Another Chat RP: The Graveyard

So.. this is originally a Chat RP, but we thought it'd be more fun if more people got involved.

A Quick Intro and Info:

There are Spirits:
Some are malevolent, some are benevolent. They haunt the area of the dead forest, also known as the Graveyard. Sometimes they go beyond into the jungle/forest as well where the living are.The ghosts rank as how well-known, feared, appreciated, or honored. They can touch the living.

The rest are big cats:
They are mostly loners, but some are friendly with each other and often hunt together, live together, or just cross paths every once in a while. There are only three known groups: Night's Darkness, Graveyard (the Spirits), and the Hunters. The groups' ranks are much like the Warrior Clans. The loners rank only as how well-known. feared, or appreciated.

Other: Kind, gentle, and teased, Tiny was born in Night's Darkness and grew up, training to be a spy. By the time she had been promoted to a spy, she didn't want to be teased anymore. She left Night's Darkness, but not without wounds. She had to kill their leader, the biggest, strongest, toughest, and bravest panther alive, Rixyx. She managed to do it, becoming one of the most famous loners.

The smallest panther known in history had just been promoted to a spy when she wanted to be released from the group. No cats had ever been freed from Night's Darkness since he became leader. All who tried were killed. Tiny, the small panther, had killed him and he swore revenge. He tries to get Sovereign to help him; Malevolent Spirit.

Other: Chrono was a Loner of the forest. In his youth he was like a shadow, staying hidden and observing his surroundings training himself in the ways of hunting and fighting. He became so well-known for he always helped anyone he saw. No matter who it was he would leap into lets say, a skirmish. He'd help and in seconds he would disappear just like that. He helped so much he was honored and worshipped for his strange yet gracious ways. Chrono grew very old, weak, and so fragile in his cave he couldn't stand and went without food for days. Finally some of the forest groups went to search for their savior to find him barely alive. Once he passed, they buried him and still up to this day he does whatever he can to help whomever he sees. Chrono is very strong, brave, powerful, wise, loving, caring, and generous.

Other: Neva stays true to herself and is an incredible leader. She is fierce, brave, powerful and level-headed, and has great instinct on what is right and wrong for her friends and family. Neva is also very independent due to the fact that she was once lost in the forest for more than a quarter moon when she didn't know how to hunt or fight. She tends to be somewhat quiet at times and tends to stay to herself but she is still a great friend. She has extremely long claws and fighting comes naturally for her making her one of the best fighters. She is also great at stealth even though she has a distinctive white pelt.

Other: Pyrhos, son of one of the most feared big cats, is fierce and arrogant. Many cats fear him and honor him only because his father would kill anyone who bothered his son in any way. Pyrhos takes advantage of this and walks about like he owns the place.

Other: Reth was born in Night's Darkness and was an extremely high rank. He was honored and respected until, his mother and father died because of the leader at the time. Once Reth heard that his leader who was also one of his good friends had killed his family, Reth killed every cat his leader loved including the leader himself. The group tried killing Reth but he attacked as well leading to more death. Somehow the great lion made it out alive and became a loner. Any other loner he saw he killed. One day, he saw a beautiful lioness and he didn't kill her at all. He fell in love with her and protected her, and soon they had one son named Pyrhos. Soon after the birth of Pyrhos a white cheetah known as Neva killed Reth in his sleep causing the lion to strive for revenge, including his son who wants to avenge his father's death. Pyrhos is just waiting for the right time to strike...

Other: Eliana is very sweet, kind, quiet, clever, sometimes fierce and brave but mostly loving and caring. She just is herself is is very stubborn and fierce at times. She is very loyal and believes everyone deserves a second chance. She has broad shoulders, a flaming orange pelt with jet black stripes and stunningly beautiful golden eyes. Overall she is very innocent, playful, sweet, swift and at times, fierce, brave, strong and powerful.

Other: Oz is calm, stubborn, and fiercely loyal. He can overpower almost anyone if they let their guard down, and isn't pinned easily. He has great strength and can sprint for quite a while. Oz is known in battle mostly for his charging attacks and blows, but also for his loud roar. He isn't as bloodthirsty or bitter as most males are, but he can be irritable.

