Permission was obtained to create this RPG

Rules:

ShadowClan RPG (v.1.0, Every member of WCF is Eligible) Shadow11

Please stay on topic; there will be one major event and a
few minor events at all times. I would not encourage more than one
major subject though, so the RPG doesn't get too over-whelmed

Follow all Site Rules, ShadowClan Rules, and Official RPG Rules (I would suggest reviewing all now)

Drama is encouraged, but try to keep it in the RP. 'Drama' includes ongoing arguments as well

Members from other clans are allowed to make their own SC cat, but their
main characters in other clans can't show up unless with permission from Snowlily, Icestar of ShadowClan, or me.

Icestar of ShadowClan, Snowlily, and in this case me are the 'leaders' of the RP, meaning our word is law.

Try not to go too fast or two slow in the RPG, I would prefer you don't just make a post saying that your cat "jumps over a fence," or something and then does nothing more. Another example would be posting your cat doing a bunch of things in only one post

If the rules are broken more than four times you will face punishment depending on which rules you violate

I will assign a problem for the ShadowClan Cats every time the RPG seems to slow or die down. Also I will most likely assign patrols for dawn, sunhigh, dusk, and moonhigh once the RPG starts going

Cat Name: Dustpaw & Larkpaw
Description: Dustpaw is a large ginger tabby tom with a white 'collar.' Broad shouldered and powerful, he can leap great distances and deliver blows with frightening accuracy although he dislikes climbing trees. A budding master at hunting and combat.
Larkpaw is a medium sized calico she-cat with a white chest. Lean and quick, she can run quite fast and move silently without leaving a trail. Not very strong, because she majors in stealth and camouflage. A good tracker and ambush specialist.

Personality: Dustpaw is open and friendly, fiercely protective of his friends and Clanmates. He's somewhat of a goofball, usually joking around and pranking on his denmates. Also kind of egotistical, but will do anything for his sister.
Larkpaw is the opposite of her brother. More quiet and secretive, she's usually serious and somewhat ill-tempered. Skeptical of strangers and good at reading others. However she does share Dustpaw's trait of being protective of those who she is close to.

Other: The two are littermates, half-rogue. They had a brother called Blazepaw, but he'd died shortly after joining ShadowClan. (Their mother had abandoned them with their father when they were 4 moons old.)

Other: She will assume the role of Shadowclan deputy after Snowlily's death.

Snowlily awoke from a light sleep with a quick jolt, her breathing silent, but labored. Looking around at the other Shadowclan warriors, she relaxed realizing where she was and noticing she didn't seem to have woken anyone. The twilight seeped through the smallest cracks of the den, letting in a dim light spuratically around he warriors den. She stood up and padded out of the den in absolute silence. Once she made it to the clearing she yawned and stretched out each of her limbs in turn. She looked around the empty clearing, thinking over who to send on which patrol for the day. She shook the clinging moss from her pelt and groomed her fur, then took a second to enjoy the frost that blanketed the earth, still missing the cold chill of her past clan life, but content with this one.

A shadow lurked within the concealed shadows of the large ShadowClan pine trees. It leaped with posture, landing with even more silent grace. A blackbird was clamped in the young ShadowClan warrior's jaws as she glided to the ground, deciding to take the journey to camp on foot, despite the damp leaves and mud puddles. All night I've been hunting and now this, she thought bluntly as her paws sank in the steep mush of a ground. With a shuffle of her paws, Sorrelbreeze raced off, eager to showcase her prized plump blackbird. She was just appointed a warrior two days ago, so why not show off?

"Larkpaw, wake up!" Dustpaw's cheerful voice blasted into her ears, jolting her awake. The calico apprentice scowled into the moss of her nest, tempted to ignore her brother. The air was still chilly-- the temperature when the sun was rising but it still hadn't quite warmed the forest enough. That meant it was dawn. And that also meant sleeping in unless she was appointed on a patrol. Which also meant she could continue dreaming about that rabbit. Larkpaw squeezed her eyes shut, tail tip twitching as she recalled the musky scent of her quarry...

"I mean it, wake up!" A paw jabbed into her ribs, hard enough to hurt. Larkpaw's eyes popped open to glare into a pair of amber pools. Dustpaw's breath billowed into her face, smelling of pine needles and the old shrew he'd eaten yesterday. It successfully dispelled any remaining cobwebs of her dream. More than a little disgruntled and annoyed, Larkpaw peered up into his face. "This better be good, because--"

"Have you forgotten? We've got training today!" Dustpaw said brightly. He leaned back and glanced outside. "Snowlily's already up. That means the patrols are gonna start out soon." He looked down again, only to find his sister glaring lividly at him. Dustpaw hid his grin as he backed out of the apprentices' den. Larkpaw had never been a morning kind of cat. The large ginger tom shook out his fur and yawned widely as he squinted at the sun. Not that he was either. Would anything exciting happen today though?

A shadow crossed through the trees as a shapeless black blob darted from tree to tree. Shadowstorm had been an expert at climbing trees, even when her clanmates weren't. She loved to hang out on the branches, catching prey, dropping down on the enemy, and eavesdropping. But she would fight on land if she had to.

