- Arrival:
After days of traveling, your paws, pads cracked from the long journey, force you to a stop. You look around, finding yourself in a city. It looked abandoned. Slowly, limping, you settle down on top of a piece of rubble and closed your eyes. A nap wouldn't hurt...
"Hey." With a jolt, you force your tired body to stand and unsheathe your claws.
"Calm down,"The tom said, his voice surprising you. It was quiet and mysterious. A bit gentle, maybe, and he sounded tired, as if he'd been traveling as well. You said nothing."You're not from around here, are you, loner? Listen closely to what I have to say. If you miss even one detail, it could kill you. This is the story of this city... Hey, pay attention!" Your head jerks up quickly.You hadn't noticed that your eyes, still tired, had begun to close.
"...Humans left this land years ago. Our kin, their former companions, took it in. It was a haven for wildlife, until Crave." He growled the name.
"Crave came to the city when I was only a newblood and my father took him in. He was only 10 moons old, but there was a darkness about him that no one could see. It choked those around him, drowning them in lies and conspiracies. Crave killed my father, Roque, leader of Felidae, and the alpha of the Lupus, Calhoun. The cats and dogs of the city tried to bring down Crave, but every animal that stepped up to Crave was killed. Soon, both Felidae and Lupus joined together under The Order. The Order watch over everything, but we are safe if we keep to ourselves during the day. The night, however, is Crave's domain. He comes out, taking anyone who stays out too late. The City may have The Order to keep everyone in line, but here, there is only one true rule... Stay out of the streets at midnight." You take in the mysterious cat's words in silence, trying to make sense of all of the names and facts. The tom quickly glanced at the sky, then back at you, his green gaze boring into your pelt. A strange, silver marking appeared on his face, on his right eye. Was it... glowing? "We've wasted too much time." He scowled. "I should've just taken you with me and explained somewhere else. The light was getting brighter by the minute."Find somewhere safe. There's a den, just past the dead city lights... The long metal poles. Hide. Crave will be out soon, and I want to be able to find you tomorrow." Swallowing nervously, you hop off of your makeshift nest and spot the lights. They were like sticks in the ground, everywhere, like a path. "Loner! Hey! Go!" The tom shoved you."You can't leave. The Order will catch you. Now, go! Can't leave? Your fur bristles again, but you start running for the lights. "Hey! Loner! Be careful out there. The city is a dangerous place!" The tom yells, as if abandoning all caution and worry he had shown before of getting caught. You curse him silently as you run, your paw pads still sore.

Basic Information:

Currency:
Money in The City is called Strike.
Nips - Small copper bits sometimes resembling a kit's fang, but usually uneven, if not lumpy. About the size of a pebble. May contain rock as well as copper. Cheapest.
Fangs - The most common kind of currency in the city. Fangs are silver and around 1 1/5 inches. They are, like their name implies, shaped like a cat's fang, though not as long or sharp. They are straight, not curved, and end in a blunt point.
Bites - The most expensive kind of currency. Bites are made of either gold or silver, sometimes even both. They are round with curved tips. It somewhat resembles the top of the spade, but with three points at the top. Bites are just a centimeter or 2 bigger than Fangs. They are the rarest of the three
Claws - The rarest of all, but often worth the least. Claws are carved of rock. They are purely for good luck or decoration and are not commonly used. Paying with them is considered rude or a joke. Platinum claws, however are extremely rare and are worth the most of all Strike. All claws are curved and pointed at the end, unlike fangs, which are straight and blunt.
How it all works:
1 Rock Claw = 1 Strike/Nip
1 Nip = 1 Strike (Like a penny)
1 Fang = 4 Nips
1 Bite = 12 Nips, 3 fangs
1 Platinum Claw = 5 Bites (20 Nips, 15 Fangs)
Carrying Strike:
The Necklace - Many cats carry around their Fangs, Bites, and Nips on a necklace. Each one come with a small hole in the middle so that something can be strung through it. The string for the necklace is made of metal so that thieves couldn't grab the necklace and break it off easily.
The Pouch - A strong pouch made of durable leather left behind by the humans. It is worn anywhere, even on the neck. It is big enough to carry all of your Strike, but also a few more items of your choice. Most pouches, however, are worn out or ripped. It is rare to find one that is new.

- The Purpose of Strike:
Strike will actually matter in the rp. It will be used to buy special bonuses (and other things...)
- How To Earn Strike:
Cats of The City earn Strike by doing errands and jobs for Crave or The Order, or by becoming merchants with Crave's permission.
Members will earn Strike by being active. I will sometimes do random Strike drops/bonuses.

You probably just went through around, maybe, 5 pages of text, so I'll try to keep this short
As you can see, I planned this to be a long-lasting rp! It would be the first of 4 (or more, y'never know) 'books';
The City of Midnight, The City of Sunrise, The City of Morning, and The City of Sunset. (More or less the titles I have planned if I ever need to make another). This is pretty ambitious, but I'm hoping it'll work out pretty well.
(Yes, Imagine Dragons. Fits this rp pretty well)
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Try your best to follow the rules and everything, and have fun.
IMPORTANT:
The rp is split into more than 1 post because it took an exorcist and a half just to get this rp working. I don't want to break it again. (I have Brighty's blessing to do so)
There will also be a SHOP where you can spend your Strike!

Death grinned creepily, lurking beneath the streets. She wondered absentmindely if anyone would buy her services today, she really needed some more Strike. Walking in the shadows, she looked around, hoping something interesting would happen.

Blade woke with a soft yowl from her tree. She scowled and leaped down silently. More Strike would be useful...for some weapons... The she-cat thought absentmindedly as she marked her tree again. Blade's hood covered her small body as she leaped up a different tree and scrambled to it's highest limb. Cats were prowling the ground beneath her, and Blade drank in the air. An assasin Shade from the Order! ( does that count as god-modding?) Quickly Blade rubbed the beech leaves on her white pelt and crouched in the tree, breathing heavily. Occasionaly she peeked out, waiting for the Shade to be gone. Finaly it was gone. She exhaled and slid back down the tree, going to scavence the streets froe dropped money.

Description: A pure black she-cat, with yellow eyes. She has a torn ear and a long scar along her face going from her forehead, to her check, passing inbetween her left eye and nose.
Personality: She is sly and sneaky, always sticking to the shadows. She hates large open spaces, and will usually run away if there is fighting involved. She knows many cats in the city, who she makes deals with. She has many secrets and very few even knows where she lives in the city or much about her. It is hard to become good friends with her, since she is often untrusting of other cats (especially strangers). She is loyal to the few friends she has.
Skills: She is extremely fast, and can blend in with the shadows, and she is able to disappear into the shadows
Weaknesses: isn't very strong, not a good fighter

Windy broke his toe so he might be busy for the next week or so, like Spice said. And I think it's dawn right now. When everyone is starting to wake up/go back to sleep.
