream!" She pauses, then adds, "Maplestream, and I will go."

Yes it has. but then it got really dry again and we have to travel upriver to collect water and find out who is blocking the river.

"Nightfrost! Can you send a patrol down to the lake to get water? Max can do it. He's big enough to be able to fill a hollow tree with water!"

Nightfrost brings two warriors and, uh, a big whale with her to the lake, but realizes there are already a huge gathering of other cats. The scent of Shadowclan and Thunderclan hit the Riverclan cats' noses, but the scent of Windclan was missing.

"What's the meaning of this?" Nightfrost yowled, and the crowd hushed. Darkfire and Shadowstorm approached her. "The lake is poisoned," Shadowstorm said grimly, Tawnypelt at his side, nodding. "Stupid Twolegs," Darkfire spat. "I'd like to-" "Calm down!" Max interrupted. At the sight of the giant killer whale, Darkfire fell silent.

"Well, now what?" Tawnypelt grumbled irritably, pawing the ground.

A patrol suddenly appeared from the moor, streaking down to meet the gathering of the cats. And, well, a big killer whale.
Lotusflower was at the head of the patrol with Fernleaf, Snowcream, and Pebblestream behind. "I hear that the lake is poisoned!" Lotusflower yowled. Fernleaf flicked her ears at Tawnypelt. "I heard your question from Nightfrost," she meowed. "Perhaps the streams are still clean?"

Darkfire rolled his eyes. "Do you think the Twolegs would have missed anything? Even the dumb beavers have all traveled far away, somewhere with actual water."

"Don't be rude," Tawnypelt scolded him. Max nodded thoughtfully. "Maybe some cats should go on first, check a few streams. Then I can come along and bring a load of water." He grunted. "Traveling over land and through trees tire me."

"All clan deputies bring one warrior with them!" Nightfrost announced, and Darkfire interjected, "Why do YOU get to-" but stopped at the sight of Max. Shadowstorm, Nightfrost, Darkfire, and *Windclan Deputy (I don't know who it is)* set off, with a warriors next to them, thin hopes of fresh water milling in their minds.

Oh look Max, is that a guy frying SALMON over there ACROSS THE THUNDERPATH? *Max leaps over Thunderpath in search of salmon. Darkfire whips around and pushed Tawnypelt into the river. "Drown! Drown!"

Can I help with the drought?

I really think I can help im in RiverClan so....Just maybe I could find somewater

*Sets off to look for water alone*

Tawnypelt struggles and slashes Darkfire across his face. "What was that for?" She screeched. "Max, stop!" She called. The gigantic killer whale pauses in mid-jump and turns around. Darkfire gulps. No beasts ran over Max...and Max was at least 10 times larger than a firebeast anyways. He prepared to run away like a coward, but froze when Max loomed over him.

"Stop attacking other Clan members!" Max ordered to Darkfire. "We are supposed to find fresh water for our Clans!!! Do you want us to die of thirst??"
Darkfire licked his chest fur embarrasedly and retorted "Your not a deputy! Your not even in my Clan! Stop ordering me around!!!" Monkeystar stepped in front of Max and Darkfire and said "Max is right, Darkfire. We are supposed to be finding water for our Clan." Darkfire flashed a final glare at Max and padded away to join his ThunderClan patrol.
Nightfrost and Brightstar bounded up to Max. "Very reasonable." Brightstar dipped her head in achlodgement and they set off with the other Clan patrols to find fresh water.

"Achlodgement?" it's "Acknowledge". read it out loud, nightfrost

The small party of cats scented rushing water, and their pawsteps quickened. They were tired and sore from traveling all day. Suddenly, the gurgling stream came to view, and Tawnypelt yelped for joy and jumped into it, and tasted the water.

"Be careful!" Shadowstorm warned her, then rolled his eyes. She was drinking like a young kit. "What?" she retorted, looking at the other cats who quickly wiped off the grins on their faces. "The water tastes fine, by the way. You should thank me fore risking my life and tasting the water for you. "Riiight," Nightstorm said. "Well, now someone has to go find Max."

"I'M OVER HERE!!!!" he yelled somewhere further off. the party of cats spun around, looking for him. Then, Lotusflower yelped "Look! I see him!!! And he's.... bathing in the lake.....????!?!?!" The cats came and joined her. "Like, in the water? NO-OOH!" said Darkfire. "I'm not getting my paws wet for nothing!" he jumped back. "You being a scaredy cat?" taunted Nightfrost. "It's just a little water." Brightstar padded up to the lake shore. "MAX! What are you doing!" she called. "Bathing!" he shouted back, slapped his giant tail in the water, and water sprayed everywhere. "AHHH!!! MY FUR!!!!!" screamed Darkfire in a girly shriek. "MY FUR IS WET!!!! DO YOU KNOW WHO LONG THIS WILL TAKE TO DRY!!!!?!??!" and he ran in circles, his tail waving wildly in the air. "I SPENT ALL NIGHT GROOMING IT!!! AND NOW IT'S ALL WET!!! AAAAH!!!!" he shrieked.