Corr slunk through the Graveyard, his large paws making muffled thuds on the cracked earth. No prey lived in the dead forest, but Spirits didn't need to eat anyways. As it was, he missed the thrill of the hunt, of pouncing on an unsuspecting water ox by the river, claws tearing into its thick hide... "Corr." The massive tiger's head jerked to one side, teeth bared in readiness. Corr relaxed only slightly at the sight of the massive black panther. "Sovereign." he returned the greeting, pausing to allow the ancient Spirit to catch up. "I'm not an elder," Sovereign snarled. "We only age if we wish." Corr shrugged, his thick fur rippling along his shoulders. He answered flatly, "You don't seek out my presence on a daily basis. Something has happened." Sovereign snorted, his eyes blazing like chips of blue ice as he glared at something in the distance. "A panther killed Rixyx." Corr narrowed his eyes, tipping his head to one side. "He kept the balance--" "And now the balance is broken!" Sovereign roared, cutting Corr off. The tiger Spirit flinched, jerking away. "I thought you didn't care about the balance, Sovereign," Corr growled. "Rixyx was my last male descendent," Sovereign snarled, crowding Corr to the trunk of a lightning blasted ash. "I care! And now nothing will be the same. With the balance broken, everything will change!" The panther Spirit shimmered, its form melting into the shadows. Corr blinked, Sovereign's ominious message still ringing in the air long ater he had left Corr's presence.

"The forest feels different," Gemini said. The lithe leopard glanced over her shoulder, her paws continuing to trek the familiar path through the forest. She paused to nose the hisbicus flowers, now limp and shriveled. "It's too early in the summer season for them to die. They were fine a couple days ago..."

She was also Rixyx's mate until he died. She is gentle with her cubs, but has a short temper when she's not around them.

Other: Rixy and Waterlily were born not long before their father, Rixyx, died. In honor of their father, the cub that looked the most like Rixyx was named Rixy. They admire their older step-sister, Tiny for her strength and courage.

Rixyx walked forward, I wonder if I can find... "Sovereign!" he grinned. "I need your help. Nero, a lost panther, had a daughter. Tiny. I suppose you know of her. We must kill her. I have never been beaten in my life and I won't be remembered as the panther killed by a weakling!" He growled, looking at his ancestor, "You must help."

Tiny trotted away from Night's Darkness. She normally watched the group until sunhigh every day since she escaped from the camp. Rixyx thought he could keep me imprisoned in that camp, she lashed her tail. My legend has spread far already. No one can kill me. I destroyed the biggest, strongest, toughest, bravest panther alive. I should be feared, but I didn't want to kill him. Just escape. Oh well. I shouldn't be teased anymore! She walked through the forest a little ways when she heard a voice.
"The forest feels different. It's too early in the summer season for them to die. They were fine a couple of days ago..." Tiny spotted the golden leopard staring at a patch of shriveled flowers. She almost walked out, but stayed back. I don't want to scare her, she thought, then backed away, stepping on a twig while at it.

Star padded towards Gemini. "I know," she muttered. "What could this mean? Death? Trouble? Unknown problems? Why would they die so early?" She heard a twig crack but ignored it, looking for more herbs. It's too early. Why would they be dieing?

Accepted Rock! Although how cubs can be feared and respected, Idk..

"I don't have to do anything, youngling," Sovereign snapped, a deep growl of warning rumbling in his throat. "If you let yourself get beat by a weakling, it's your own fault!" The massive panther crowded Rixyx the way he had done to Corr, backing him to the brambles, the only plant that seemed to thrive in the Graveyard. "You upset the balance!" Sovereign roared, cuffing his kin soundly."If you hadn't chosen to fight Tiny, if you had a son, if." He growled again. "It isn't about your legacy anymore. It's about something much much bigger! Even the Spirits won't be safe."

...

