Nyla held her head lower as Diablo growled at them. She leaded slightly into Ronan's shoulder. "Please... We're not looking for more trouble..." She was seriously struggling not to collapse again at this point. She wouldn't make eye contact with the other wolves though not wanting to pick a fight. "We just need a place to rest."

Ronan nodded, now a bit more concerned that she would actually collapse on top of him. "We don't want any trouble. Is there a healer in your pack that could see my mate?" He asked again, noticing the growling male. Trouble... He thought, and met his stare before looking over at the two wolves beside him. They looked more dominant. The alphas, perhaps?

Diablo's ears flattened as the male stared back at him. He was a stranger. A possible danger to the pack.

Mate?! What on earth is he trying to get away with? Nyla risked a quick glance in his direction but didn't argue. She figured a public protest would those this packs trust and she didn't know how far she would wader for the next. She fought back the growl that crept up her though as her fighting instincts tried to sneak in.

"I don't think I will have to give up either role. It's just that it is going to be very busy around here for a while. I will need your help more too. But how about we continue that walk now?" Her paws were starting to freeze from standing on the frozen lake too long anyway.

Ajax let out a short laugh. "Hm, we'll... Not exactly. I don't think anyone really planned to be fighting a bear. Especially not one with cubs to protect. But it is what they used to bring the moose back to camp for food earlier that day." The large wolf sat down with his head help high. "It takes a lot of practice for all of them to bring down an animal like that. But the biggest thing is catching it by surprise if at all possible. However, there are those occasions where you couldn't catch an animal like that by surprise and in that case the hunting party usually splits into groups and surrounds the animal."

Nati mumbled something indistinguishable through her tail. Her breathing was still rough but she didn't open her eyes or fight him. She was too engrossed in the warmth from his pelt. Her ears twitched every now and then as he buried her muzzle in her paws.

History: She was born in another pack, but during a war that destroyed both of the warring packs. Her mother managed to escape with her, but her mother soon died afterward, and Denali's been on her own ever since.

Denali padded through the forest, the trails filled with the scents of other wolves and prey.
When Denali reached a clearing, she spotted two wolves. One male and One Female by their scents.
The male wolf seemed to had been talking to the female, who really didn't look well.
Denali froze, her tail twitching. When she had been little, her mother had been killed by pack wolves around this area. Every muscle in the black and white wolf's body froze, fear creeping down her spine at being spotted but if she moved, they would definitely spot her, so her only chance was waiting them out.

Eros frowned and put his ears back, shrinking back like a pup. "Meanie..." He mumbled, giving Mingra a look of disapproval. He shook his head and signaled towards Tenebris when he wasn't looking. "A MATESHIP IN DISTRESS?! WOAH, WOAH, WOAH, WAIT." Eros suddenly sprang to action, his eyes wide. "WOAH." He quickly jumped in front of them. "I will save your love!" He whispered, an extremely determined look on his face as he ran for the healer.

Ronan noticed the movement out of the corner of his eye. He could tell he had some explaining to do later. Maybe I should've called her my sister... He thought, starting to have second thoughts. "Thanks..." Ronan glanced over at the young white wolf, surprised. He had left before he had the chance to do anything. "I'll repay you somehow. I can hunt. I have a caribou leg hidden."

Diablo snorted. He caught the glance, his grey eyes switching over to the female. Something wasn't right.

Nyla had finally reached her limit and was no longer able to stand. she slowly slunk down onto her front pas as they curled beneath her body and finally her back legs which seemed to fall at her side. Her once glossy pelt now seemed dull and she didn't mind so much that there were other strange wolves in her company. He made a soft noise which sounded like something between a whine and a sigh. Her muscles relaxed, easing the pain and the shaking slowly came to a stop. She still avoided the other wolves gazes.

"Hey guys what's up?!" A tall, lean black and white she-wolf asked as she trotted up to the newcomer's. Her tail ceased it's wagging. She sniffed the air curiously, and she stared at the male wolf and the now slumped over she-wolf.

"Is she sick....?" Denali asked softly, sniffing the air for traces of sour scents of illness.

"Is that his mate...?" Denali asked again, feeling slightly guilty for asking all those pressuring questions while the she-wolf was clearly not well. The tall, lean, fuzzy black and white she-wolf sat down on her haunches, watching the she-wolf on the floor. She had to admit, she did look a little bit better now that she was resting.

