Helicopters

So, the story is basically the Twolegs claiming more land. They want to build a copter landing pad in the middle of the forest where all the clans meet. And they're cutting down plenty of life. Also, their noisy planes and such are disturbing AwesomeClan.

CheeseStar awoke one morning to the sound of chopping. She didn't know what it was; the turbo meat butcher 5000 wasn't supposed to arrive until next moon. She lazily dragged herself out of the comfy main den and looked around. Right below her nose, there was a huge slit in the cloud hallway that led to the open kitchens and the Sky Gardens. Also, there was a growing cloud of fumes that was SLOWLY rising. Up ahead, there was a terrifying flying monster that continued to chop up the clouds and leave a cloud of chemicals.

~Do Helicopters Chop Trees?~

Tobi's sensitive ears heard the grinding and shredding sound echoing throughout the forest. At first he was reminded of IceClan's hideous claws. Then he realized this sound was even more sharp. Grating. Inhumane (Okay, so maybe the better word here is "inkitty" or "indoggy"). Tobi rushed out on a lone patrol. He spotted the angry monsters from a distance. Some destroyed trees from the ground. Others flew through the sky, whipping the angrily with its rapidly churning blades. Tobi whimpered and ran back to camp. He had to report to Icestar!

Cowboy gasped.

Watershred woke up and walked to see what was going on and she almost fell through the hole until Cheesestar caught her.

Shuriken was informed of the disturbance in the forest. The IceClan leader looked down from the high mountain cliff. The twoleg activity wouldn't interfere with IceClan. However, their helicopters buzzed over his hidden fortress every day - when he was sleeping. If this continued, it would present a problem. Shuriken wanted his beauty sleep.

Shuriken extended his claws. "Pain. Desertclaw. We've got work to do."

Brightstar got a warning from Cowboy. RiverClan would have to to something.

Cowboy, having after warning the other Clans, raced back to his half-concealed den at the base of a snowy mountain.

CheeseStar leaped down on the least damaged clouds and towards the forest. She could already see the grounded monsters heading towards the territories, where the oblivious cats were waiting.

"What in StarClan?" Hazeldust grumbled after hearing loud chopping and Watershred squeal. Padding outside the soft den, she saw a gaping hole in the normally thick, dense mass of clouds where their camp was situated. CheeseStar was staring after a large, flying Twoleg machine/monster thing that left plumes of acrid smoke trailing after it and churning up enough wind to make the trees around it flap and shudder.

She saw puny Twolegs sitting inside the contraption which was gaining speed and flying away. She wondered if the Twolegs saw the AwesomeClan cats on their cloud camp. ~If there's some tent or somewhere the humans are staying while they check out the area or something, we can sneak in there and mess everything up and possibly leave some wounds on them.~

Cowboy wanted to sleep, but the whirring of the helicopters kept him awake. He was getting MAD.

Blossomheart stumbled blearily out of her den, and almost fell straight into the gaping hole. "What in the name of StarClan?!" She yelped. Spluttering, she scrambled away from the hole. "We should get Talonstrike to kill that stupid contraption," Blossomheart spat. It'll ruin the smell of our food. Maybe we should cook something yummy to cover this--ack!--smell."

~Let's pretend that AwesomeClan has more cats and kits.~

"Good. Nearly everyone's awake now. We should make an announcement-warn everyone in the clan about the hole and try to cover it up with something so the kits wouldn't fall in. And Blossomheart," she added to the she cat next to her, "That monster is huge. Talonstrike would look like a mouse next to a tree compared to that thing." Another cat added-"And there were many more than one."

In the end, the AwesomeClan cats patched up the hole with the other unuseful clouds, although they had to travel quite a distance to reach them. "Hope those filthy mouse brains don't come back," CheeseStar mumbled.

But unfortunately they did. And this time with an even bigger helicopter. This one was bulkier and much larger. The raw chopping sound of the blades echoed through the trees as they whipped to the wind. The clouds dispelled.

Ninecloud looked up at the swaying trees. The large monster was landing on the ground! Ninecloud dove into the bushes. The helo touched ground and from its inside jumped out several twolegs. They seemed to inspecting the area. After a while, they seemed satisfied and they went back into the helicopter. The monster began whirring and soon flew into the air. Ninecloud coughed at the acidy fumes. He snarled. All the prey within two miles would be long gone.

Night bounded up to Ninecloud, cursing under his breath. "I was hunting a perfectly good, plump rabbit," he complained to the leader of the hunting patrol, "and just as I was about to pounce, it ran away because of the accursed helicopter!" He lashed his tail in frustration.

The blades of the second flying thing began to blend all of the fluffiest clouds into a wispy thin one. without the cumulus clouds, the clan would soon have nothing to stand on! CheeseStar ran to call the elders, queens and kits into safer territory. After they were out of danger, CheeseStar decided to hunt something to eat. She caught a fat seagull, and bit into it heartily. but almost as soon as her teeth hit it's belly, a cloud of smoke came out and its meat was tainted by the acid. "Oh no!" CheeseStar mewed out loud. "The food's been poisoned!"

Hazeldust knew the prey had been drinking poisoned water and breathing in smoky air-only prey like mice were still safe enough to eat. "Maybe we can stay in the forest underneath our cloud camp for a while," she told CheeseStar.

"The Gathering will be soon-we'll discuss how to get rid of the Twolegs with the other clans then."

~CheeseStar! Go on the chat!~

Blossomheart sniffed the air. "I saw a sheltered clearing a few days ago when I was hunting on the ground," she announced. "There were a few abandoned caves and plenty of moss and bracken in the area. Though, the clearing is filled with brambles," Blossomheart added.

"Brambles? I don't think Twolegs would like to live in brambles," Hazeldust remembered the painfully clean Twoleg nest she had adventured in. "Did you actually smell Twolegs, though?"

Blossomheart shrugged, stretching out her cramped muscles. "I didn't smell any Twolegs, and there is several big oak trees blocking out the sky. They can't land there at any rate."

Hazeldust nodded at that information. "Well, they might not be able to land there, but they might have wanted to. They might come back to cut down some trees to make space for their hulking monsters. But in the meantime-we're might have to move onto the land underneath AwesomeClan if the monsters are going to come frequently. Our clouds usually hold against nature but this is unnatural." She hoped CheeseStar would agree.

Blossomheart nodded her agreement. "I think it would be safe. And if they come, which I highly doubt, we can always move. Do you think StormClan would help us? They're pretty friendly."

~Where is everyone else???~

"Actually, I think we're going to all help. These Twoleg monsters aren't just going to harm our camp, they're probably going to cut down trees and poison water too-in which case all clans are going to suffer."

Blizzard prowled about sniffing. "I can't smell anything over this gaseous stink," he muttered as Ozone started coughing beside him.
