Gingerpaw's Warrior Ceremony

Mkay, so Gingerpaw is to be Gingerlion today! We have talked about it so she said she's ready to make her ceremony!!!! Here's the dialogue just so you all know:

Leader: I, ____, leader of _____, call upon my warrior
ancestors to look down on this apprentice. (He/she) has trained hard to
understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend (him/her) to you
as a warrior in (his/her) turn.

Leader: (Apprentice), do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?

Apprentice: I do.

Leader: Then by the powers of , I give you your warrior name. (Apprentice), from this moment you will
be known as (new warrior name). StarClan honors your (virtues), and we
welcome you as a full warrior of (Clan).

DawnStorm padded into the apprentice den. "Gingerpaw!" she cooed. "Gingerpaw! Today you become a warrior. You passed your test!" she said a bit louder. She playfully batted the dozing apprentice with her paw. She flicked her tail and purred, walking out of the den. She padded up to Birdflight. "Gingerpaw's coming, I'm sure. I just went in there. Pretty sure she heard me," she mewed.

Jumping up, Gingerpaw beamed. She rolled into DawnStorm. "I'm so exited!" the soon-to-be warrior pounced on her mentor playfully, licking her ear. She had been waiting for this a long time. Gingerpaw totally deserved it.

Dawnstorm flipped over with her apprentice and laughed. She rose to her paws and shook her pelt. She looked at the giggling apprentice and tilted her head. She then nodded her up against the high rock with her. She winked at her sister to show she was ready.

This day was finally here. Gigerpaw's body shook as she followed one of her mentors. Where's Viper? She thought. There were so many thoughts swirling her head. Would Frostwhisper come? Or Birchkit and Tigerkit?

Dawnstorm noticed Gingerpaw's pang of regret. She leaned forward to her apprentice's face and smiled. "Gingerpaw, it's okay. I know none of your friends are here in WindClan, but look how much you've progressed. You've got a new family. You have me and Viper, and Birdflight, and your own family," she mewed reassuringly. She licked her apprentice and returned her glare to Birdflight.

Gingerpaw touched her muzzle to her mentor's face. "Thanks." she smiled

Rushing through the moor land, Frostwhisper cried, "Gingerpaw I'm here!" Out of breath she stopped in her tracks and stared at her sister. She was strong and lean, and her fur was healthy-and fluffly- as ever. Another cat stood beside her, probably her mentor.

Gingerpaw stared in shock. Her sister was here! The soon-to-be warrior ran to Frostwhisper, knocking her over. Letting her sister get up she introduced DawnStorm. "She's my mentor. Viper is also my mentor." Beaming again she brushed up against the RiverClan warrior. "How are your kits?"

Dawnstorm blinked in surprise and stepped back, flicking her tail. She flicked an ear. "Um, hi, Frostwhisper," she said. She didn't know if it was aloud to have a RiverClan warrior here. She whipped her head to the deputy and her sister, awaiting her response. Her face was grim. What should they do?

Frostwhisper bowed her head. "In all respect Dawnstorm, you wont make me leave. Gingerpaw is my sister!" A bit of anxiety jabbed at Frostwhisper's white pelt.

Dawnstorm was surprised of this cat's ferocity. She was about to draw back in an unfriendly snarl, but stopped herself. If she ever adopted Gingerpaw, she was almost certain she wasn't going to adopt Frostwhisper with her. Not yet, anyway. Although, she did respect this cat's bravery. She was still angry, though, because this cat was acting as though DawnStorm couldn't give her a choice. "Fine," she muttered, completely forgetting that she did not have the ultimate say of this. "You can watch, but I will watch closer. You pull anything-" she was about to growl. She stopped and sounded more friendly, "Then you will be driven away and never aloud to come again." She looked back at Birdflight. "Birdflight," she yelped.

Birdflight narrowed her eyes as she stood upon Tall Rock. "Enough." She called a slight growl in her voice. "Frostwhisper, I believe it was wrong of you to come straight into our camp and demand to stay and watch a private WindClan warrior ceremony. But, it would also be wrong of me to kick you out. I understand, Gingerpaw is your sister. You may only stay watch Gingerpaw's warrior ceremony. Nothing else. I hope you understand that you will be watched very closely and right after your sister's ceremony you will be escorted out of our territory. Please don't let this happen again because we wont be so kind." She mewed in warning. "Now, onto the ceremony. Gingerpaw, please step forward." Birdflight mewed, a cheerful smile curling onto her muzzle and her eyes a light with joy. Gingerpaw is such a strong, young warrior. I have the perfect name for her! She thought.

DawnStorm shot one more hateful glance at Frostwhisper and then turned to the Tall Rock. She mewed along with some others, softly chanting Gingerpaw's name. She wondered what her warrior name would be.

Sparkflame stepped out of the nursery and blinked. A small paw jabbed her in the leg. "Ow!" she whipped her head around. "Leafkit!" she hissed at the trouble-making kit.

"It wasn't me!" Leafkit mewed defensively and stifled a laugh. "It was... Spottedkit!" she mewed.

Sparkflame shot her gaze toward her sister's namesake. "Really?" she asked.

Spottedkit puffed out her chest. "No! It wasn't me! It was.... Foreskit." she looked at her sister. They all knew it was Leafkit.

"All of you stop it and follow me, stay close, I smell RiverClan." Sparkflame mewed.

Moonblaze walked up to her sister and laughed. "Hello little ones, I see you;re bickering, hmm?" she purred. "I remember when Sparkflame and I did that." she mewed.

"We still do."

"Whatever," she looked at Spottedkit. "I still can't get over the fact that you named one of you're kits Spottedkit, but nine of the four Moonkit, or Blazekit even." she joked.

Proudly, with her head held high, Gingerpaw walked tword the WindClan deputy. The apprentice took a deep breath with her eyes closed. Soon I will become a warrior! She thought happily. Exitement rippling through her body, she licked her chest and stepped to the foot of the Tall Rock.

DawnStorm shrieked with pride and winked at her apprentice. She puffed out her apprentice, her eyes gleaming with streaming pride. She nodded to Gingerpaw, motioning her up. "You'll do fine," she mouthed. She looked at Birdflight and winked.