Sorrelbreeze reached her destination; ShadowClan camp. Her sensitive paws slammed into a giant mud puddle which sprayed everywhere, but the confident cat pressed on. Her graceful steps had turned to disturbing rustles as she sloshed through the steep sogginess of the ground. Trotting over to the fresh-kill pile, she let the blackbird lose contact of her teeth. With a contented nod, she plopped down next to Snowlily. Getting comfortable as possible she looked over to Snowlily and purred. "Hello, Snowlily. How have you been?" she mewed, her musical voice flowing freely.

Snowlily could hear the two eager young apprentices chatting and fumbling about in the apprentices den. She simply flicked her ear acknowleging Sorrelbreeze's presence, though she still hadn't said anything. Perhaps I will have featherstep take Larkpaw out for training early this morning and put them both on the evening patrol, but then I still need warriors for this mornings patrol too. She thought silently. She paused to look over at Sorrelbreeze, "You know it would be much easier to plan out patrols if the warriors didn't insist on being out alone all night." Snowlily shot the warrior a very pointed gaze. Her voice was even but soft, coming off more as a firm suggestion than a demand. "You should get some rest now. I want you out for the evening patrol with Featherstep and Larkpaw.

Featherstep had just awoken and padded out of the warriors den when she overheard her name being called for the evening patrol. She padded over to Sorrelbreeze and Snowlily, not stopping long enough to sit with them but wondering what the days verdict was on patrols. "Has the dawn patrol left yet for the day? Perhaps, I could double up on patrols."

Snowlily glanced over at the fresh-kill pile. There were still scraps left from the day before, and there was a fresh blackbird. It didn't seem that there would be enough prey for the whole clan very long. She looked back at Featherstep and shook her head before answering. "I'll need you to take Larkpaw for some early morning hunting and training. There's a whole clan to feed and the supply of prey in the woods is still low after this past leafbare. As soon as you and Larkpaw are ready to go, you're welcome too. Don't stall too long. The others will be up soon.

Featherstep said nothing back, only giving a slight nod and padding off toward the apprentice's den. She padded about halfway through the den's entrance, noticing the two newest apprentices appeared to already be awake. "Larkpaw, we will be leaving for a hunting patrol and training as soon as you're ready" she said with a light purr.

Larkpaw's tail tip twitched and she blinked at her mentor. "It's still too chilly to be out of my nest. But," she went on, throwing her brother a pointed look, "since I've been rudely awakened aleady, let's go." Dustpaw's grin widened when Larkpaw purposely knocked into him as she padded past, shoving hm to the side. With just the right momentum and position in a push, Larkpaw could make up for her lack in the strength department when she was bossing Dustpaw around. "What are we doing first?"

Snowlily nodded in greeting to Rogueblossom, then shook her head, trying to clear her mind. Okay... she looked between Sorrelbreeze and featherstep. "Featherstep I want you and Larkpaw on a hunting patrol early this morning. Be sure to leave yourself some time to rest this afternoon." She looked over at Sorrelbreeze, "You're going to lead the evening patrol, so I want you resting in camp for now. Featherstep and Larkpaw will go with you on the patrol tonight. For now, Sorrelbreeze, I want you to wake Aurorawing, Shadowflame and Dustpaw for the dawn patrol. I need them ready to leave immediately. I'm taking Bloodpaw for training in hunting this morning with Rogueblossom."

Nightfang stalked through the pines in search for prey. He parted his jaws. He smelled the closes scent as a squirrel. Nightfang slipped towards the scent. He dropped lower as the prey came into sight. He slowly put paw in front of paw. Once he was close enough she made a gigantic leap and trapped the prey in her long claws. He killed it swiftly with a bite to the throat. His black fang sinking in. He grabbed it and went to unbury the other pieces. Once he undug the prey she had captured she headed towards camp to deposit his prey.

Dipping her head with pure respect and formality, Sorrelbreeze mewed warmly to Bloodpaw. "Good morning, Bloodpaw," she greeted, stumbling to her paws and giving her back a last rough lick. Sorrelbreeze stalked off to the Warrior's Den, her clumsy back paws struggling to bounce after her front ones. Poking her head in the Warrior's Den, she spotted the figures of two familiar warriors. "Aurorawing, Shadowflame," she hissed to the peaceful-looking frames. Her shadow loomed over the dark bracken ground, it's features twitching. "You two get Dustpaw up! You're all going on the dawn patrol!" She lumbered in and collapsed on her soft nest, suddenly overly-tired. Remember to wake up before Evening! her sharp memory stabbed at her brain before she dozed off.

Shadowflame woke up groggily to see Sorrelbreeze standing over her. "Ok, Sorrelbreez," she mewed. She clambered out of the den and into the apprentice's den. "Dustpaw," she hissed. "You're going on the dawn patrol!"

Nightfang blinked open his eyes. " Am I on the evening?" Nighfang drowsily asked. He got up and stretched. Nightfang padded out of the den and padded towards the fresh-kill pile. He dragged out a magpie. He settled down and started to eat the magpie. He was so lonely, no one really liked him in the clan.
