Most of the young kids dont have parents, and care for their younger siblings. Some of them even bend the elements! Then one day, some people ride in to the city looking for girls to fight in battles. Whoever wins all the battles becomes rich and famous. Of course, everyone wants that. So...

(I volunteer as tribute! )

Sidra beamed up at Feye and Kira. "Thank you!" She accepted her share of the bread and nibbled on it slowly. Hunger and lack of proper nutrition had hollowed her cheeks; she was too skinny to be truly pretty, but there was something endearing about her large gray eyes and bright personality. Breaking the piece of bread in half, she stuck one part in the small pouch on her hip and proceeded to devour the other part. Sidra was hungry, but there was no harm in saving some food for later.

George casually tapped his fingers on his leg, a faint smile on his face. He looked down and spread his hands below him, presenting his favorite bending outfit. "I'm not in much of hurry, exactly, but I have to help out in some of the training a few of the younger kids and learning, with their bending," he explained. With a cocky, flashy grin, he added "I volunteered to." He turned to Clary, gesturing her to bend some air on him. "I have a few minutes until I have to be there."


~For one, how about they be siblings or something? It'd be a bit weird to be all royals and have like no relation o.0~
~Kira can be taken away too~

Kira flashed a grin to her sister. "You finally caught on to the whole 'saving' thing," she praised. Slowly, she turned to Feye, getting up but not wanting to leave her sister in case it was something bad. "What's wrong?" she asked warily.

Sidra patted her pouch proudly and settled down on a boulder nearby. At 12 years of age, Sid was still quite young. She was nearing 13, but she was completely, holy wholly innocent. Not quite understanding the worry on Feye's face, she crossed her arms and blinked, quiet for several moments. "Is someone coming?"

Kira popped Sid on the nose to shush her. "Be quiet!" she hissed. Finally, she cautiously got up to Feye's side. She clasped her hands over her mouth, her eyes wide with shock. "The guards! They have handcuffs!" she gasped. Being poor and stealing often, she was terrified of any prisoner-related things. Quickly, she whipped around to the younger kids. "Go in the rooms. It'll be all right," she said, forcing herself to calm down a little bit. She walked over to them, trying to herd them away.

"I'll go with you," Clary offered, sending over a gust of wind at George. "Make sure none of the little ones pass out from the heat, hm?" Her voice was teasing, but in truth, she was simply bored. A walk had worn off her restlessness, but there was still nothing for her to do.

Sidra dug in her heels. "What's happened?" she asked, her voice shrill and angry. She couldn't remember the last time danger had come directly to the village. They were just overreacting! Twisting away from Kira, she skittered out of reach. "You can all go hide but I'm going up o the cliffs!" Sidra declared haughtily, suddenly filled with the desire to rebel. She scampered down to the road before anyone could stop her, her small feet leaving dusty footprints. She thought she heard muffled hoofbeats, but ignored the sound. Probably one of the mules, she thought.

Feye felt the ground move as Sidra ran away, and she dashed after her. "NO!" she cried, ~I'm the guards, so that isnt god-modding, right?~ as a man picked her up and stopped his horse. Another picked her up and she screamed. "Finn, help!" More men surrounded our village and scooped up three more girls. Feye earth bent a a platform under the horse and he bucked her off. She earth bent a wall between her and the man, and her bumped his head. This gave Feye time to get back. Unfortunately for her, the men were Wind Benders, so she could not feel their vibrations, and they took her agaon, swinging her up on a horse. "Goodbye, Finn!" she called , but Finn just stood in shock. Tears rolled down Feyes's face as her freinds were being captured too. Then, she heard one man say,"They'll be good warriors."

~lets just say everyone got captured already. Time for the arena?~

Hikari walked towards the black market, her few golden coins jingling. She saw a variety of things. Weapons, expensive meats, healing potions, you name it. Hikari froze when she saw a bag, filled with goodies.
