The Attack On The IceClan Fortress

Finally, the great Clans have assembled in front of the IceClan fortress.

AwesomeClan, WindClan, RiverClan, FireClan and ShadowClan have just finished a little jaunt next to the castle. Their camp is near the castle. They are preparing to attack.

ThunderClan and the fearsome IceClan are still within the castle. What will they do?

Shadowstorm, the kidnapped deputy, veers closer to death in the dungeon.

Will the AWRFS Clans be able to navigate the castle? What is the true power of IceClan? And what is Monkeystar's ultimate plot?

The answer for the AWRFS alliance may be in Thunderfang, a former ThunderClan cat that ditched for SkyClan. What is SkyClan's standing on this battle?

It begins now!

Lightningstorm had drifted off a few moments ago and jumped awake. She sniffed the air and could smell all of the Clans were together...this was bad.

Fireheart walked up towards Lightningstorm. "This will become bad soon. They are outside our fortress and Monkeystar is no where to be seen!" he told her.

Lightningstorm growled. "I'll rip all their pelts off! Wait,Monkeystar isn't here?" her usually calm voice was burning with rage. As usual, Lightningstorm only took notice of her leader's disappearence now.

Fireheart was worried. "Yes, I bet Ninecloud will know where he went!" he suggested to Lightningstorm.

Lightningstorm nodded then turned around in search for either Monkeystar or Ninecloud.

Fireheart was next to Lightningstorm to help search. Where could have Monkeystar have gone at a time like this! he wondered.

Lightningstorm's gaze flicked around the room nervously. Where in StarClan could Monkeystar be?!

Ninecloud padded up to the ThunderClan deputy and warrior Fireheart and Lightningstorm.

"Monkeystar has gone to the forest. This whole attack on the Fortress is a diversion to draw away and weaken the other Clans so Monkeystar can take over all of the Clan territories. He'll share some with IceClan for assisting our cause. We kidnapped Shadowstorm, the ShadowClan deputy, to lure the other Clans into saving him. Fireheart, Lightningstorm, you go down and help Monkeystar. Monkeystar is only leaving a few ThunderClan cats and all of IceClan to divert the enemy Clans. IceClan can't be defeated in their own castle, and they'll help the few ThunderClan cats here. Meanwhile, you go and follow Monkeystar so he can set up preparations in the forest."

Hazeldust was creeping around, obviously lost. She had ran away from the others when she heard some voices and now she was still shivering. "...diversion to draw away and weaken the other clans...kidnapped Shadowstorm....divert enemy Clans...follow Monkeystar...preparations in the forest." Quiet voices were talking around the corner and Hazeldust froze, her ears pricked, her heart thumping.

Oh no, she groaned. They all brought their warriors to save Shadowstorm-no one was left to guard the camps. And they couldn't leave now, without Shadowstorm, and they needed all their warriors against IceClan. Where did they even get shark teeth? she thought wretchedly, scurrying as quickly and quietly away from the voices.

Brightstar heard Hazeldust. "I'll go send some of my warriors back,"she said quickly. "Monkeystar can't have that much warriors to invade the territories. and besides, SkyClan is still back at the forest. I'll send Darkstar's warriors back too. In fact, I'll go with them myself."

Icestar heard the murmurings of cats, and then a familiar scent. Hazeldust? Icestar peeked her head around the corner, and saw Hazeldust down the hall. About to be confronted with a small group of cats. "Hazeldust!" Icestar hissed. "Hide!"

Hazeldust heard a familiar voice hiss her name. "Hide!" Turning around quickly, she saw Icestar. A small bit of relief trickled into her. At least the IceClan warriors didn't find her yet! Then she was filled with panic-she had nowhere to hide. Spying a nearby door, she pushed it open and darted in. It was dark, but it was dusty and unused. Maybe it's a supply closet, she thought.

"Alright, let's get a move on then." Lightningstorm turned sharply and padded toward an exit to the forest. She flexed her claws, already smelling the retched scent of AwesomeClan. "Wait a second...Fireheart I smell AwesomeClan...inside the castle. They're close." she growled to Fireheart under her breath so only he could hear her.

~lol what do we smell like? stale bread? leftovers? i thought the cold was supposed to block out the sense of smell...~

"PST! Icestar! I'm here too. She peeped up behind Hazeldust. "Lightningstorm and Fireheart are below us. They've stopped walking I think, because I can't hear any footsteps anymore..."

~hey pain is supposed to stop by this room so we can attack him... too bad everyone knows everyone else's plans now. this is getting weird... the attack force is just going to dodge the trap or something because they know. lol.~

Sweetleaf, one of the senior warriors (pretend, pretend... -.-) was in the main attack force. She was in line next to Briarpaw (^^).

~um, since no one is really fighting yet, just preparing, let's just say the two sides already charged at eachother, okay?~

Fireheart nodded. "Alright, but are you staying here as well?" he asked.

Hazeldust's breathing was short, shallow breaths. The talking of the ThunderClan cats were stopped abruptly, and a tension hung heavily in the air. Maybe they caught her scent. CheeseStar was quiet. (er, that's okay, right? not like it' major godmodding)

~So, anyone out at the main atack force? ~

~this is crazy. I'm going back to the forest with some warriors to obliberate Monkeystar and his sneaky trees ~

~Er, sure. Let's say you snuck around and heard their plan too. And now off to stop Monkeystar.~

~YAH! I'm going to borrow Darkstar's warriors. Plus some of mine. And SkyClan is still back there~

I'm coming with you Brightstar! Off to ... er obilerate MOnkeystar and his evil trees.

~This is going nowhere...so let's say one of my RP characters saw you guys leaving from the epic fight that is going on and decided to follow.~

Out of the corner of his eye, Shadepaw saw Brightstar and the RiverClan deputy going back in the direction of the Clan territories. Shadepaw was always squeamish about actually hurting anyone, even evil enemies-therefore he was on the outskirts of the huge mass of cats readying to fight. And when he saw the two cats stalking away, curiosity enveloped him and he started to trail along-far enough so they couldn't see him.

~Shadepaw doesn't get enough action-it all goes to Briarpaw. But because Briarpaw's up front scaring all the enemies, Shadepaw's going to follow you. ~

"Let's go and find 'em," said Ozone, who was part of the small force that would remain at the castle. We'll eat em!!

Lightningstorm started to pad out of the castle, making sure the team of cats that were supposed to go with her were following her. -We're still in the castle right now....right?-

~Um, I still am, with CheeseStar and Icestar. Hiding in a broom closet. You aparently scented us, and now you're off to find us and possibly claw our fur off. Yay! Sounds like fun! ~

Hazeldust was feeling hot and cramped. Even in the chilly fortress, closets were still small and cluttered, making Hazeldust feel claustraphobic and ready to burst out, clawing through the door for her sanity. It was itching the back of her mind...when were the cats going to pass by?

Icestar, still undetected, snuck around the corner to where Shadowstorm's scent was. While the guards checked on Cheesestar and Hazeldust, she would have just enough time to check on Shadowstorm. Icestar turned the corner, and saw Shadowstorm's body. Only by the light rise and fall of his chest could Icestar tell he was alive. "I have to save you...." Icestar muttered. She started to prowl around the room, anxious. Oblivious, she tripped on a stone that hit the wall with a hollow thunk. Wait, a minute. Hollow? Icestar thought.