"Maybe the bugs killed it," Gemini said hopefully, her golden eyes shaded by the foliage as she glanced around. "Or the weeds are choking it." She chose to ignore the fact that the tree's roots barricaded any weeds from growing beside th hisbicus. The lean muscles in her shoulders bunched as she crouched to sniff the dying flowers. They were shriveled and brown. Shaking her head, Gemini stepped back the same moment the crack of a twig reaching her ears.She spun around, narrowing her eyes. "Shiv?" she called tentatively. The tiger had been absent for a couple days, obviously having gone wandering. Maybe he'd come back now. Then Gemini dismissed the idea, her long claws scraping the tree roots, as she slowly tracked the sound. Shiv never made a sound, despite his size. He was a hunter and fighter, true to his heritage. Maybe it was Atria, the young, swift cheetah that sometimes agreed to carry messages for them, or spread news. But Atria had no reason to skulk around. It was a stranger who had made that sound.

Tiny stared at the leopards. Looks like I have to show myself, she thought and padded from her hiding spot. "No. I am Tiny," she stared at Gemini. "The defeater of Rixyx. I do not want to hurt you. I only padded this way and saw you, then tried to go away without notice." She heard a gasp from the other leopard nearby.
"Did he have a son?" the leopard asked.
"No. Why? And who are you to ask me?" her gaze turned to the panicked leopard.
"This is bad..." The leopard paused. "I am Star."

Rixyx stared at Sovereign. "So," he growled. "One of each of your sons, grandsons, great-grandsons, ect. have been leader of Night's Darkness. How can that disrupt the balance? Why can't Rixy or Waterlily become leader one day? Why does it have to be a son? What matter does it make?" He turned when he heard a new voice.
"It matters a lot," a white tigress roared. "Never has a descendent of Sovereign not been leader. I am Moon. I may not be as old as Sovereign, but I know a lot."
"But still, why can't Rixy or Waterlily be leader?" Rixyx growled.

Rixy looked at Nightress. "Momma, can we go play? Please?"
"... Of course," Nightress answered. "I'll come with you. Let's go." Rixy smiled, staring at Waterlily before padding after their mother. "Yay! We get to play outside of camp for once," Waterlily whispered. There was a pause as they padded from the entrance then Rixy broke into a run, "A butterfly!" She heard Nightress giggle when Waterlily bumped into Rixy, knocking both of them into a tree. And after this, Momma can tell us about Tiny! Rixy thought as she got up and started chasing the butterfly again.

"Why it is this way begins when I was alive," Sovereign growled heavily. He stared to Rixyx, eyes burning with a mixture of fury, apprehension, and something else. "You must understand: good luck is a sham. There is no such thing as good luck. Fortune always comes with misfortune, whether before or after. Light was born alongside darkness, brother and sister. When the big cats began to thrive in this jungle, free from Man and plague, a curse was set. The Graveyard was formed, the trees here drowned from a flooding river. Whenever a big cat died, they would come here, trapped forevermore, until they were forgotten. Man invaded other forests and destroyed them, killing off others, but they left us alone. As it was, the two groups were formed. Night's Darkness and the Hunters. Incubus was the founder of the Hunters, as I was the founder of Night's Darkness." Sovereign paused, drawing breath as he gathered his thoughts. "The two groups were never really truely, 'light' and 'dark', they were a mix. Although the Hunters were always heavier on the light, and my warriors heavier on the dark. Incubus was once my best friend. But different beliefs drove us aprt to become enemies. I was too volatile, too cold, to have a mate, but Incubus had two litters of cubs to succeed him. The Hunters were protected for generations too come, as their successors could be either related to Incubus, or chosen as heir. But it was up to my sister, Rarity, to provide successors to the leadership of Night's Darkness. And she did. A litter of five, full of promise and potential. I was also lucky, and as I said, good luck is a sham. Another curse was placed upon us, one that stated that only males that were my kin could be leaders of Night's Darkness. All because it was Rarity that provided leaders for generations to come, and not me with my own mate." Sovereign paused again, and added softly, "But I had a chance to get a mate. But the panther turned me down, mistook my ambition for evil." The ancient Spirit rumbled, lifting his head to glare at Rixyx, his gaze hardening once more. "We have to warn the other Spirits!"

Gemini flinched at the horror in Star's tone. "What is it? Should I get Kabuto?" Worry tinged her soft voice, and she tensed, ready to bolt to find the Hunters leader. She was so loyal to her fellow Hunters, Gemini always believed that Kabuto could somehow provide a solution to any problem.