Tenebris was thoroughly confused with what Eros was saying. His ears pinned back for just a heartbeat, puzzlement written all over his face. What...?

...

Sora followed Utau when she ran off, apparently not hearing her. What had caught her attention? The young she-wolf tracked the trainee, and the closer she got, the stronger the foreign scent was. It was a wonder she hadn't noticed it before.

...

At Sora's sudden rush out of camp, Tenebris became alarmed and even more confused. He called after her but the Hunter had vanished into the forest. Should I stay, or should I go? He made his decision.

"Mingra, I'll be right back." Tenebris raced after Sora, going slower than full-speed in case there was a nasty surprise waiting out there somewhere. Several scent trails overlapped, and underneath it all, he could taste the musky scent of foreign wolves on the wind. The Beta Male could also smell the faint tang of blood. A low growl worked its way to his throat. He spun around a low bramble push and came face to face with two unfamilar wolves and several Blue Moon Pack members.

~ Can someone fill me in on what's happening in the camp? I want to start up on my hunter again XD ~

Paladin
nodded slowly. "Well I will not let you neglect the pups if it is true.
I think, personally, that we should first go to the medicine wolf to
ensure that you even are having pups. Until then I guess we should keep
our thoughts to ourselves. I will come with you when we arrive in
camp," he answered flatly. His eyes began to shine like a young,
confident, strong leader he once was. Now, after some moons, he was a
bit more dull, but at this moment he seemed to hold the new scent of a
new leader. "And also yes," he added. "How about we walk on the outline
of the forest?" He heaved himself up and shook his pelt, stepping onto
the steep snowy bank. He looked back at his mate and awaited a ripple in
her movement.

~Basically, two loners have entered the camp (Ronan and Nyla). Both are injured and Ronan offered a caribou leg in exchange for treatment. The other wolves are only just starting to notice intruders and oh. Mingra is expecting pups too.~

Mara: Mara stood up and quickly followed Paladin, unsure whether or not he was actually happy about the news or if he was possibly just acting the way he thought others would expect of a dignified leader. She tried to seem less pleased about it herself but it wasn't easy to hide. She stayed close to his side as their pelts brushed against one another.

Paladin noticed Mara's wariness in her eyes and turned to her, looking
at her with an inviting smile. "You still look wary, Mara. What's wrong?
Again, you shouldn't stress about the pups. We're not even sure you
actually are to give birth, but if you are, we'll work it out. Plus,
this is good, because we need an heir anyways ," he assured. He looked
beyond his mate to the pasture and open land. What was it that made
Paladin want to act like a trainee again, and just sprint through the
snow?

Mara: "I'm alright. Really...but..." She hesitated wondering if it would really be appropriate to finish saying the words she was choking over now. She stopped suddenly. The snow reached halfway up her legs now and she looked back at her mate. She really wanted to be happy delivering the news but it didn't seem like he was to happy to receive it.

Edits: Tenebris leaped to his paws. He had been so preoccupied with Mingra, he hadn't noticed the two foreign wolves entering the pack. You have to do better. Get it together! Irritated with himself, the Beta Male loped up to the gathering group. "Give them a little space!" Tenebris barked, pushing up between Utau and Sora. "What's your name, and why are you here?" His yellow gaze flickered with an unreadable expression as he glanced down at the injured she-wolf.

Ronan's ears quickly flattened against his head. He didn't like crowds, and it felt now that they were the center of attention. "My name is Ronan. My mate was attacked. Please, let us see your healer. I can repay you." The male looked over at Tenebris, protectively stepping back to be beside his 'mate'. He liked to think he was a good actor.

Diablo's grey eyes scanned the male as he spoke, searching for any hesitation or any hint of false emotion. Nothing... He thought, grunting. Either the stranger wolf really was with the female or he was an exceptional actor. Ronan, huh? Diablo thought as he approached, staying at a distance from the injured wolf on the ground. Upon closer inspection of her fur, it looked like she had been in bad shape for a while now. Did her mate go for a long hunting trip when she was attacked? Was she left there waiting for him...?

The wolf's mate did look like she was in a very bad shape. Tenebris didn't necessarily want the she-wolf to die... "Diablo, fetch Nkri for me would you? Or Faolan." He passed the growing crowd of wolves a baleful look as he turned away. What was there to see?

"We'll discuss the terms of repaying later," Tenebris told Ronan. "Bring your mate over here please." He gestured toward the center of the camp. The area could be easily guarded: just in case. And besides, it would be exceedingly unfortunate if the two were run over by a returning patrol.

Eros then realized he was running in the opposite direction of the healer's den. Curse my determination to save love! He sighed and sprang towards the others. Looking at Tenebris, he could tell the beta didn't like him and he frowned again. Meanieface.

Mara: "I'm alright. Really...but..." She hesitated wondering if it would really be appropriate to finish saying the words she was choking over now. She stopped suddenly. Nyla: She tried to stand up slowly. Every part of her protested to the movement as he inched her way across the clearing where she was told to be. She hated being in a new place when she knew no one and was being asked to trust a wolf she had only just met. She did her best to hold her head up as she walked and with each step a slight blood trail followed.

Diablo blinked, surprised to have been called upon. He hesitated slightly, glancing from the beta male to the rogue Ronan before lowering his head respectfully and padding off. He passed Eros. The white male appeared to be running to and from the end of the clearing. Only the spirits know what that wolf is thinking... Diablo thought, his ears twitching slightly. He neared the den and peered inside, ears pricked. "Nkri...? Faolan...?" The male's quiet voice was barely audible, and he paused for a moment before trying again. "Nkri, are you in here? Faolan?"

Ronan glanced at Nyla and padded in close. "Lean on me, love."

Nyla: Doing what she thought was appropriate for the situation, she did lean against the wolf slightly, supporting her weight on her own for the most part. She had wanted to give a disapproving look at him calling her "love", since they had only just met and she didn't know how well to trust him but since it had already been said there was nothing she could do about it. Besides, if she did give him a disapproving look with all of these other wolves around, they would surely have been discovered to be faking the mate thing.

Ronan was pleased that the female was going along with his plan. She had almost no choice though, given the situation he put her in. He felt sorry for her. The 'sister' act, or even saying she was a friend would have worked just as well. The wolves of the pack hadn't been too aggressive and were relatively easy to fool. Ronan didn't like the grey-eyed male though. He looked as if he were studying them. I need to be extra careful around that wolf...

Eros stopped running around when he saw Diablo pad into a den. "NO!" He roared, bouncing heroically over to the bigger wolf and almost tackling him to the ground. "I will go through with the treatments!" Eros announced, puffing out his fluffy chest. "I may or may not have experimented with several herbs to try and discover a combination that would score me a mate. In the end, I didn't get one, but I cured her cold!" He shrugged. Eros voice sounded a little disappointed. He ran into the den and grabbed a ton of junk before anyone could stop him and sprang over to Nyla. "RONAN, YOUR MATE WILL LIVE!" Eros quickly and easily cleaned up the gashes and covered them with cobwebs and other bandage-like supplies he found to make it stick to the wound. "THESE ARE FOR PAIN." Eros was freaking out as he shoved an herb towards the wolf. "SWALLOW OR YOU'LL DIE AND RONAN WILL COMMIT SUICIDE."

Nyla stared at the white wolf wondering how someone so crazy would become any sort of healer or even be allowed near a herb or anything else for that matter. You have got to be joking me... This time she couldn't help but glare at Ronan. I cannot believe I have to go through this now. She muttered under her breath to him, "You owe me for THIS one." quiet enough that only Ronan would here her. You aren't actually going to let him try to clean my wounds are you?! "I'm better now." She said trying to make this whole thing stop.

Diablo let out a cross between a growl and a gasp as he stumbled, shooting a fierce grey glare at the wild male. What the...? Before he could stop him, Eros had already grabbed several herbs and cobwebs. Diable tried to run ahead, but the male had already seated himself and had begun to work. He flinched slightly. "Isn't that a little harsh...?" The male said quietly, watching with questioning eyes.

Ronan stepped back, very confused, and muttered a curse under his breath. He gave Nyla a genuinely apologetic look and watched Eros carefully. He knew a bit of healing himself, so he would be able to step in if he had to. The white wolf was working so quickly and freaking out so much that he wasn't quite sure. "Hey, be careful..." He snorted, glancing at Eros. Alright... this one I do owe her. It's even now, girl.
